MI notebook is miles ahead in terms of perfomance since it is running i5 10th gen
so perfomance wise MI is better.
Storage wise MI is having very very low storage as 256GB is not going to be enough if u are using laptop for more time.
MI is running SSD so it will perform overall faster than the HP laptop.
HP PROS when compared to the MI is the branding, MI is still new to laptop industry, so its service and products maynot be upto the mark, while HP has been here for years.

5500U is much better even though not a perfect comparison with a laptop processor & desktop processor, since 10400F doesnt have iGPU needs a discrete GPU.. still 5500U has much better iGPU than intel processors
