Very educational, noticed you said evaporator removes heat from the interior, I was told evaporator absorbs heat into system and like you said the condenser removes the heat. Lol. love that snap-on machine and that old school shop. lol, Thanks Doc

Hello, may be i missed something. At 5Min04, please can you tell what the others line is doing(It is above the expansion valve)? Expansion valve is the Tank where we first charge the r-134a?

Finished watching video and learning a lot about cars. What I can't believe is watching you with the recycling/ charging station doing leak testing and evacuation Is the automotive industry is still using vacuum only and no digital micron gauge. With 30 inches you don't know if it pulled to 50,000 microns or 300 microns. I thought vacuum testing went out some time after after R-12. Also like you said 20 degrees seems to cold at vent and you said if lines freeze up coming out of evaporator the system was ok. I used to work at Izzy's auto year's ago and charged a lot of used cars and i would charge them to the frost would melt and that would put the suction at 32 of just over and run down highway and when returning back to shop the suction line would be sweating like crazy and the car or truck had ice cold air.

Unless I missed it, he doesn't cover the expansion valve, orifice tube, or accumulator. I would love it if he explained these things as well. How about an updated video?? Otherwise, this is SUPERB! excellent job Dan. Keep up the great work

      Real good/smart Instructor.
Didn't pủt new Refrigerant Oil back into the Vehicle & all diffêrent families require different Oils ; just like some vehicles mandate Green Anti-Freeze - while others call for Yellow , Blue, etc. & don't get me started on putting thẻ Right Grade òf Motỏr Oil into a pẻrsón vêhicle...Once wỏrked for this Fella & he put the WRONG GRADE of Oil into this Womans car, when she made it to the Los Angeles Forest, her Engine Seized up on her....I wunda hơw much that cost him.

If you have a car that used freon gas but is supposed to convert it to R-134, some systems cannot be converted to R-134 or won*t work right.

Very awesome- vid. Yeah, a little more about the how the plenum and doors operate and cleaning the evaporator. I realized my car, bought used, had the cab filter removed and there is a lot of dust/gunk in the plenum.

I can't seem to figure out why my a c stop working intermittently on a high speed unlike my Ford that stop cooling on a stop? What would it be? Compressor,Fan condenser txv? Everything is checked okay, pressure is normal with my gauge.

excellent video, My mode door works, cabin door and blend door. My issue is ive lost my ac fluid, pretty much all leaked away, im now getting less airflow on passenger side vents and the air is not as hot as driver side...what are your thoughts. im guessing evaporator has a leak and has now gummed up restricting airflow and as for heat im just having bad luck and my heater core is also starting to fade. so in summary , 2012 chrysler 200 weak airflow and not as hot on passengerside. cheers

Hi, you had said at 10.00 that if the engine was cold, sorry it should have been hot, the fan clutch should be locked.....sorry....started laughing but you are being recorded under stressful situations. I know that you already may have heard about that spot, just thought I'd ask......???

Please note! The boiling tempature of water changes due to pressure. The lower the pressure the lower the boiling tempature of water! That is what he means by boiling the water
