  • Some music just seems divinely inspired! Like 3 Little Birds by Bob Marley, Don't you Worry by the Beloved, Undisclosed Desires by Muse - what are your divine messages in the shape of songs? And exploring the lighter side of this stuff - I think many of us (me included) have a tendency to take ourselves a little too seriously...and that's not what it's all about!

Yeah, tried all that. This is really the only system that works. I'm a pretty heavy sleeper when I'm out cold. Although a cat throwing up anywhere in the house wakes me up instantly.

I not only have to have that awful beeping alarm, I have to put the alarm clock across the room so I physically have to get up and walk over to it to turn it off. Nasty, but, I wouldn't get up otherwise.

Lol - not sure that will catch on as an alarm sound! x

ugh. Not even loud and lively music? I guess that's the one good thing about being a light sleeper - the CD starting wakes me up. Although the music this morning was really mellow and quiet and I managed to sleep through the first half hour! Oops. Yep, days off are the best! x

NO! Have you tried waking up to your favourite (lively) music? x

Nope, doesn't work. Just becomes part of the dreamscape going on in my head as I sleep. There are many days however, when I wake up exactly 1 minute before my alarm is set to go off, so I turn it off, I'm already up. I much prefer days off when I don't need an alarm at all.
