Hello Steve the appliance guy here in Las Vegas I just worked on this exact same range today and I saw another comment below on how do you replace the door switch in the upper right hand corner of the oven door frame. Scott shows you how to do everything as far as taking apart this oven except for the one item that I had to do today and this comment below also needs the door switch in the upper right hand corner or door plunger same thing. you have to completely disassemble the right side panel of the oven to get access to the wire harness if you try to pop out just the door switch as I did you will break the wire as Samsung leaves no slack whatsoever in their wire harnesses. Disassemble as shown in this video but when you get to the door switch part you have to take out all the screws from the black side panel from the back and from the top it'll be easier if you remove the splash plate for the burners and just set it aside once you remove the right side black panel there are two other smaller aluminum panels held on by one screw each then you will see the black wire harness leading up to the door switch disconnect the black wire harness use a pair of needle nose pliers to push out the bad switch. push in the new Switch reconnect reassemble and the oven will start working again. THIS REPAIR is for people who are seeing the Door error code on the display when they go to use the oven.

A problem I'm having is .. The broiler works but the bake does not. New igniter was installed on the bake function. What is the voltage necessary to open the portion of the valve for bake? I only have 70 ohms on the bake igniter. I'm wondering if i have a failed gas valve / safety valve? Also, same oven but no induction motor on the back ... Customer bought it used.

Hi, we have this exact same oven and I can't find many other videos of it being taken apart. I believe I need to replace the door switch plunger. On other ovens this looked pretty straightforward- just lift up the drip pan and disconnect the door switch plunger from the wires, pop it out, and replace. I just got the drip pan popped up on this Samsung gas range though and am not finding easy access to to door switch. Any suggestions? Do I need to remove the thermal blanket or something - I'm afraid to start digging without further advice and don't really wanna call someone for a $20 replacement part. Thanks!

Thank you for the instructions!! Our cat brought in a rat that had lived a couple weeks in this stove. We didn't realize it until we turned the oven on one night to bake dinner.... PEEEEEUUUUUWWW. Heated rat urine and turd stench is TERRIBLE!!!
I had to throw out the insulation and clean the exterior oven cavity with diluted bleach.
Now I need to find a good replacement insulation before re-installing all the panels, etc...
    Any ideas for thermal insulation?

You can get the model number and go to Sears parts direct.com and look through the diagrams and tell you find the picture of the insulation and you can order that to replace the old one.

@@QuickAndEasy5MinuteAppliance Thank you. I ending up finding 2" x 24" x 12.5 feet and cut it down. It was messy and quite a task, but it worked and is probably better than the Samsung OEM, plus I added heavy duty aluminum foil on both sides.

Where is the lock for the door

Mine is affected by RF when using ham radio equipment. The oven comes on and it starts heating. Radios are FCC approved and within license specs. Samsung seems not to have a solution. If anyone knows, let me know. Thanks.

I wonder if you can somehow shield the control consul from radio waves?

@@QuickAndEasy5MinuteAppliance Clip on ferrites used everywhere inside the electronics compartment, also on the power cord with bigger ferrites. No effect. Very sensitive stove with even low power and digital such as FT8.
