they actually have a smaller one which is meant for your face! it blends a lot better and cast goes away. It especially says its great underneath makeup. Its called cetaphil sheer mineral face liquid sunscreen. i think it came out the same time as this one that you're trying out.

I used this sunscreen and the exact same thing happened to me and I rubbed it as much as I could without pulling on my skin too much and warmed it up in my hands and one my face with my palms and let it sit and still it was just so bad. I didn't even apply that much. Also my skin is light. It got passed because for some people it doesn't leave a white cast, which is weird maybe we got different formulas because in my experience this sunscreen is trash. I only use mineral sunscreen and all my other ones have a reasonably small amount of white cast.This one is just ridiculous, had to return it and Im almost a little annoyed that they're still selling it
Wish I had seen your video a week ago cuz that’s when I purchased this sunscreen on Amazon 😅 after trying it for 3 days… 1) I have fair skin and it still left a very very white white cast! 2) it broke me out! 3) can’t blend AT ALL! It’s matte so it dries super quickly and the more you try to blend it the uglier and more uneven it gets! Definitely a HUGE MISS of a sunscreen product!!! Agree with everything you said about it!!!
Have you tried waiting and letting it set for 15-20 minutes? Because in my experience the white cast on this has toned down on my face similar to Neutrogena Sheer Zinc Face after waiting a while.
There is actually a difference in this case though. The face one is much lighter, and has a liquid formulation without titanium dioxide. This one is for face and body, but there is definitely a big difference between the two formulas.
Also the just for face one only has niacinamide, and the face and body one has the three ceramides as well as licorice root and some other beneficial ingredients. I'm thinking about trying the face/body one next, despite the white cast because I like the ingredients, and I wear tinted sunscreen over my regular sunscreen anyway. Plus I'm pale AF 🤷🏼♀️

I've never seen anyone rub sunscreen into their face with just the tips of their fingers like that.... You need to use your palms, or at least all of your fingers simultaneously, to add more warmth during application and thin out the consistency so the product is pliable long enough to work into the skin before the film-forming agents set. I'm not trying to be rude, but that's exactly why it's "drying" so quickly and making it impossible to blend.
@@ZacMalone I know you can't get all the areas of of your face with your palms lol the only reason I brought it up is because I've used this sunscreen and have NEVER experienced the issues happening in this video. No matter what I'm using, I put the sunscreen in my palm first, rub my hands together for a half a second so it's on both, then pat it onto my forehead, cheeks, and neck to distribute the product evenly, and quickly blend it all into my face, neck, and ears with my fingers. I've never have any issues with products pilling or anything either, and never even understood why anyone would until I realized that not everyone applies product the same way I do LMAO

@@ZacMalone yeah but it's a completely different product. The "face and body" lotions are thicker and more durable so they hold up better on the body. They also contain both Zinc Oxide and Titanium Dioxide. The face fluid is more cosmetically elegant. It's a thinner consistency, and only uses Zinc Oxide (almost certainly at an even smaller particle size), which has more robust UVA protection and less white-cast than Titanium Dioxide.

The whitecast of this sunscreen is insane . I personally use Blue Lizard 50 SPF It doesnt make me breakout and the whitecast is not that bad .

I did wear it the entire day the first time I wore this. It didn’t fade much and when I reapplied it was even worse😂 total fail I

The face version is nowhere as bad as that but certain leaves a slight whitening and shine effect..

She did not say it left very little cast she was very honest and admitted it left a cast
