    When you work in a place like I do, with largely no accountability, you then can become guilty of this as well, Because other people not doing their jobs make your job much more difficult. but sometimes it harder to figure out how to mitigate the problems that they're causing you and instead complain about the problems that they're causing you. Thank you Jaspreet, his video was right on time.

    I have been watching your videos for awhile, and everyone of your videos have been right on the money, I'm a owner operator in the trucking industry and when I've tried to share some of my ideas with other driver's, there's always someone else trying to knock down what I have said, and every one of those complainers are the ones who complain about me because I'm making it and thier not

    Your videos are the best! Recently, I was sitting in a work truck with an old friend getting ready to start work. It was raining pretty hard. He went on for 20 minutes about how much it sucks working in the rain. When he was finished, I said, "yes...the only thing I hate worse than working in the rain is listening to someone bitch about working in the rain". I wasn't trying to be mean. I was trying to let him know that he was making a tough situation more miserable than it had to be.

    great stuff! im in an institutional working environment in a really big manufacturing facility and i am surrounded by the half glass folks your talking about and it is incredibly hard to keep a good mind set. It literately takes every ounce of energy to work in my environment on a daily basis. What i have learned though, is that "mob mentality" can be a ruthless, insecure, vengeful hating machine. And im under an incredible amount of scrutinization, i can be the a perfect, "everything" and it doesn't matter. i am still made out to be a stupid, piece of crap that doesn't do anything. Knowing that, your video was a wake-up for me, knowing that theirs people like me (which might instill hope, thank you) and it was a breath of fresh air knowing that someone out their has the same mindset. thank you again.

  • @writteng
    @writteng 7 ปีที่แล้ว

    I can relate. In addition to this mentality; I just came into the mindset (myself) about five years ago that my community (myself included) goes through life haphazardly with little understanding of the purpose behind what they do. (example; Left lane drivers - not actually knowing each lane has a purpose)

    I still fight society all of the time. Life happened and I was sick, so sick I was disabled from work and now in debt so I actually spent 9 mo on bedrest and then once I gave birth I had a family member who let me sleep on their floor next to my bassinet. Now I am actually diagnosed as OCD because I self educated about money, accounting, investing, economics, business, and I kept track of every penny since 2008 and they told me I was too "neat" and no one would need to know all of that and who cares. I can tell you what I pay for goods and services now vs then. I see my income and spending for each and every year. I am able to analyse the data that is my family's financial future soooo I guess I will be OCD, but I call it responsible and organized knowing how much it would take to raise my child if I wasn't around and a will is a responsible parenting thing. Sh*t Happens to everyone. Some roll with the punches better than others.

    Criticism is fantastic. Without criticism people would have to waste their own time finding mistakes and then after that accepting the mistakes made and improve upon them. Haters and criticizers help in saving time. Also , according to Guru Nanak Dev Ji ( nindak { i.e. Haters and criticizers} neyada rakhiya or in other words keep your haters and criticizers close to you so that they can help you in improving upon your work ).

    Hello Jaspreet. Hope you are fine. I live in Bangladesh and I like your videos although many of the things you say are in American context. I want to tell you something. You encourage everyone to become an entrepreneur. That is a good thing. However, not everyone can become a successful entrepreneur and everyone does not need to be an entrepreneur. Working with the right person can also make a lot of difference. You know Jack Ma said that do not choose the company, choose the leader. That is what I am trying to say. Can you do a video on this topic?
