Heartbreaking bagging all that broken glass but with both your attitudes it's moving along as with the floor down the real fun of building a home begins.
Pricilla's face when Chris dropped the side of the packet allowing the glass to fall was priceless. Chris is in the KAK now boys! 🤣AHHHHHHHHH Borie!!!!!!! No man! I am so jealous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Happy to see a bit larger motor for your boat. Will help it move along better. It appears that you have heaps more work to do before you can move in it on a permanent basis not counting any more vandalism occurring. Best wishes and hopes for better luck.
Hi guys it's good to see you back at it again, So what happened to them two mingers on bikes who vandalised your boat? Did they get TH-cam famous and get punished by their parents or nicked by the cops?!! Anywho if looks could kill! 😂 Thank you both for continually filming your epic build it's very interesting and amusing at times also, 👍❤️🇬🇧🏴🇨🇮🏴🏳️🌈
Your dog still baffles me with his colouring, anyhow it is what it is. A few more HP is a good idea soon you'll be wake boaring in the canal! Can't wait to see more work on the inside. 🙂
Hi guy's , coming along nicely . Once you get laying that floor down and the boats skeleton starts to disappear it'll take on a whole new perspective and that horrible blip weeks ago will become a distant memory ...........onwards and upwards .
Not enough water in the canal to move? How odd. It's rained so much this summer. There's a leaky 1/4 mile of cut off Grand Union canal spur running through where I work. It's full. Highest water level I think I've seen in it and it's usually running out faster than it's going in. It must be heartbreaking to be having to move it all to get away from those little devil kids. Especially with an outboard motor. Keep going. You will get it safe soon.
Thanks Sue, I believe the issue was a leaking lock that had drained the section of the canal, CRT had been to attend and fill it up. I believe it's better now as we have seen a few boats coming through
Love the channel chaps, but please check you've installed your joist noggins in properly before you lay the flooring. I think they should be vertical rather than horizontal as they will be load bearing. Cheers 👍
Great job! You may not progress as fast as you would like, but in the end, it will all be worth it. I recognize that look you gave the camera Priscilla a Look is worth a thousand words (unfortunately, I have been in that same situation). Your lunch looked so good and very well deserved. Poor Barley looked as ready to go home as Chris. LOVE AND PRAYERS FROM IOWA! 😊❤❤❤
From past experience a super heavy chain and padlock on the outboard motor would be a good idea ,unfortunately people love to snatch and grab them. Nice looking work.
Love the content, you should get yourselves a nice high thrust prop for that outboard. Maybe even a 4 blade it would get you setting off much quicker 👍
Two advices you can skip: #1 put the plastic bag in the vacuum container and let the debris come directly to the bag #2 hang some fabric (curtains?) from the ceiling to prevent echo in your workplace home
I didn’t realize that both of you were were a little bit country, with that music you were playing? Finally picked up a better outboard motor, brilliant, do you still have that inboard motor in the cargo container? I hope that new spot where you are going to get the flooring is a safe place, cheers.
Hi I love boats and this project is really great I would be in my element doing this .However I do have a concern .vaccumining up glass and working around sharp steel edges in flip-flops is really not the best idea in the world as one or both of you in hospital with injuries will do nothing to move the project forward . Think safe get some safety shoes and some other suitable work wear in your interest and the lnterest of keeping the project going full tilt .End of rant .Great job so far keeping up . Mad jealous would love to be there . SM Dublin Ireland
Can you use the expression "Lets get cracking" when working with timber? If you use a rubbish can with a rubbish bag, it should eliminate the spills when emptying the Hoover. I don't know if pressure treated timber is available in the UK but, that is what I would use for the floor joists. (I am in the US).
That motor is mounted way too low in the water Never remove, install, or transport an outboard with cables connected. Things break and replacements can be hard to find and expensive
Priscilla I loved the "LOOK"... it was too funny but thing is just how big a mess would you have made doing it by yourself.... 🤣🤣 You may have said in the past but why don't you have a regular engine?
A suggestion, why don't you move the bracket for the levers to the tiller then you can steer and control the engine at the same time. Also no deck obstruction or cables to trip over.
Hey guys!..... just so you know next time you have to pour things into a bag.. put bag in a bucket first..... pull bag over sides of bucket and pour inside bag...... then pull top of bag together and take the whole thing out dispose of bag in bucket take bucket back and do it again?? just trying to help you all.
Such a shame someone left the locks open and drained them, so thats the reason you couldn't get further on. Any news on the windows yet? Or are you just getting the glass and fitting them?
We believe it was also due to one lock that was leaking and in need of repair. We have spoken with the window company so we should have an update this week
You might want to get a used diesel engine preferably a 6 cylinder and matching transmission for that thing the heavier it gets the more that puny engine isn't going to push anything might want to get a couple hundred gallon tank for it as well
If you have not got a 2nd microphone for the person being filmed, please buy one so that we can better hear him. If you do have a second microphone- please use it especially when outside.
Canal boats need to float. There are too many sections of canal that have shallow areas close to the bank. They need to draw as little as possible. Being already a heavy old wide beam it needs all the buoyancy it can muster. Ballast isn't needed for stability like a yacht.
There's a condition that can be quite dangerous called welders lung (Siderosis), it comes from inhaling iron particles, you can get it through inhaling rusty dust 😕 i know in your case its only short term so you should be ok, just thought i would mention though 🙂 still makes me so angry to see all that glass, you wouldn't be disturbing thtat dust if it wasn't for those little shits 😕
Yep, they told me about the welders lung back in 76, when I was an apprentice plater/welder. Smokin 15 rollies a day back then. 65 now, and fitter than ever, haven't smoked for 15yrs. He is carrying a lot more ballast than I did at his age, but don't worry about the welding - lot more things out there more likely to get ya
Tell me that timber is treated it doesn't look level is the hull tanked and tell me you are fitting a sump pump before you put flooring down not one but several pumps are you going to insulate the floor
Hahaha, I love the “look” to camera when the glass was spilled from the vac. Great entertainment! Keep it up 👍
Dust pan and bucket ?
Hahahahaaaa , me too , it said it all .....brilliant .
That look, priceless😂
🙄🙄😂😂
Heartbreaking bagging all that broken glass but with both your attitudes it's moving along as with the floor down the real fun of building a home begins.
Thanks yes definitely heartbreaking but we excited about the progress 🙂
The Vacuum scene. pure Laurel and Hardy.. ha ha PS you should always have a backup sling when moving the outboard to avoid it ending up in the canal
Pricilla's face when Chris dropped the side of the packet allowing the glass to fall was priceless. Chris is in the KAK now boys! 🤣AHHHHHHHHH Borie!!!!!!! No man! I am so jealous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Love your happy postive attitude keep it up you have lots of subscribers who love what your doing 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Thank you so much!!
Those kids that broke the windows have bright future as criminals.
Happy to see a bit larger motor for your boat. Will help it move along better. It appears that you have heaps more work to do before you can move in it on a permanent basis not counting any more vandalism occurring. Best wishes and hopes for better luck.
I love your channel. You both are real and lovable. Thanks for taking us along with you
Great look when Chris allowed the stuff to spill out of the bag!

Thanks we working hard now on the inside so lots more videos on there way! His colouring is called silver dapple, he's definitely unique 😀
Hi guys brilliant work, don't forget to tie a line from your engine to your boat, just in case
Thanks for that's a good shout definitely some want it falling in the drink 😁
@@DuoVagari maybe a chain and lock also,just a thought
Nice Boeries!.. made me hungry. I can just imagine the smell of the fire and wors on the canal
Your look at the camera said it all. X
Hi guy's , coming along nicely . Once you get laying that floor down and the boats skeleton starts to disappear it'll take on a whole new perspective and that horrible blip weeks ago will become a distant memory ...........onwards and upwards .
Hard work, You will get your reward with a beautiful boats, Keep it up You two You are going great guns
Dave and Elaine ❤
Don’t forget to put in beer and wine storage 😂😜
Great Video your getting better at creating them now so polished too my Niece lives on houseboat up near five rise Bingley west yorkshire .
Myself and my wife adore you two beautiful people. Can't wait for the progress xx
As soon as i saw the flipflops and them struggling with the engine, i thought this isn't going to end well 😮
Most people in Australia go boating with there flip flops lol

Yesssss! Boerewors! Made my mouth water, Enjoy!
Good luck going forward
I'm not even South African, and my mouth was watering, thinking how good that looked 👍

Chinese subtitles? lol, keep going, loving it, bet Henry is laughing his arse off...................

Great to see you are continuing to make good progress ,and well done on tying the knot recently.
Love the music , and your enthusiasm 👍
Good video that look would freeze butter your progress is coming on nicely well done 😊😊
'The looks', you don't need any words.
Stay positive and keep going 🎉🎉🎉
me gustan sus videos y su trabajo saludos desde NC Raleigh
From past experience a super heavy chain and padlock on the outboard motor would be a good idea ,unfortunately people love to snatch and grab them. Nice looking work.
Nice to see the power bank coming in handy.
It’s well clean the boat 👍🏽
When will you paint the floor joists before installing the flooring to protect the wood from moisture?
Love the content, you should get yourselves a nice high thrust prop for that outboard. Maybe even a 4 blade it would get you setting off much quicker 👍
10.30 Now that you are spliced you will have to get immune to that look Chris😊🇬🇧
Yes definitely 😂
Keep up the good work guys, maybe get some work boots
Two advices you can skip:
#1 put the plastic bag in the vacuum container and let the debris come directly to the bag
#2 hang some fabric (curtains?) from the ceiling to prevent echo in your workplace home
Definitely her fault when the glass spilled lol
Love the look 😂
slowly getting there
Good job guys 🎉
Dude, you got “THE LOOK”
Good choice with the country music. Starting to take shape
Good to see you back making progress.
Try inverting the plastic bag over the tub, then rotate both 180 degrees - that saves overspill. 😅
Put the bag in the vacuum. Lol! Are those taggings from the kids that vandalized the boat?
Hey, if you can braai some boeries life isn't too bad. Good luck and lekkerbly!
Hopefully you can convince whoever is supplying your power supply system to let you use their largest power bank for your rehab of your wide beam. 🎉

Now yes! You can now water ski.
Thanks 😊
Might want to weld up some bars on those windows and get a steel door for it

Now that is a proper BRAAI.
Before you put your floor down you might want to turn your bracing through 90 degrees as there's no strength the way you have it?
Hi guys shame about the engine but good progress inside cheers 🥂
That motor is mounted way too low in the water
Never remove, install, or transport an outboard with cables connected.

Priscilla I loved the "LOOK"... it was too funny but thing is just how big a mess would you have made doing it by yourself.... 🤣🤣 You may have said in the past but why don't you have a regular engine?

keep em coming peps

Ppe , I worked in a weld shop . The sparks from the grinder are red hot pieces of metal
Two steps forward, three steps back……bahaha
Things are coming together for you. It's good to see progress being made again. Any developments with the replacement windows?
We have spoken with the he window company we should have an update on delivery this week. Thanks for watching 😀
Tell me what you are going to insulate under the floors with?
Are you guys adding any ballast under the floor?
Another who loved the look but accepted it was a mistake and no negative comment stong positive lady lucky guy lol 😂
A brush and pan? Take 0 watt out of the battery
I haven't been keeping track, but did the parents of these vandal boys make up for the damage?
I think back at the start of this project, you guys bought an inboard motor? Is that still the plan?
Lekker wors roll!😂
👍
Why didn't you fit the motor control onto the tiller?
Any update on the scrotes who broke the windows ?
Hi Lekker werk die boot worder good

10:26 I've seen that look. lol .
At least you could have cleaned the filter off before putting back 😱
did the young bandits pay for the broken windows
What type of balist are you going to put down?

Treat your lumber before installation….
PUT THE RUBBISH BAG OVER THE VACUUM CLEANER LIKE A SOCK TURN UPSIDE DOWN LIFT THE VACUUM CLEAN UP SLOWLY AND THE BAG WILL FILL UP ? JOB DONE ..... 😮😂
Who is the music Guy's !!!
Why not put trash bag inside vacuumed cleaner it works in mine?
@@konradweniger3141 thanks for the good tip we will have to give that a go 😄
Maybe get a new tape measure 😂
Question, did they "the law" ever track down the vigilantes that broke the windows out and Make their parents pay for the damages?

Not he's fault you should have not poured the glass so fast but from my point for view funny as
that outboard is to deep in the water
