Top ten things that can improve your game in deaths gambit. #1 find feathers, and AUGMENT 90% OF THEM. #2 play blood knight for any discipline, that passive is very nice. #3 go straight for double xp in the middle talent tree, have it by the time u beat the first 5 bosses. #4 always buy the cinder bow early game, ticking burn damage helps tremendously. #5 kill the blood chest to the left of town, that wisp that reduces energy cost by 15 in slot 1 is far more useful than u would think. #6 an archer ranger build is possible, if u go into the buildings in aldwynn, u can find a bow of the damned that has bleed damage. Equip both that and cinder bow to really put the DOT on ur enemies. Can buy archery skills from the archer u save from the prison on the left side. #7 don't forget about the other weapons that are in the game that aren't tied to a class from the start, the hammer and spear are great weapons #8 if u really want to cheese the game just to power on thru, there are 4 talents u must grab. Soul keeper, Soul feather, Soul trigger and unlimited energy. And grab a gun when u reach garde tun. Use wisp to make skill slot 1 cost 15 less. Put soul trigger in skill slot 1. Augment down to 1 feather remains. Pop ur feather by a death statue and without moving an inch, activate soul trigger. Rest at the statue, and voila, for the next 2 minutes u will have infinite bullets and ur feather will be returned because u rested. If the guns are upgraded, even bosses melt. See the disgust for yourself, I'll post a vid if u want me to. #9 thoroughly explore the thalamus area, I forget what it's called. There are many immortalite stones among many other great pieces of armor. #10 heroic boss fights yield immortalite stones and sometimes upgraded weapons and armor, so don't forget to go back and kill as many as u are able to.
#11 Save up 1100 shards to buy the crest from the shop keeper in the sanctuary, use it to go up the elevator, rest there and keep killing the black knight for 240 shards. Voila, you be level 30 in a few minutes.

Dead Cells was cool; punishing, but with a quick learning curve. This looks like a more traditional 2D Souls Clone, but I honestly enjoy stuff like Salt and Sanctuary more than completely original ideas at this point in time. Dead Cells is short though, Death's Gambit has been in the work for years, so I expect it to be quite the time dump and look forward to that.
Dead cells is much better. This game, especially when it comes to bosses, is tiring and NOT FUN AT ALL. For god's sake, some weapons have only one attack animation and you can actually complete the game with the starting scythe because there are no others.
jagenmount Dead Cells has a lot more content and replayability at this point in time than Death's Gambit. Death's Gambit is very short, I was able to beat the game (while taking my time and exploring every nook and cranny) in under 8 hours. In it's current state I can't recommend the game. But don't get me wrong, it's good and it has a lot of potential. But it's extremely buggy, unpolished, and severely lacking variety and content at the moment. So don't expect a time dump in the slightest. Sorry to be a party pooper...
My vote goes to Dead Cells. The game's way more enjoyable, replayable and the gameplay's more intuitive. Death's Gambit can be played in about 10 hours while you can spend ~100 hours or more in Dead Cells (there's even a free DLC coming to it and hopefully the modding support will grow even better).
Whenever someone says Death's Gambit isn't fun: "Ugh why must they all be fun? You lack vision." But seriously, this game is fun if you like a unique challenging game with an AMAZING soundtrack.
Love this game, pre-ordered it the week before it came out...it's definitely souls inspired, with a bit of old school action/platformer like Symphony of the Night thrown in, fav game of 2018, easy let's bongo xp
Honestly I love the idea that the pendant in this game actually does something. Instead of being a useless head gear, it does give you a 50% damage reduction when fighting Thalamus. He's not that hard of a boss, but if you had no idea what to do (like me) it is a welcome addidtion.
The uh broken pendant is actually really fuckin useful, despite it saying it’s a miscellaneous items it’s actually a helmet. On a certain boss that I won’t spoil due to story reasons it actually halved all damage recieved
Ive had to take a short break from this game. Aka I rage quit. I just cant get the timing right and Im constanly out of stamina. But that being said it is an excellent game well worth the 20 bucks it cost. Also great video lost. More of these please
Ivan Enfinger I chose the acolyte class....lowest stats of them all, constantly out of stamina.... Now I gain lots of purple by murdering things, so fair enough xp
I just farmed early on and juiced stamina and haste. Took me an hour to get both stats up to 20 and what a difference that made. I became a reaper of darkness and got really good at the game. I loved it just like every souls game it has a learning and timing curve but once you get it, easy as pie!
It could be you just need to "git gud" and fix the things you're doing that are draining you, but it could also be that you're using a play style that doesn't really mesh with how you play. Just something to think about.
Endurance and Haste are important. On my raiding build, I have 40 in both. I could've chose not to level them up, and instead get an extra 67 points in strength, but the 40 in endurance and haste helps me kill bosses more than that extra damage would. The ability to dodge long combos and block effectively is basically the most important thing in the game.

Oh yeah, you look into Shrouded in Sanity yet Lost? I completely forgot that I recommended it to you until I saw this! Also this was good. I just finished it! And yeah the bongo was funny. I only had a sh*tty reccuring problem which is sometimes the game would just crash, like 3 times in a row so save often. BUT an AMAZING GAMR
The only thing that I dont understand of the game its the "fear" mechanic. Idk what it does, but it incrasses when the inmortal "tentacle" enemiges hits you... or something like that

Took me a day to finish it and it is actually far from good. It's a DS clone with a shit tone of bugs that are often times so ridiculous that you start to ask yourself if the game your playing is still an alpha version. The game in its 1.0 state was around 1.8 GB large, the resent update wich only added bug fixes had a size of almost 800Mb so you guys can imagine how flawed the game is. After playing it for another 4 hours after the update was installed to see what they actually fixed ( cause they don't tell you in the PS4 menu ) I had to find out that the game still crashes unbelievably often. In my 4 hours today the game crashed 17 times, sometimes by simply obtaining an item or moving on to the next area. The game has potential and works similar to Salt and Sanctuary but I would wait a couple of days or a week or two until more of these ridiculous errors are fixed cause the game in its current state is BARELY playable/enjoyable. IF they fix it properly, it'll be worth the money
I find the controls lack a certain precision that you kinda need for these kinds of games. So I smashed my PS4 controller in frustration. Now I find the controls SEVERELY limited by comparison. Almost unplayable. Almost.

Don't spam the roll. It cost too much stamina and you don't need it to dodge most stuff.

K, normally I hate when tips videos have a guy trying to be fun with stupid references and one liners, but you my friend are hilarious. Actually enjoyed this video a lot. Even when it wasn't that funny, you weren't annoying at least.
