Hi. Thank you for making this video! So good! I love traveling in Morocco. This winter I want to come and stay for 5 or 6 months. And probably the next year the same.
Would you say it is better to apply for the residency when I am already there? Or should I apply here (in the USA) now, before I come?
What about what Mo said? Has the process changed a lot?
Do you know if it is possible to apply in Essaouira? I'd like to surf in a little village called Tafedna about 100km from Essaouira.

@@surfreadjumpsleep Hi Matthew, thanks for watching. It will depend on your country's regulations but what I would do is if you can get a tourist visa, then apply as soon as you get to Morocco. Make sure to get all your documents ready. For more info check the Moroccan embassy website. I hope this helps.

You guys said that if you get your residence card you have the right to work, I however read on the goverments website that the resident card does not grant the right of work and one has to have it plus a work permit, so could you clear that up for me because I'd love to move there. Also, would it be easy or hard to find work for a foreigner? the competition.. i am an accountant
    thanks again.

Hi Brian, thank you for watching my video. To answer your question, there are eight categories of Moroccan residence permit, so the process will depends on your type or residency and your country of origin. So I highly recommend you consult the government website of your country for more info. Additionnaly the government of Morocco is keen on hiring local employees over foreign workers, so unless you are hired by an international company, it will be harder to find work in Morocco. More info on this website: www.usemultiplier.com/work-permit/morocco#requirements Good luck.

In general, Tafedna is about the most laid back place I've found between Essouirra and Sidi Ifni. Both the people and the lack of police around. I know the police are looking out for our safety, but we never feel threatened and more often it's the police that ask us to go to an official camping, which there is none in Tafedna. What do you mean? Get a tourist visa for India to visit her. Once you are in Morocco, you can follow the steps mentioned in the video. Good luck.
