You used the product the way she suggests. Good job. I’m a 4c girl and I love the mousse-drys faster and big poppa. I do a 2 strand twist and roll the end and I can get a good 8 days wear. I make sure I do a deep conditioner with each wash day and just apply the product never using a leave in conditioner. Whenever I blow dry my hair I use her leave in conditioner because its also a heat protector and I haven’t had any heat damage at all. So far everything I have purchased works great for my hair.
Ann Benn, if you use this product and you did a two twist strand. However your twist should have last longer than eight days. When, I get my twist done it last for four weeks.

I’m a 4c girl and I got like 4 days with the mousse only. It definitely needs a creme underneath I think. But it gave everything it was supposed to for those few days. Good review. Both products worked great for you.
I use UFD as my base gel under both the Big Poppa and the Mousse Def and with that I am able to get 5-7days depending on what activities I get into that week.. I think I have started leaning towards the Mousse Def these recent month, but idk how that will change with the weather getting a bit cooler here soon..
@@wphill100 I don't use oils, butters, or creams in my routine what so ever.. Haven't in a year now and my hair has never been healthier.. I follow the steps layed out by my curl specialist, and it has been a game changer.. It takes 1.5hrs to wash, style, and set/dry my hair which lasts for a week and u have shake and go hair in between.. No more extra step, just my botanical gel in the shower after my conditoner is rinsed out and whatever topper gel or Mousse to style when I hop out the shower..

My stylist uses Mizani Miracle Milk leave in spray and then Mousse Def and I do the same. I don’t care what the say 🤣. I love the Mousse Def though. We also use a lightweight oil over it afterwards and my hair stays shiny and moisturized all week 5-6 days)

I need to try the big poppa gel. Mousse Def is my go to for wash and gos. I use it alone year around. Thank you for using the Mousse Def correctly. It does last me between washes. I could go longer, but my scalp would probably rebel.
Wow, both sides looks flawless. The difference is The Big Poppa side didn't dry evenly, may need a dryer or diffuser; however the curls looked soft each day. The Mouse Def side...no questions, Poppin!!! Each day. What a hold. I guess I'll have to try it to see if it would work for my Big Chop.
Hey Lia, love this video. I've been eyeing the Mousse Def for a while and I think I want to try it now. Both sides look great. But the Mousse Def!! It looked the best to me. It's going to be tricky for me because my curl pattern is different on both sides and each quadrant. I have 4a on the right, 4a almost 3c in the back entire back, 4b around the sides and on the left...But your video was so helpful and again, both sides look great. No. The owner said these r stand alone products. They have leavin already in the formula. No layering and no mixing UNLESS you want hella flakes. She had TH-cam videos on how to use it.
Why would you need a pre product? If you thoroughly detangle when you have conditioner on your hair you won’t need anything on it before applying Mousse or Gel.

I am going to look over your channel to see if you do a review of the swim turban because it totally has not worked for me and my hair was soaked afterwards basically every time 🤬
I don't know what it is but the mousee makes my hair hard and dry. I see such great results in other people but not for me. The Big Poppa has my hair shiny and soft

I've not ever allowed either of these to air dry.. I'm a hooded dryer girl because I like my sets to be SET when I'm done.. I have type 4 hair, and need to set in the definition and the moisture.. Makes me curious if air drying would be possible with these products.. 🤔 May be trying it this week.. I really am needing that swim tuban you mentioned as well.. That looks clutch af.. Wow..

Looks like the gel side was shrinking whereas the mousse side was elongating. I think I will try the mousse. 😊

I agree…the mousse leaves my hair dry. However when I use their cream first th then their mouse makes a world of difference

The gel broke me out, my scalp was itchy and flakey went back to Curl Max and blue magic

Olaplex #4 and #8 unless I’m doing a wash n go and for that I just switch the conditioner to Shea Moisture Manuka Honey.
