    I have one of those pocket-sized gizmos to play 78’s…, but your produces the sound vastly superior to the one that I have. In truth, I’m impressed with the sound that you’re getting with that little player. Congratulations.

    They were only made for a few years in the 1920s and so are very expensive to buy today. Don't buy the new units made in India.

    They make replicas of those things. With a few modifications (spring, movement, voicebox) othey work quite well.

      The replicas are made in India and they barely work. They don't even pack up inside the tin.

    Nice brown victor I got one of those.

      I thought I saw that the Victor was pressed on brown shellac! I’ve been collecting records 2:52 since 1947, have thousands of 78’s, and have never seen or heard of a brown Victor!!!! New

    I see that the record sleeve on the work surface says 8" record. Is that an 8" on the machine. If so does it also play 10" records (or 12's)?

  • @souravbhattacharyya3392
    @souravbhattacharyya3392 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Is it only for 78 rpm?

    • @maxdrolet6404
      @maxdrolet6404  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes, only 78 rpm!
