@@ThatKidKc722 these kits coke with a in-line fuse on the red wire, which you have to cut to route through the firewall and re solder as I showed, if that’s what you’re talking about?
@ that’s what I’m talking about yeah. I checked when I got back to my car it has a fuse link. I just couldn’t see it as it was routed under the battery. Thanks for All the help man
@@ThatKidKc722 np man, just keep an eye on it over time as I’ve seen a few fail. But it’s not too common. Easy fix too, just gotta cut out and solder a fresh one in
I have a 525 hellcat in my 07Z with the CJM return and single relay. It’s working although the grounds from the relay and harness are not grounded to the chassis. Should I leave it the way it is or ground it? I’m worried to ground it and have an issue since it does run without those two grounds. My fuel gauge doesn’t work not sure if that’s related to that ground or if it’s just bad level sensor
@ yeah I think I will. Don’t think it will blow or hurt anything but the previous owner drove like that for a good few months. I run a single pump but I have what looks to be the same relay
@@nizmospec0012 I’m wondering if those grounds not being connected is why my sending units won’t display a fuel level reading on the dash? It’s just always stuck down on E. But “sometimes” would work. I’d assume the sometimes, was when those grounds made contact with the body?
@@ThatKidKc722 sadly it’s been a pretty common thing that once you start messing with these hangers & wiring, the first the to go always seems to be the level sensors. Hopefully the grounds fix that issue
@@flushlol it’s a much smaller headache with a single pump since you’re still using the oem harness connector rather than pinning a whole new connector and only having to run 1 relay
@@dynamic21 absolutely recommended…all of these aftermarket pumps draw more power than oem pumps so it’s definitely a good precaution to take with a build that you’re already investing money in. If you’re too lazy to do the install just say so vs turning someone away from preventive maintenance.
Very nice video thank you
Did you install or recommend a fuse holder/cable at the battery positive for the power source for the relay?

Hey would this be similar if you are doing a single pump setup (I am installing a walbro 450 with a VHR basket in my HR)
@@flushlol it’s a much smaller headache with a single pump since you’re still using the oem harness connector rather than pinning a whole new connector and only having to run 1 relay
you don’t even need to run a relay with a single walbro 450 in the HR, its probably the best setup for a stock block boosted car - super simple

@ you do otherwise the stock connector will melt
