Benny Hill was amazing!
But in general I must say a lot of filmmakers underestimate the power of music. The scores really help why I love a movie. I can say that for Jurassic Park, Gladiator, Pirates of the Caribbean... and so many other movies that got it right with the score.

Understand, this scene could actually work without music, it's just all about how it would be shot. If this scene carried the cinematography style of Roger Deakins or Emmanuel Lubezki it could actually work extremely well.

Bee Bluesman And remember, sound effects can also win over the sound of music. Think about ALIEN for an example. That movie had some soundtrack moments but let's be honest, it was sound of the ship and the creature that kept everyone on the edge of their seats.
