Must be nice to be in charge of well known Mustang shops and make videos about Mustangs. I would love it. I like to be an employee just to learn the trade and I wouldn't even ask for a paycheck. I hope this doesn't anger you I know you started from nothing and worked your ass off to get where you are today.
not enough gear in my opinion . if she's all out drag car the rear gear needs to start with a 4. 4.30, 4.56 or 4.88. all depending on your tire diameter
I will be swapping my 2008 v6 with a 2016 coyote engine which also comes with the automatic transmission that comes with the driveshaft as well. My question is will the stock driveshaft fit my stock 2008 rear differential assembly?
Axles yes, a spool, weeeeellllll. They are not super street friendly. Fine going straight just a little rough turning sharp slow as both tires are spinning evenly unlike if you have a normal differential. I will be on the street in this, just not that much.
I’ve seen axle splines get distorted/bent after heavy street use in a spool rear end. Takes a while before they fail but where the splines go into the spool they’ll eventually let go. You’ll typically hear the tires skrting when you make tight turns as you might in a parking lot or making a turn into traffic.
Where did you buy the 8.8 rear end at? I live in Texas and can’t find anybody to rebuild my rear end without it making gear whine noise with 3.73 gears.

No you need an 8.8 rear end and I believe an 11-14 driveshaft from a GT. THANKS
Brenspeed okay thanks so the 11-14 gt drive shaft is compatible with the 2016 automatic transmission
I have a set of springs from an 06 Saleen (Red, Eibachs I believe)
Wayde VanVelkinburgh thanks! Not the rate I’m wanting but you could sell on eBay as those are hard to find. They were discontinued.

Do you recommend that rear end setup for someone that drives their car on the weekends? Can you drive it in the streets?

What I am interested in is this rumored budget 3V shortblock?
ndinadis hopefully March.
Can a 6r80 fit in that body styles trans tunnel without modifications?
kraftsman yes it can
I think you should add a Bullitt grill to it though it wouldn't fit I don't imagine.
Daniel Roberson needs a grille for sure
