- My buddy and I get the chance to trade bike for the ride and wow! What a fun ride this bike is! It had a lot more power and accelerated a lot better than I thought it was, turned out to be very comfortable as well.

Bought a 2011 Night Rod special with vance and hynes 2 into 1 pipe and only 6500 miles on the clock recently in NZ. I also have a 2021 Triumph Rocket 3 GT which destroys the Harley in every aspect except the sound but I love the Harley just as much as the Rocket because of the way it looks and feels. To me it's like a classic muscle car on two wheels and makes me smile from ear to ear.

Best Harley they ever made, and they stopped making them lmao. I love my Night Rod. Gonna ride it til it falls apart, and unless Harley brings em back or something similar, I'll probably be grabbing a V-max next. Also, mine has mids. Much better experience imo. Glad you had fun. The power delivery on it is super satisfying.

Have to agree (Tho the engine is a Porsche design). Harley purists hate it!
@@tonydefresnaye7027 I think the fact that Harley was willing to go to Porsche to expand their abilities was one of the best things they ever could have done, it's sad they haven't fully embraced such things. There's no value in making something worse than you have to because you are unwilling to ask for help.

Mine is a 2016. There's no difference between model years. I went from an Iron to the FXDLS and never looked back. IG is Rucinnell if you want to see pics of it! ^__^
HD is discontinuing the FXDLS after this year, so hop on one ASAP! =]
