    So glad you are teaching your daughter... she may not want to own a nursery but she will have the basics down to be a winner in the business world !!

    Great video with lots of good information. Chloe is so calm in front of the camera sharing her thoughts about the nursery. I propagated some hosta's for my own use and they have grown nicely in one year. Believe me they do great when planted in pots.

    Great video! I love Chloe’s interest and energy with the nursery business! I wish one of my girls shared this interest. Maybe it is just skipping a generation! If not, their eyes will glaze over like everyone else’s does when I talk plants! lol We are on vacation and my daughter pointed out a nursery here on the gulf. I said awesome, maybe we can go and check it out! Her reply was “uhhh, no.. maybe you can go!”. Craig, you are so lucky!! Loved the video and God bless your family! ❤

    Short, sweet, and to the point! Thank you for another great video! I really enjoy the way your family work together. I can truly say your advice has worked for me! Thanks to you all, I gained the confidence and courage to just get started. I am going into my 3rd year as a certified Hobby Nursery. I mainly sell online. Each year I have been able to scale up. Not earning much, but I am learning and I see the potential. Thanks again to you and your family!

    Hey Guys, I like to think of you all as my "friends". Following along with you since you backyard in TN. 🤗🌱🌱 I've modeled my Nursery, opened this February 2024, after your advice and videos. Yes, I have had to make adjustments to my clients and I continue to learn who they are, and what they are planting. Living in a quickly growing rural, southern OK community, some plant gardens and others their flower beds. I agree, the annuals I bought in were a convenience or draw, but the profit has been on what I have grown myself preparing from summer 2023. We enjoyed a day of glorious rain yesterday. I didn't let the day go by without doing something, so I prepared the trays for Limelight propagations I am cutting this morning; all thanks to you. 🌱🌱🌱🤗
    God bless and may you continue to grow abundantly 🙏🤗🌱🌱🌱🌱🙏 ps: I chuckled thinking about you guys, I couldn't keep roses in stock😅🤣🤣🌹🌹 And the green giants I bought in from you, did EXACTLY what you predicted. Someone bought all 20. 🌲🌲🌲I'll be buying more than 20 this year! Thanks again 😊👍

    You mentioned finding someone to learn from. For me, YOU have been that person! Thank you so much for all the wisdom you have so generously poured out! I know that I would not be where I am today were it not for your wisdom and encouragement! I had my second repeat customer from last year (my first year) drop by this week. She was absolutely astounded! Last year, all my little native wildflowers fit on two card tables on my driveway. This year, she had to walk around to the side of my house to my two (Amazon cheapo but getting the job done) 10x26 greenhouses, one full of native plants, one full of native trees. She was literally clapping and cheering to see the growth in just one year. I probably have over 1000 native plants ready to go home with folks. But… in spite of frequent FB Mktplc ads, the plants just are not selling as quickly as I would like them to (need them to!). Now I need to start planning for a greenhouse clean house blowout sale to try to sell them all. Thank you again for your copious wisdom and consistent encouragement. We love your family right back!

    Such a great video! Thank you. You have been my #1 go to for education on starting my nursery. My husband and are fully committed a this point in building this out. So far we have trees, and are specializing in willows. I started them all from cuttings, less than a $1 each. We have 7 variates and in total somewhere around 220 trees in various stages; some are just rooted cuttings in water while others are already 4ft trees. All I have is a backyard and I followed your video showing how much you can do in 10x10 ft space. Most are in 1g trade pots. We plan to open next spring which gives us plenty of time to grow these out and get paperwork in order. Anyway - thank you again. I love your channel. I just started following you on IG as well. Best to you all!

    great video! I'm currently in a holding pattern with my nursery. I made a profit this year, but not enough profit to expand. I havent done final count on what I sold vs what I grew, bc that will not be a pretty number, but it was so much better than last year. So, I started a new business that I can do in the off season to pay for my first business. lol

    So I’ve watched almost all your videos and I’ve seen videos on your soil mixture in the past. You said it was just regular ground mulch and then pine bark mulch but it there compost or anything else that you put it in? • @savvydirtfarmer
      @savvydirtfarmer  2 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Sometimes that's a problem. I've only had to deal with it with perennials. They just grow so fast... they really do need a few inches space between pots. Sometimes it just doesn't happen.
