    Great video and Thank You for Sharing. Great Process, every step is well executed and explained. Just a little suggestion on an easier Approach To Separating the Printed image onto the Carrier Sheet. So after your weeding is done and you have them pieced together. place on a flat surface with the carrier sheet(clear material)facing Down, use Squeegee to flatten, and Start pelling the Printed Sheet. start at top corner and peel across to bottom corner. Hope this step is of any help. once again Thank You Happy DtfPrinting.

    Late but in time for the spring. I also use Neenah jetpro soft... transfers are awesome and if you wash the shirts inside out and dry on low heat, colors Will last. But I use 212 epson ink which may make a difference...

    • @TshirtChick
      @TshirtChick  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Back when I first started printing (2008) I used to use the softstretch but you should not have to turn the shirts inside out if it's pressed correctly then streatched right after. You are only printing the ink on there if you weed out the parts that didn't have anything printed on there. I never had to do special washing instructions for softstretch. I actually still have a onsie that I made for my son when he was a baby using the softstretch and he is 13 years old now and it looks like the day I printed it.

I also have the Roland GX-24 that I purchased several years ago. This way of printing is nothing new I was doing this when I first started printed shirts. • @SlowPCGaming1
    @SlowPCGaming1 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    I think it would be more accurate to state you're printing regular CMYK from a canon inkjet printer. The "white ink" you're referring to is just a cutout from the white heat transfer vinyl you printed on. If you really want to print white you'll need to buy a machine that can do that. Either a direct-to-garment dye sublimation inkjet printer that has CMYKW or a dye sublimation laser printer from UniNet which also has CMYKW toner, is a 2-step process, but also prints neon colors, UV colors, gold, silver colors, clear over coat for protecting prints and as a spot color, prints security toners that are used with special detector pens (great for making security badges, tickets, so forth.
    Both aren't cheap. But only the laser printer means you don't ever get clogged print heads, don't have to maintain a certain print volume, can easily hot swap your toners, has a way higher print yield and lower cost of operation overall, with vastly superior printing and finishing options. Now that Stika cutter is cool. I was going to get something like it from Roland until I saw the flexibility of the Brother Scan N Cut DX series. A total game changer.

    Can you just mirror print then weed and flip it over and press? That would eliminate the transfer paper.

    • @TshirtChick
      @TshirtChick  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you do it that way you will be printing the shirt with the with the printed design facing down so the back side of the design (the white side without anything printed on it) would be facing up and it probably will not adhere to the shirt because it would be the the opposite of how the instructions say to use it and may not even stick to the shirt.

    I’m thinking of getting a DTF because I never really liked sublimation. I never could get my printer settings the way I need them. I use a sub and never got a clean press. I’m still gonna research stage. I have the same image that I’ve been using for approximately three years now.

    Wow so they have transparent transfer paper? I’m learning so much! Once u find out about one thing u learn another ? What’s the difference between this and just using the plain heat transfer paper

    • @TshirtChick
      @TshirtChick  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      This is regular transfer paper that has been cut out and I use a carrier sheet to keep the letters for the words together.

  • @raysmith3824
    @raysmith3824 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    What kind of transfer paper do you use? How many washes can you get out of the transfer paper when you wash it?

    • @TshirtChick
      @TshirtChick  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      All the links for the carrier sheets and things used for the transfers are below the video in the description box. The inkjet transfers don't last that long like I explained in the video. This process would be mostly for one time events. You can make it last longer by not using fabric softener and hanging it to dry.

    Hello and how are you today, first time watching your videos and I must say that I have enjoyed watching your video. I'm trying to start my T-Shirt business , but I can't find the right images. The images that you have on your shirt and with baby cowboy cowgirl , may I ask where did you get those images from?

    • @TshirtChick
      @TshirtChick  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Jeray! The images came from Etsy and just added text. The customer actually found them on Etsy and sent it to me.

    I’m so glad I found this channel. What kind of printer do you have to use and what size is the paper? Did the clear paper that u used to pull the picture up come with the other paper or did u order that paper separately? Thanks again for the video!

    Is that sublimation ink and printer? Or is that regular ink and what paper do you print on? I was going to also ask how long it last on the shirt?

    Can you just press the transfer paper instead of transfering the design? what printer do you use and where do you design your prints

    • @TshirtChick
      @TshirtChick  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes you can just press the transfer paper but if you have words you will have to line each letter up in the correct place which would be a pain to do. I design in photoshop mostly. I also buy designs that are print ready from a couple of places. I will leave a link for one of my fav places to buy designs. You can get access to everything for just $1 for the 1st month and $19 a month after www.creativefabrica.com/ref/1459532/

    Wow!! That’s an adorable design!! Really, just brilliantly well done!! Quick ? tho, can I use a regular iron w/a glitter htv vinyl? If not good, do you have any suggestions on any that might be budget & user friendly, for the occasional T-shirt. TIA!!! ~Alli🌸🦋🤓

    • @TshirtChick
      @TshirtChick  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I would not recommend using an iron for items you will be selling to customers. Irons don't have a temperature and HTV needs to reach a certain to adhere properly. You can try an Easy press I think they have temp on there. I have a few videos about starting t-shirt business on a budget that may be helpful.
