One thing i would emphasize is insert the needle with the open end of the eye facing the point of the hook. After you press the mechanism and you see the hook protruding give a little tug on the needle as our demonstrator did in the video to ensure the hook has gone through the eye of the needle. Drape the thread across the barb of the hook. Then release thumb pressure and you will have threaded your needle. Easy Peesy Lemon Squeezy.

Seriously? That thing supposed to help? I tried 20 times and got it done 3 time only. I am shocked about all the reviews. This think is not quick and easy way to thread a needle. It is very frustrating.

You drop the needle in the tube. If the eye of the needle is in the correct orientation, the hook can be pushed through the eye of the needle to the outside of the threader. If you can pull the needle up, the hook isn't through the eye. Try again after turning the needle slightly before dropping it in the tube. Then you wrap the thread on the hook. When the hook is drawn back into the threader, it's also pulling the thread through the eye of the needle. Pull the needle up and make sure to grab the thread loop so your needle is threaded. After you have done it a few times, you realize that it's not complicated. I found it so satisfying to thread several needles over and over after following this video.

thought this video was helpful, and this review has nothing to do with the video but the ones I received are so flimsy they broke after first use or I couldn’t get the needle back out. Total chinese made junk. Save your money, buy a quality one or get a magnifyer.
