I never can find my threaders when I need them. Could be simplified to, “get a scrap piece of paper, put the thread at the fold, cut at an angle…” but this is a great hack i will actually remember and use.
Age old remedy... wet the tip of the thread to make it straight and stiff then aim it at the needle hole. So simple, no waste of time, effort, and paper. Save the forest😂
Excellent lesson in how to make a simple task unnecessarily complicated. Tear a page? From a notebook? CUT the paper? Puhleez. Grab a post it or something less wasteful than a whole blank notebook paper and use the principle of this hack but not the silly steps
1. Cut the tip of the thread at an angle 2. Moisten the ete of the needle 3. Thread the needle, the moisture in the eye of the needle will absorb the thread You're welcome! 😊
After you have threaded 17 needles, take the 17 little balls of paper, dip them into bicarb, then boil them lightly in a pot with water, four spinning eggs and 8 cups of shaved soap. Use four eyedroppers full of rice water to ensure the mixture is environmentally friendly. Allow to boil dry, remove from pan, and cut into 83 asterix shaped pieces to be used in your toilet/garden/kitchen/dog kennel/potted plants/or for dinner with a tossed salad and some béarnaise sauce.
take the thread, fold it over the needle and hold it so that your finger nails are right next to the needle. remove the needle and you are left with a small, doubled piece of thread between your fingers which can easily be placed through the eye of the needle
I usually take the end of the thread and put it in my mouth to wet it. It keeps the thread straight and stiff long enough to stick in the eye of the needle. No need to waste a whole sheet or paper.
I just take a very narrow piece of scrap paper, about 2" long, fold it in half and put the folded end thru the eye of the needle. I puh on the fold to make an opening between it and the needle and p the thread or yarn in the opening I've made. I pull the whole thing back thru the eye and needle is threaded.
Oh my gosh! Is this a competition in how to take forever to do a simple thing? Just straighten the thread with your lips, and thread it! Trouble? Switch the needle with a bigger eye.
Excellent advice
Sometimes help is necessary
Well done indeed
Or...you can use some nail polish to stiffen the tip of thr thread then thread the needle.
😮😮thank you
That won't help when long sighted people who have difficulty in seeing the fine thread and hole easily and guiding the thread through!
I love this- especially with very small needles!! And , my eyes are very old!! Thank you

Me too since I’m 70 and don’t see that well
Thank you ❤

That what I do everytime I sewer. Easy n simple.
s is brilliant. i never would have thought of this idea. my eyesight is terrible and takes me a long time to thread a needle. thanks for this

You're welcome! 😊
That's so unnecessarily useless... Why waste a whole paper for something so simple?
I think the same things. I am seamstress, and I think it is too complicated. It faster thread it directly.
Even if you have difficulties threading directly, you just need a small piece of scrap paper for this to work.
All ideas are welcome when your eyes start to go.
I have such a hard time threading needles... I usually give up!!
Please get an eye exam if you're having trouble threading a needle!

This is perfect but imma substitute with remoulade sauce.

Crazy advice Much easier ways to thread a needle than to go through all that. Wow.

How ingenious & simple 😂 sometimes the simplest idea is just a “tip” away :) Thanks so much.. 👵🏼Lani
Wow!!!! Cool! Thanks
I tried this and it didn't work! The paper just bends when you try to pit it through the needle.
That’s perfect if you can’t locate your sewing eye Susan ❤
Ive got to try this
That too much info. I just lick the thread.
Sometimes, you should not post a video
Just buy a $1 needle threader..super easy..
No hay que hacer tanta cosa. Con un pedacito de papel haces eso mismo. Yo lo he hecho. Es práctico para la gente mayor. 👍
Good idea❤
Thank you
No one remembers a hack when you need it. Buy a bunch of needle threaders; they are cheap.
Good idea.
Thank you❤❤❤❤
Sweet 👍🏼😍
I just put on my eyeglasses to do it.
That's great 😃
A better way is to thread the needle into towards the thread instead of pushing the thread through the needle.
Thanks for the tip but wasting a whole sheet of paper wasn't necessary.
Lick the end of the thread. Run your fingers over it to stiffen. Insert thread into needle.
Oh my gosh! Is this a competition in how to take forever to do a simple thing? Just straighten the thread with your lips, and thread it! Trouble? Switch the needle with a bigger eye.
That's simple???😅
Wet the eye of the needle with your spit instead of the tip of the thread. Insert the thread into the eye of the needle.. It works better somehow.
மூட்ட பூச்சியை கொல்லும் நவீன மிஷின்,..😂
😅 where is the eye needle that it comes with. A tiny medal eye threat. It's free when you buy a package of needles.😅😅😅
Got it ❤
Buy a needle threader. Cheap and lasts forever
No sheet!
If every needle had such a BIG hole then there wld be no need for all this
Or, and hear me out, you could just buy a needle threader. 😂
Next buy a threader there everywhere that sells tread. But a few.
Wastes a huge amount of paper. I think a needle threader will be cheaper and more efficient.
Or use a needle threader.
Brilliant ❤
Somewhere tree in forest: mother*****
Never saw such stupid kind to work like the first one try to get the yarn into the needle
Wasteful use of paper when so many other options exist😢
Such a big sheet of paper is wasted
Or you can purchase a needle threader that will last you many years.
That is simple for you?😅
What a lot of malarkey !!!
Not bad
Used too much paper
OR BUY A NEEDLE THREADER FOR $1😂
Put cheaters on to see eye of needle!
Waste a perfect paper ..
Nou ja, simpel.
Seriously!!!!
Just buy a f-_+&+ng needle threader!
Or you just use a needle threader 🤪
Soooo complicated
Aaaannnd.....enter ADD. Good bye.
So Wasteful! There is a such of a thing as a needle threader.
Wastage of paper
Doing too much.
OMG that is not simple
Sad, really really sad
