Honestly. Now that I think about it. I think they used this thick blue string, just so you'd be able to see the technique they're using better :) makes more sense then actually fixing your pants like this haha. Smart!
Used to be. When I went to school girls had to take two years of home ec. and boys had to take a year each of shop class and auto. That was before toxic feminists came on the scene.
@@DoubleDogDare54 I think everyone of all genders should take home ec. Cooking, cleaning, and sewing are not something that just girls should learn. I blame toxic masculinity for why boys don’t learn to basic life skills.
@@godzilla964 Then, to have equality, girls should be required to take classes on auto maintenance and repair, learn how to do home repairs, use power tools, table and band saws, welding, plumbing, simple electrical repairs and other handy things Dad or a husband would normally do. Of course, the ladies would have to ditch their fake fingernails, tie back their weaves and risk getting electrocuted, but I blame Toxic Femininity for the fact they aren't required to learn how to change a flat or operate a welding torch as a basic skill of life.
My grandma learned how to sew in school. She knows mending, embroidering, smocking, and all sorts of interesting techniques. I wish we still had those classes.
My mom taught me to see when I was a kid. It’s come in handy over the years, buttons, holes, tears in clothes. Even learned how to use the sewing machine to make a few bean bags. That was the 80’s. I like fixing things and sewing is just another skill. But I’ve seen a few of these fancy ways to sew up rips in clothes and I wanna try it myself. It looks cool when it’s done, so why hide it? I’m gonna try on my ripped work pants. Thanks!
Im 28 and have watched vids on hand sewing. Ive patched a few things so far and even though i dont get fancy like this i still really like the look it gives. It gives me end of the world vibes where we all walk around with patched up clothing with random things used as patches. and some make shift clothing made of rubbish.
it's not a ladder stitch. it kind of started off as one, but the point of a ladder stitch is to pull the thread after sewing so that the repair is invisible. the repair in the video is meant to be visible.
There is a wave when I learn that if you take a colour and drawing for a sign and put in first on top of the both of sign and then mean something like that wall be easier for sign saying that makes something that any sign can create it such as you can make hot and start an old thing, so
I mean, it’s a very literal “ stitch” here… can you show how to sew it tightly and discreetly, maybe with thin clear string or the blue of these Jeans? Make them look like there was no cut
They used a thick thread and bright blue as a demonstration to see it better. In real life you flip the clothing inside out and use the same color thread and it wouldn't be seen at all.
"Mom, can you just fix it regular? Kids keep tearing up my clothes to see what you're gonna do next."
😂😂😂
😂😂
*tears shirt’s sleeve* I WANNA SEE WHAT YOUR MOM DOES NEXT! >:3
Awwwwww you have a really sweet mom and curious friends 😂
The mom will sew their hands together next

Hello there beautiful
Such an important life skill that’s not taught in schools.
Used to be. When I went to school girls had to take two years of home ec. and boys had to take a year each of shop class and auto. That was before toxic feminists came on the scene.

@@godzilla964fucking thank you. Jesus folks want every freakin opportunity to shit on women.

Knowledge, craftsmanship, creativity = valuable, important and impressive skills.
Thx
Thank you
I love love the step by step and thick thread to show detail. Thank you!
this is so pretty! i've had a tear in my shirt and i did this with pink and it looks super cute, thank you!
If only holes in real life were this neat.
Well it is for my pants since that’s where they connected the pants…. Now I have to sew 2
The slow movements really helped follow. Few other videos I watched were too fast to understand what's happening.😅❤
Love the music,so relaxing.

After so many videos finally I learnt from u...🎉🎉
If you make it purple and do a BUNCH you could have a lavender bush and hide the hole even more while having cool pants
Thank you for showing slowly!
Can you specify what type of needles / thread weight you are using for this fabric please? Thank you kindly ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜❤️🧡💛
it's for demonstration purposes only
That looks so pretty! I know it’s done like this to see it better (thanks to another comment), but I quite like how it looks.
So relaxing! Thank you for sharing!
Would this also work on a rip in the middle of a couch cushion? Its not removable
What size thread are you using? Type?
Does this work on leather? I have a tear in my jacket but the inside is lined so I'm not sure if I can put a patch under it
how do you double up the string at the end of going over it once??
I'll do this! Thank you!
Thank you.
why u cut the footage, i can't follow it
What type of thread is this?
Thank you
Love the music!

And here I just wanter to fix my pants! Omg what is this?! Is this how you SUPPOSED to do it?! Freakin’ next level!

Is there an app for this?.... not for me to learn either. I mean I need to set my phone on the hole and in 10 mins it'll look like that
As a man who constantly tears his work pants in the crotch area, thank you for this
😅lkyorvoskmeinnn!u8uiji
What type of thread is that please? Anyone?
Can’t see where the needles going sorry if you only show the thread, it’s impossible to follow
Bravooo 👏
I want learn
How do you tie it off? I'm trying to learn how to fix my clothes.
Thank youuuuuuu❤
Are the pants inside out?
Thank you love you so 💗 much 💖 🎉my friend 💖 GOD BLESS YOU AND JESUS WILL BE WITH YOU ALWAYS AND FOREVER 🎉

Brilliant ❤
The last part was not explained properly. Messed up the whole thing
is that a couch?
5.9k videos... now thats a big number

Educational
I was going to ask if that was the lader stitch method but now I'm not sure

@@7juno yeah that's what made it confusing but thank you for taking the time to explain it to me have a good day

Alternate idea: duct tape.
Thats so cool
Thank you for the slow video, so we can follow how it is done.
Super super😊
Part 3080🤯🤯😵💫😵💫😵💫
For some reason this reminds me of Tell Me Why, the Beserk 1997 opening song lol
I don’t even own clothes and I enjoyed this movie
mood
H u h
Cantik hasilnya
I’d give it a good machine darning with a bit of a patch. That’s not going to take stresses as well.
Nice 👍
Salvou o tecido. Gostei muito. Obrigada bom dia!

Jeans? Make them look like there was no cut
U can still see the thread so therefore it’s not a good way to fix jeans
Thank you i learn to stich at 8👁️👄👁️
putting thread knead also show
Idk how to still it keeps skipping
Maybe some other them buying "Book Sewing" shop..rightly but I was visited see (Book Sewing)..
Why not simply sew it properly, without the need for the embroidery scar…?
They used a thick thread and bright blue as a demonstration to see it better. In real life you flip the clothing inside out and use the same color thread and it wouldn't be seen at all.
amazing😨
