    It is that time of year again that companies are dropping their new motorcycles.. not everything is always worth talking about but in this case a good amount of ppl have questions about the 2024 @harleydavidson Road Glides and Street Glides also a little about the CVO motorcycles!
    I'm Ridingfish,
    I ride an @Indian_Motorcycle Pursuit- I bought it at INDIAN MOTORCYCLE OF St. Paul. They are my home dealership, but as you find on my channel, I have worked with many different dealers around the USA.. My favorite thing about this TH-cam thing is that I love growing the motorcycle community! Meeting and hanging out!! Ride Hard,

    100% Fish my brother. Love the look and performance tweaks of where HD is slowly going. I think Indian stimulated these “complacent show up and collect a check team members” into a focus driven objective. This brand is responsible for all we know about an awesome 2 wheels life style. Alway appreciate your enthusiastic and inspiring contributions. TNO/2A.

    What they don't tell us yet: Don't be shocked when you attempt to trade in your current bike for a 2024 only to find it's now worth $3k to $6k less than it was before the reduced price 2024's came out!! By the way Hill hold Assist is an OPTION to the RDRS and Car Play only works after you buy the Cardo headset! There IS A SURCHARGE for HD maps/traffic & weather; $350 for 3 years.

    • @Ridingfish
      @Ridingfish  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      There is two kinds of hill assist.. one in gear that comes standard and one with neutral and that one is an option.. There is a few little things.. also the loss of trade in.. i did not think of that!

      Truth !
      The CVO ST is going to be the one compared to Challenger Elite. As is now, I still think base, dark horse & limited beat their H-D counterparts for price & what you get for them.
      CVO vs. Elite has not been much of a contest till now...

    Does Harley still direct blow-by out through the air filter like it did on my 2017? Does the engine oil still migrate to the clutch? Does the oil still get filtered after the oil cooler? A poorly designed engine is a game changer for me and why I sold it and have been considering the Challenger.

    Great short reviews. I also like the Street Glide fairing better than the new RG fairing (don't like the look), but prefer the extra space and fixed fairing. Did they fix the problem with the SG instability over 100mph? Kind of a big deal IMO. Can't wait to see the CVO ST. If that one was priced about 5k lower, I might consider a change from my Challenger.

    Great job on this one Fish, Im on the edge of buying a Elite Challenger. Do you, as I still feel the Indian is far and away the better bike and value. The handling facts alone are game changer, the lbs dont tell the story. You have to hoist the HD up from the side stand, the Indian is a one handed slight push to get it straight up. Thank you for your input, as the Elites are going fast.

    Great video as always! I know Pencil Measuring comments are coming on this as well as other youtubes regarding the new Harleys and Indian Motorcycle---However, I think the new Harley big bikes (RG/SG) are right on the money and Harley did a great job this year. Extremely and pleasantly surprised at the pricing, which beats Indian with the RG (too bad the dealerships will set out the door pricing that will make them more expensive than Challengers, which still have better suspension FRONT and rear from the base Challenger to top of the line ones). It's great to see that Indian Motorcycle (despite Harley only fanboys denial) pushed Harley to develop a great product this year. Either way guys go with Indian or Harley...you can't lose on either platform outside of which dealership will 'Fleece' you and which one won't.

      @@Ridingfish interesting. I just got an 23 Indian pursuit limited premium in September. By far the best bike I’ve ridden and owned. For me a total joy to ride. Even around town blasts. Ive mostly had Triumph motorcycles. My latest a Rocket 3. A fun novelty of a Beast. Not so practical. That being said these new Harleys are really catching my attention. Just out of curiosity would you trade your pursuit in for any of the Harley’s. And why or why not? Not that I’m even considering that. Just curious. I havent tried any of the new 24 Harley’s. In general Harley never did it for me.

      @tlong9812 I have not rode the ST CVO, So I'll just leave that alone.. because who knows... but for the other models.. I would NOT, in a nut shell the CVO is the top of the line and it has EVERYTHING the lesser Challengers have but the suspension still isn't as good.. I have rode it.. but even the states 3 inch of rear travel vs 4.5.. I mean they where two!! Still way behind Indian Motorcycle Thats not even talking about mono shock... also I person LOVE the windshield it is a game changer I almost use that more then the throttle!!! The 117 is nothing compared to the 108.. and the 121 (none ST CVO) IS CLOSE.. but I really felt like the power delivery to the ground is better with the IMC... the non CVO doesn't have locking bags. And the front suspension on a none CVO ... WELL PLEASE..The basr Challenger has the front suspension of their CVO.. 🤷‍♂️ 🤷‍♂️. Just a couple quick thoughts

      @@Ridingfish well said. This was my hunch about the Harley cvo and standard road glide and your points just clearly confirm it. And once i put some tab pipes and stage one. And possibly Lloyd’s tune. That pursuit will be that much ahead of the Harleys. Any suggestions you have id gladly appreciate. Also, the cvo st while looks the best in my opinion. To me i like the ability of two up for my wife and son. And high reving to get the power is not so much how i ride consistently. Well I’m in the 4 to 5k rev range mostly. Not sure if that’s night or not. Ha. Ive also talked to Harley owners who complain that they are always in the shop. Where as Indian has far fewer issues. That being said. I love the Indian man.
