I love this, terrific driving to you both! I believe the biggest issue of the 2010 WRX STI is what I've dubbed the snap understeer at fault of the TCS. You can most prominently see at 4:34 where the driver of the WRX performs a perfect transition only to have the car suddenly understeer and require a momentary lockup to clear the corner efficiently. A great feature to have offroad where the soil is loose and AWD can cooperate by dragging the car out of the corner and maintaining traction however not so good on a grippy surface. Also the Evo is lighter :D
All your transitions (or kansei dorifto) are so smooth, the way you effortlessly load shift around corners with different inclines and cambers is very pleasing to watch.

Looking at the cars’ movements I can tell the Subie is a bit more tail-happy than the Evo, it seemed to be a bit quicker on straights as well. They performed pretty much equally, each has its own “habits”. Sometimes you want more oversteer, sometimes less. If this were a cat and mouse run, the Evo would’ve won because it managed to keep up with the Subaru.
@@ej22_gc86 i already have blob eye and hawkeye mod but it doesn't handle pretty well and feels really unrealistic. Only this evo 8 and sti hatch are the best evo and sti mods so far

Its not the powerslides themselves but the shear control and restraint needed to consistently pull them off in a row.

@TedFromYT The traction control makes the WRX STI understeer too much and is only race worthy on a loose surface.

Whenever the sti wants to pull away, the evo seems to just get right back on him...
