I met Ed Helms too, about 6-7 years ago. I got roped into watching my 3 month old niece while my sister got her hair done. So there I am, sitting in the waiting area of a hair salon with my niece, and who walks in but Ed Helms.
I was nervous as shit, and just kept looking at him as he read a magazine and waited, but was too scared to say anything to him. Pretty soon my niece started crying, and I'm trying to quiet her down because I didn't want her to bother the Nard Dog, but she wouldn't stop. Pretty soon he gets up and walks over. He started running his hands through her hair and asked what was wrong. I replied that she was probably hungry or something. So Ed put down his magazine, picked up my niece and lifted his shirt. He breast fed her right there in the middle of the hair salon. Chill guy, really nice about it.

Maybe Renner doesn't feel comfortable giving a review that could potentially harm a small business? He was generous about giving out the pizza though.
Exactly, he literally says "Sam's here in my stead." For those who don't know what that means, it means "she gets to score on my behalf." He pulled her in, asks for her score, and later refuses to give a score because he gave her his number already. She was having "the best day of her life" so he went with it.

Just watching Sam eating pizza in the center with the look of pure happiness makes this video a thousand times more enjoyable. And her reaction to recognizing Ed halfway through the interaction was perfect. Jon Hamm saying "how much were you paid to do this?" I am assuming was due to her not recognizing him(which is hilarious). If you know who he is then his face is very recognizable, and he has been in a lot of movies, but many are supporting roles and many are movies that a girl her age wouldn't be interested in; just based on scrolling through the titles of the films he has been in... So it isn't that shocking that she didn't immediately recognize him. Jeremy Renner had sunglasss on and I could also see her not watching his films; his movies are like 90 percent geared towards people who like the action/thriller genre. Sam stole the show here, was so excited but also capable ofgoing along with what they were doing.👍

It's insane how popular these pizza reviews have become for Pres. One of the reasons he's so good at what he does is that he always maintains his compusure no matter how famous the person is and he definitely seems always make ppl feel strangely comfortable around him...he's just an easy dude to talk to. Ppl can talk about Pres/Barstool selling out since the NY move until they're blue in the face, the content has remained the same for the most part. They just get bigger named celebrities to take part in their shenanigans now.

I thought the same, but it makes sense, like others have mentioned. You and I have seen Mad Men, but most people haven't, so they won't randomly recognize Jon Hamm (and with the glasses, I'd be hard-pressed to recognize him *myself*). Jeremy Renner would make more sense, but he also played a small role in the Avengers (as well as various other roles in smaller movies).
Whereas Andy was a pretty big role in the Office, and Ed Helms became famous from the Hangover movie, so he was a big name at the time. Right after being in the movie, he became the "boss" on :The Office," so he became a pretty recognizable face.
The laughter after the smell joke was as genuine as Hollywood.

"The pizza gets a June 15" is a PERFECT example that man, these guys DO NOT want to be here. Even the ever delightful Jon Hamm seemed pretty mellow. I get it that they have to do the PR circuit to promote the movie, but the guests on One Bite recently have seemed really nonplussed by being there. I can only imagine that their agents are pushing hard for this, because I seriously doubt they don't enjoy being around El Pres.
It's called a junket when actors do a bunch of press/interviews/talk shows, whatever to promote movies.
It's called banter and it's part of the reason why El Pres is funny. He is messing around with them and they take it so literally they seem to have no sense of humor.

I've never watched El Pres before, but it's clear that these guys are trying to stay humble for the "interview," while simultaneously being bored with it. Which is totally normal, and is really nobody's fault. Like you mentioned, this shit was probably set-up beforehand (cameras, mics, etc.) -- the girl herself may have been legit, but when you're famous, you don't care as much about making *her* day. You care about meeting the deadline, cuz you gotta be across the country in like 5 hours for another interview. Even on some of the "Hot Ones" videos, you can tell that the actor is just there as part of the standard "junket." It's not the actor's fault, nor the interviewer's fault. It's nobody's fault -- but yeah, their reactions all seem pretty "real" here -- and by "real," I mean they don't give a shit about the interview, cuz they have a million others to get to.
