I also learnt a few mistakes to avoid. 1. Never add oil on pan before spreading the batter. 2. Kempu chutney is Kempegowda chutney, without that it is not a Karnataka dosa. 3. Add oil and ghee wherever necessary generously. This will also motivate to burn. 4. Lastly, no need to flip the dosa if you are making Masala dosa. Hi sir, I'm really impressed with the restaurant style dosa batter recipe . I'm sure this recipe would come out as expected . I've searched for restaurant style dosa recipe and watched the vedios relating to hotel style dosa but I've not felt anything different because most of them show dosa recipes which will be similar to home made dosa. Thank you for showing the recipe through professionals which is very easy to understand .
@@AmrutaUtnal , this dosa batter is different from what we actually make at our homes. Batter made at our homes contain higher percentage of urad dhal so it'll have a softer texture and tastes different from restaurant style dosas. Home style batter requires less oil ,ghee and butter . But when you make hotel style batter it contains lesser percentage of urad dhal and it requires longer fermentation time if the weather is not hot and humid . Hotel style batter requires more oil , ghee and butter to make the final product excellent so next time when you make hotel style dosa make sure you measure all the ingredients using a digital scale or get all the ingredients measured from your groceries store . Try to use a metal tawa if you have it and use lots of butter for amazing restaurant style dosa .
