Just buy vix at 17 and sell at 30 in 2022.then flip. You hedged your portfolio. Rinse and repeat. Its been working for me for over a year and keeping my portfolio green on red days. This is essentially what the guest is saying about vols

Please share this channel with everyone you know that's into finance. This channel does not get the amount of attention it deserves. The information that was given during this last friends episode was priceless. Unless you were working on a trading floor and had a terminal, this behind-the-scenes information was never given out. Thanks for sharing and giving us the opportunity to become more knowledgeable.

loved the discussion guys. Probably suitable for a small bit during the Tuesday Josh-Mike show: what is the role/effect of social media on the stock market. Staying in SPY has been the right thing to do for forever, but can that fact being force fed by youtubers have an inverse effect? False sense of security?

At this point in requesting a two hour episode where it is solo with JC, Kris, Eddy E., and Tom Lee. I’ve listened to all these episodes myself and my wife has listened to a lot of them and those are the guest we both want longer episodes from through out the year. This is rivaling CNBC weekly content with 1 hour episodes a week. I appreciate Josh going really hard at Cathy Wood this week, she deserves to have tough questions asked to her at this point and Josh did a great job doing that this week. Michael you’re doing a great job asking questions I love your episodes with Ben for Animal Spirits. One request is could we get LIVE episodes of this show once in awhile I think that would be amazing especially if it is announced in advance the viewer ship will be good!

the block trade is the LEAST thing 2 worry about. Id say that the dark pool taking 90-95% of all retail order flow is much more nefarious since they r now running multiple dark pools each & we have a mrkt maker not making mrkts who is also a HF w 28 llc's & a dark pool connect - a mrkt makers banned from Shanghai for years over abusive short selling & spoofing - we have allowed the most corrupt 2 control the mrkt & passive investors who believe they r shielded from this r gonna learn the hard way that the selling of what doesnt exist is the biggest cancer in mrkt & those etfs mutual funds ect r net lenders that have exacerbated this house of cards. The truth is that naked shorting is only a fear by Congress SEC & Govt when it was about saving banks - u can watch videos of them saying how this tactic is illegal ect - its always been but its only illegal when it can topple our institutions. Not sure how the old guard has been ok w things getting this bad but u would b surprised by what some retail knows - they can sit w u & blow ur mind. maybe host a gamestop quant that can out knowledge u in the areas of mrkt that u guys pretend dont exist.

As someone w lots of experience w short reports I can assure u that it’s different than being publicly short or bearish - here is an eg 2021 Cramer pumped biotech SRNE which was in operation warp speed - it was 3 when I bought when Jim promoted how much he loved it the price was 20. Next morning a short report dropped so I sold at 16 which is only bcuz I tracked their twitter feeds & caught it. This was only 1 example where he was involved. There r tons. The idea that family offices & hedge funds can buy a short report & media sentiment while waiting w puts is not how it should work since they r debunked 90% of the time. Only once in a million so u get a Nikola or Enron. Perhaps a halt while they fact check would b helpful so that u don’t ruin a good company w viable business who is growing only bcuz it’s a threat to an already successful behemoth c the issue?
U guys say hedge fund shorts r “targeted” but what u used for ur eg is not a good one since GameStop was in a 9 year short to death to take for themselves w out paying type of short. When Ryan Cohen of chewy bought shares they couldve closed at 7 - when he bought enough shares 2 remove the board they could’ve closed at 18 when the excitement of gamers around the world started buying they could’ve closed. Yet the micro float had over 226% reported short interest (public record on hood suit from their side) which means over 1000% in reality. They NEVER expected 2 pay for the borrows - now the media runs w a narrative that people accept only it’s flawed bcuz I didn’t care who was short I just know that Ryan Cohen is a visionary who has integrity & who is young & motivated regardless that he could retire on his aapl shares alone (6M of them in 2018) his only stock before GameStop which the Ivy League researchers at Melvin capital ignored. Now fast forward a year & that 38B mrkt cap sounds less insane in fact 2 use basic accounting would b 7 x’s sales not counting network value human capital (c suite hires) blockchain team move 2 tech partnerships w msft & Xbox & more - so now the media spends an entire year in a short distort much 2 their dismay we didn’t sell - in fact 80% held from 483 to 40 to 350 to 111 to 350 to 90 to 275 to 88 c the issue - gamers r not interested in finding a new “target” they just love GameStop & refuse to sell
Ur also talking about some of the most educated retail investors in mrkt currently contrary 2 media bias.
U also watched the intro of AMC which trades in a swap w GameStop & where GME shorts hedged & promoted so that FOMO would enter the massive float & not into the micro float where the unwinding of that short is going 2 hurt.
