Terranova is probably the most considerate & polite individual I have ever seen on any stock and market-oriented program. He is smart but also kind. Proud product of Valley Stream! Keep it going Joe. You are living proof that you don't need to be an A-hole to be successful. Josh and Michael, as always, you guys were great in this episode. Loved it. Keep up the good work!
I thought so too but it's also a power move. Listen to the way he asked when the phone rang "do you need to get that?" So much more gangsta than a dirty look out snide comment. Even more so if you genuinely mean it!
Seeing Joe in this setting I found valuable and refreshing. He presented some really good insights in a coherent and concise way. Great discussion all around
I am a software developer, and I have been watching TCAF from episode 25+ I think, I really liked this one, from macro perspective, elections and Cycles and the market. Felt like tip of iceberg from analysis standpoint. Thank you for the content.
Loved this! Josh & Joe T are my favorite guys on CNBC Halftime & the new Overtime show. 🙌Respect🙌 I’ve learned so much from your TH-cam podcasts. Lots of laughs too! 🤣🙏🏻👍
Joe Terranova, thank you for sharing your views and wisdom. Everything good that you've said about Josh Brown, I forgive you. (just playfully joking) Josh and team, thank you for bring him on. A wealth of information and fantastic insights. "The apple doesn't fall very far from the tree"
I didn't know about the The Compound, I spotted JoeT post on Twitter so I immediately subscribed. I am a big fan of JoeT as well as Josh Brown; watching them on a casual setup makes me feel like I know them personally, or at least I would love to meet them personally. Keep up the good content, loved it!
Great show! You need to have more of your CNBC colleagues on. Karen Finererman, Guy Adami, Pete N. Tim Seymour, Melissa Lee, Rick Santelli, David Faber, Joe, Becky, and Andrew from Squawk Box. It's great to see Joe T unfiltered.
This show podcast is the absolute 'Mutt's Nut's'. I have caught every episode since inception and leave everyone either better informed, great vindicated in my viewpoints (most often) and just plain entertained. RHW and in particular the Compound is exactly where I aspire my firm to be and the content we aim to deliver over in the UK. As for our work and client care, well we're absolutely aligned already on that, be transparent, be humble, be there!! Keep at it guys! Wes - IronMarket Ltd, UK.
More compliments from me are not overkill, but you really are nailing this content distribution and ever keeping it fresh, relevant, useful and entertaining! That is hard to do week in and week out. Honestly, it says a lot that I listened to the podcast on normal speed, enjoyed it so much I felt I had to see the charts and I see even the video was 1 hour and 44 minutes, but was good enough to watch again in full, without speeding through. Thank you all for the effort you put into this, really don’t take it for granted what goes behind getting us to be given pause to reflect week in and week out.
Top 5 shows, fir shir. Joe T, Nick Colas, Tony Dwyer, JC Paretz and Melissa Lee, in no particular order. Love love love all you guys put out. Thanks and keep it goin!
Very, VERY interesting observation about the market's performance after the midterms regardless of the election results. Will certainly file this bit of market wisdom for future use.
Love to see Joe Terranova was guest here, his analysis is logical and thorough, like he did in CNBC most of time. And the subjects today are very interesting as well. One thing I would suggest, especially when the show is more popular now. If we can manage the communication style a bit, to let the guests finish a thought, especially if they carry some very thoughtful perspectives/ideas on some key subjects. Feel that sometimes the guests couldn't even finish a sentence before being cut it, and the subjects were shifted to a less relevant direction, the episode with Dan Nathan had a similar situation. Just wish those valuable guests the team has tried to bring to the audiences will add more values to, especially to the loyal base. Nice weekend.
Joe T took a break from selling ice to Eskimos to spend some time in the ‘Pound. Top 5 cast IMO. Especially liked the chart with stock performance after mid terms. Thanks Josh and Michael!
Watching this 11 months later, from 39:50 Joe talks about election cycles and says that best quarters will be Q4/2022 till Q2/20233 *from 1st Oct 2022 till 30th June 2023*. How right he was? 100% accurate prediction. Extra ordinary stuff.
I started with $15 k in ‘19 and turned it into almost $600 k today. I also put in 18 hours a day for two years not having a clue what I was doing. Busting your ass pays off.
With the way the market is moving, we'll mostly hold for longer than 2030 to realize profit gain, I think a video on "How to profit from the present market" will be more effective, I mean I've heard of people making upto 250K within few months and I'd like to know how.
I'm sure the idea of a coach might sound generic or controversial to a few, but new study by investopedia found that demand for portfolio-coaches sky-rocketed by over 41.8% since the pandemic and based on firsthand encounter, I can say for certain their skillsets are topnotch, I've raised over $500k from an initia
Feedback: Mike please stop interrupting the speaker a tad bit, you interrupt just when the speaker is trying to make a point, frustrating for both speaker and listener 🙏 Overall, awesome show, thank you for all the things you are doing for us
I felt so vindicated when Joe said the craziness in BBBY isn’t retail but hedge funds! Dumb Retail is too beat up and smart retail (which has had several articles about them this year) won’t touch it.
You only buy options for three reasons: exercise for more shares, hedging/exposure, or to profit from an increase in the contracts value without the strike ever being reached. He had 60,70, 80 strikes, so either he intended to exercise there, which would vibe with his large share holdings. It wasn’t hedging since the options only made him even more long bbby. People did not think it would be the last possibility, to sell without the option ever being itm, because that would mean he was not actually bullish on bbby. What concerns me is that he knew he had a following, and they followed him from gamestop to bbby. I don’t think it would be hard for someone to show that Ryan Cohen misled people into thinking he was bullish on bbby. The weekend before he sold, he tweeted a response to a bearish comment by loop capital, he wrote letters about bringing value to bbby shareholders. I’m praying for all those that lost a lot of money in this, people on wallstreetbets were talking about taking their lives, it’s very sad.
Hey 👋🏻, I Love You Guys! Love the Compound! Any chance we could get same day news instead of day old news🤷🏻♂️. A lot of people even do live shows, maybe just a couple hour delay???? Please 🙏🏻 . Either I’m still a fan n still watching
Interesting to listen to this, however, retail investors should take this a bit differently. Fund managers will obviously position themselves to generate the best outcome in a given financial year. Retail investors shouldn’t be concerned over the next months … so if you believe in a company you shouldn’t move things around constantly imo…. You can add some stable names or also have an overall ETF position… depends on everyone’s risk tolerance etc

Wow. I was a previous fan of Joe but this episode increased my respect for him even more. Another amazing episode gentlemen! 👏
Great show! Joe and Josh are my two favourite teachers of finance. They both have a great teaching style that is no nonsense and easy to understand.

Long form conversations are so much better. Really liked Joe here but you don't get to hear him this way on CNBC. I had no idea
Joe T took a break from selling ice to Eskimos to spend some time in the ‘Pound. Top 5 cast IMO. Especially liked the chart with stock performance after mid terms. Thanks Josh and Michael!
CNBC should make a 6 part The Last Dance style mini-series about Buffet, Lynch, Munger, and Bogal. Men who built America style maybe?
Episode is tied for the best!
Man, Joe T genuinely sounds like a great guy. When you asked him what virtus was he answered it great. I ’ve held a couple Virtus funds for years.
he truly is - JB
Another awesome episode ⚡️

there are loads of ways to make a killing right now, but such high-volume near impeccable tradess can only be carried out by real-time experts.

Ooo nice, saving this for my 10k treadmill run
great show wish would have gotten into the housing/mortgage convo
Epic podcast
🚀🚀🚀🔥🔥🔥 great show
I thought Joe Terranova came across better in relaxed format than he does on the big screen. Something works.
BOAT etf for dividends. MCH for pros picking China stocks. Great discussion btw!

Everytime Joe says “the market” .. My ears gets wider
Umbrella Academy! I like it too
Lmao at Michael pronunciation of Mesdames. My man said Mes-dah-Mees lol
MB - “Mez-demeez” 😂

Global manager cash levels were high in 2000-01, and the market still sold off for a couple years after that. How do you explain that?
Next bring Farmer Jim and Steve Weiss. On the same POD. Please please please
were could we see joe chart that he brought
So sharp...
