Congratulations 🎉 man! You're bave and not ashame for who you are. I am one of your subscribers I didn't know you were in Tennessee and it was one of the state that I've planned to move and own my house...one ❤ man my regards to your fiance. Salut from Ohio
Hey, man, thank you a lot for this video. Videos like yours really help me (and many others I suppose) to see that there are no predefined traits/interests/jobs and you can be successful in anything, you really are a role model. Thank you.
I think you have the courage, mental fortitude & strength, both physical and emotional to forge ahead. Follow your convictions. Don’t let anyone or anything deter you. Now go and enjoy a good cuppa ☕️.
Congratulations dear. I respect your choice of coming out. Be strong, be gentle with yourself and you are giving a wonderful example to your community. Yours, Frank, Berlin Germany
Congratulations on all your achievements in your career. You are a brave young man, be safe out there doing your job. Don’t give up hope for a better relationship with your parents. Happy New Year to you and your fiancée 🥂.✌🏾
I could not hear anything in the vlog, but I think you are a brave man to work in that type of enviroment. I am sorry about your parents not being able to accept who you are and that is really a terrible thing to go through. Wishing you and your fiance a bright future together. Happy 2025!
Congratulations on navigating through the career journey, and for “ sealing the deal” with your fiancé and be able to live your best life. Prosperous and successful New Year!!! And the continual pursuit of the perfect cup of coffee lol
I’m sorry that your parents didn’t respond well, but it’s more important to live in your truth regardless, just as you are doing. It’s your life that has to be accountable to your future. Parents are given the choice, unfortunately, to walk with you or not. So hopefully they will decide not to miss all of it. Things do change sometimes. ❤ Both of my parents passed away before I got the opportunity to tell them, although I certainly that my father knew from something he once said. I will never know though how it would have been received. Sometimes, I wish that I did know, was it accepted or not. And I don’t have that to hold onto. We only have the lives that were given to us, is something I like to say.
Nice video. Isn't it something how painful it is when your family is not able to fully accept you. There is such a deep wound there and you can see that you are still hurt by this. I hope that your mother has come around.
Congratulations, for having the courage to inform folks about you . I'm sorry that you had to experience that with your mother n the treatment behind it. It's sad that your parents or folks can't handle your sexual preferences. U still a man at the end of the day. It's your life, and the folks n parents need to be supportive .Especially at that age of being 17 yrs old 👍 If you had never stated it, no one would know your sexual preferences. Stay strong n live in your truth. Love youself and love those who ❤️ you💯
glad your command is supportive...was wondering how that worked out considering the environment. my guess would have been that the Marines today would have been more supportive than a southern PD. I am married to a Navy/AF vet, and at the time of his enlistment there was active investigatory action taken against anyone who was suspected of being gay...different world now. hope the 'friend' who outed you realized the breach of trust and apologized.
But u haven't talked about ur coming out story from ur parents side. Wish u make it out as well. Btw, congratulations 🎉 u r the inspiration for many like u. Keep inspiring them. Love from India ❤
I want to say this. You are open minded , which will serve you well in your position as a police officer. Some straight people aren't open minded , and they can let their prejudices affect their views about things. I wish you well .
Interesting story from a very fine respectable man in the police force and community, so if you see me flying through the area in TN, don't ticket me too hard ok lol!!
Interesting story! It was evident that you were nervous whilst putting across your story. Try to employ some practice speaking in front of the camera with your topic in mind for solely building more confidence.
This makes me so proud. Yes. Just a man, first. Really proud of you. And it's an inspiration.
