Tolkien truly created something so special, difficult for me to find words for. Everyone thinks of becoming "undying, immortal" but in Tolkiens world, immortality exists and it is kind of seen as a burden. The gift to men is to be able to die which Elrond saw as a weakness. Arwen saw it as a gift. This whole world of Tolkien is so majestic and difficult to fully understand, I wish this man could have lived for longer and being able to fulfill his work. Nevertheless, I am truly grateful to have the work he was able to write as it reflects in some kind both sides of everything.

It's interesting how sometimes we get so dragged into a movie (in this case a masterpiece) that we, in our minds, leave reality and get consumed by a thought of being in a better place. When I watched these movies countless times, I used to imagine myself walking through Middle Earth and then when my mind returned to reality I always felt empty and sad. Hearing this music makes me go back to that place, I even get goosebumps when I listen to this.
I feel exactly the same in lotr they knew what they were fighting for there was mark between good and evil in these times everything is blurred i wish i would be there i don't belong here..
Can you imagine? All this is the work of ONE PERSON. The whole world, the characters, the places, THE LANGUAGES (3 Forms of Elvish, dwarvish, Mordor-language, and more!!), all with their own history and details. No-one can recreate something as huge as this. At least not without copying from this. Tolkien was a great artist. May the light of all beautiful starts shine upon his soul :)
What I love most about this trilogy is how Liv Tyler’s beauty and grace cast as the most quintessentially perfect Arwen we could ever witness, will live on forever in history. Just as Elrond will remember her in Valinor

Elrond s'posed to be amazingly handsome with an ageless face as described in the books. See how they portrayed Thranduil in the Hobbit series? That's a good portrayal of an Elven Lord. Now in Elrond's case, that guy has a creepy face that is fine for a cyber demon (agent Smith) but doesn't feel like an elf at all. Plus they dropped the ball with his hair, they look so bloody fake
+Hyperperion comparing the books to the film is confusing considering in the hobbit Tauriel doesn't exist and I'm pretty sure Legolas isn't in it and Radagast barely in the book also. It's a Hollywood movie

Arwen's voice sounds at the same time like the last star shining on the silver towers of Minas Tirith, and like the northern wind blowing among the great trees of the Lórien, giving a ounce of purity, just enough to feel the beauty of what might be The Undying Lands... This music is so inspiring, when I hear it I always feel like I must fight for the Good in Our world... Sorry, I always fail to describe how powerful a music is...
You have done a great job describing it..if I can't describe it I just feel it..and wonder if other people feel what I feel..or am I going crazy alone?
But Arwen went forth from the House, and the light of her eyes was quenched, and it seemed to her people that she had become cold and grey as nightfall in winter that comes without a star. Then she said farewell to Eldarion, and to her daughters, and to all whom she had loved; and she went out from the city of Minas Tirith and passed away to the land of Lórien, and dwelt there alone under the fading trees until winter came. Galadriel had passed away and Celeborn was also gone, and the land was silent. There at last when the mallorn-leaves were falling, but spring had not yet come, she laid herself to rest upon Cerin Amroth; and there is her green grave, until the world is changed, and all the days of her life are utterly forgotten by men that come after, and elanor and niphredil bloom no more east of the Sea. - The Lord of the Rings, Appendix A, "The tale of Aragorn and Arwen"
