I don't consider many movies perfect, but this is one of the few movies I actually consider perfect. It was the first movie I saw in theaters that not only left me speechless but it was the first that had me crying my eyes out.

Oh What great chord the music strikes in my heart…music is the greatest force that makes the soul feel like there is a connection to an unseen world above (heaven). Takes you far out of this sphere…

We lost 3 of our brothers and we mourned humming this song. When ever we meet we hum this song with tears in our eyes. This song means to us more than just a movie soundtrack. this is one of my favorite movie and I loved the OST so much!
For me, Gladiator is one of the most epic movies ever made.
This theme to me is haunting, reminds me of mine and my loved ones mortality.
Don't know whether the upcoming sequel can ever match the timeless impact of this film, but if they can recapture a fraction of its magic in a time where the industry has lost course in so many ways, then I'll count my blessings and consider it a success. And this kind of music will certainly help it get there. ❤
