Thank you all so much for the positive feedback! I realize now that I messed up a couple of the siren names in the video. The new, corrected name will now be listed in the video chapters. Thanks again, everyone! If you notice any other mistakes, please let me know :)

Hey Matt, im the kid who hitched a ride with you. Gotta say man, love your Subie and ABSOLUTELY AMAZING ambiance recording of my Sterling! One of the most eerie sounds ive ever heard from a siren.

Ive always respected Cylcones, but after this SC I have even more for them. Amazing how loud it was even from the campsite.
I expcially enjoyed the campsite recording of my Red Arrow. Such an efficient siren design, it sure packs a punch for its size and it sounds great.

I agree. Really unique experience hearing it on 50hz to boot! Makes me want to play with 50Hz on the other sirens. See what they all sound like

Awesome ambience! The 1st STH-10, which is mine, is 3 phase and uses a GE motor from an SD-10. I've been waiting to hear a distance recording!

@@matteng1997 I think I have a great idea for siren con 2024 they should add a Federal SD-10 in the weathered proof housing

Don't think siren con can get much better than this one. Unless some one brings a Chrysler siren or any coded siren besides 3t22s and 1003s or heck a sound master 125 with its goofy ass horns.
And thank you for the ambience of sirencon 2023 they so much cooler at distance!

If it can be successfully removed, I was gonna bring a 6M 4/5 port Thunderbolt either next year or 2025.

(Also the first STH is a 3 phase not single phase)

It will never cease to amaze me how painfully loud cyclones are for an omnidirectional siren. I know it’s massive.. but it still is boggling. Would’ve loved to see one in 10/12.

How far was the ampitheater (and the pavillion for that matter) from the staging area? I only see a distance for the campsite in the description.

😜I always wanted to hear something like this, although my preference is for the distant ambient mode. I'd love to hear...if possible...a Fed 2 vs ACA/ASC T-135 equidistant competition just to get a true idea how massive the difference in output is.
Whelens, ATI's etc. need not apply. ;)

    • @vantaaax

@@jayprotopapas little bit different voice. The P50 is 8/12 port whereas the om-102 is 9 port. on the other hand you could say that to the ACA Banshee 115 and the P50 - same voice with different output.
