When I was younger I was terrified of tornado sirens, I knew when I heard it something bad would happen. Hearing this though, it puts me at ease. It's crazy to know that sirens can harmonize. This is really beautiful, thanks for making this.
I know right? They went off and everyone was just like oh shit with that ominous noise, but this is like someone saying "your time has come, may you find peace in your final moments"
@@gavinhill731 ...idk why,but I never listened to something so nice and then read something that really just made me think, "I'm ready to die.". Guess there is a first time for everything.
It kind of sounds like something being born anew. You know something beautiful is coming, something inevitable and necessary, but you won't be around to see it. Because of the necessary sacrifice beforehand. Like a perfect world being born out of the death of ours.
@@chefboiarby304 you gotta make it rhyme somewhat, besides, it’s befitting to call it “symphony of catastrophe” as it is sirens warning of tornadoes, which bring catastrophe, and a symphony is an orchestra, so with the sirens acting as the orchestra, they form a symphony warning of the incoming catastrophe that will be brought about by the tornados, therefore, it’s a “symphony of catastrophe”
This perfectly captures how terrifying tornados are but also how otherworldly beautiful they are. There’s nothing else as rare, unique, or devastatingly powerful on earth as a tornado.
Sounds like an ending to a movie where everyone dies, but the main characters embrace and hug waiting for their inevitable doom. Sounds really good super relaxing and peaceful.
This sounds like an intangible voice whispering "It's going to be alright. I know it wasn't easy, but you did so good. You can rest now." into your ear as you close your eyes for the last time.
Would actually fit for the Seraphim, one of the angels closest to God, because they were said to be constantly singing praises for Him. Alone, their voices would be a shrieking cacophony causing fear and panic to mortal people. But as the choir sing their praise around His throne, they'll probably sound the most beautiful thing ever. Serene, yet incredibly alien.
That would be nice, but I would like to flash into detail like... "You're in a better place, stay still... and relax. This spot you picked is the best one, yet no one could achieve, close your eyes and don't think of the past memories that hurts you, think of the memories where you want to achieve and think of it as it was the best memory" It's a little off but I want *that* to happen when the world comes to an End.
"When the world's symphony nears its final note, listen to the celestial choir of the holy skies, harmonizing sorrow into a beautiful requiem for what was, and a hymn of anticipation for what shall be."
Tornados are usually a frightening thing. This makes me picture a scenery with a bunch of tornadoes, spread out. And in the midst of a natural disaster, you notice the scenery. Its something you've never seen before. So majestic that it distracts you from all the worries and fearful feelings of the tornado. You just look at the view for 7 seconds. All you're thinking is how beautiful the scenery is. Love this song. Gives me such calming emotions
I get the same feeling on top of the local landfill looking out over the city. So much disgusting filth all piled up just for me to stand at its peak and gaze at the city skyline off in the distance. If a landfill full of death and shit can give me a platform to observe beauty, then how much more valuable are we?
I imagine this playing as background music while a protagonist stands in the middle of a chaotic apocalyptic street and everyone around is screaming, but you can't hear any of it. It's just the quiet acceptance of fate.
I like the little aircraft near the centre of the image because now what I imagine is some sci-fi post-apocalypse where there’s not much left but these tornados, and despite how they are all around you the ship has some futuristic technology so that it’s always perfectly stable. Just imagining being trapped in some luxury aircraft endlessly soaring over a world without anything left behind by the tornados, knowing there’s nothing you can do about it and instead just spectating from your perfect little ship. For extra vibes the ship can be just large enough to be self sustaining without having anyone but yourself and maybe one other person if that’s your preference.
@@cadenallen6776 yeah! It was kind of the same for me tbh, but I didn’t find anyone else who put it quite how I felt, so I wanted to make a little story to put it into words.
Exactly what was I was thinking about this. Maybe this is in the future, and humanity has set up life on different planets around the galaxy. Earth was eventually overtaken by natural disasters, famine, etc, but humans were able to escape. Now they are able to visit their original home from the safety of the spaceship, and admire how far humanity has come.
A lot of people in here talk about how it almost eases them, how it sounds comforting. And i have to agree but it feels more like a good bye, like the universe granting you a last song then letting you go.
The sky fell above us The final end, the one which would end all our pain It came to us After all this years it came I closed my eyes I felt no fear I recalled from a memory, which was probably not mine “At the end no fear, and the end- “ Even when my eyes were closed I felt them burning from the light I could see everything and nothing, Everybody and nobody I felt the warmth of the end, final peace My last thought I asked myself “Can we rest now ?” The mind answered “You can rest now. “ The sky, one last time, now at the end, fell above us But it’s ok Because it’s all over now Goodbye to the world I’ll see you when the universe rises one more time to say goodbye to itself Farewell to the memories Farewell to the comfort Farewell to the warm Farewell to the cold And farewell to everything and everyone we know Farewell traveler, go where we can’t and greet the universe knowing it’s all over Farewell to our world Farewell to us See you on the rise of the universe See you on the other side
"I’ll see you when the universe rises one more time to say goodbye to itself" is some god tier poetry. you need to save that line for a book or something.
This was playing in the background as I was scrolling on my phone and then I looked up and saw the sunset hitting my walls and my bed in a certain way for the first time that I've been living here (I just moved in a few months ago). And I started crying because It reminded me of my childhood bedroom and the kind of ambiance that is rare and true to me. It felt surreal. I was crying tears of joy and nostalgia and sadness and comfort all at once, because in that moment I realized how far I had come, and where I am now. So thank you for this, genuinely.
so happy to read and recognise myself in this feeling. the world is truly a wonderful and amazing place. life is meant to be experienced to its fullest. thank you for this music and thank you for this comment Elise
Me: "Damn this is really comforting, it makes me feel relaxed" Everyone: "This song is about inevitable death, and calmly accepting your fate" Me: "nevermind"
I mean, it really kinda is though. Tornado sirens sound scary because they warn of impending disaster, and they tell people to get to safety. If enough of them are going off to cause the sirens to harmonize, then either something caused the system to fail or a lot of places are under the imminent threat of tornados. Either way, something bad has happened that is putting people in danger. This is the sound of potential death, and it's beautiful in a very grim way.
Can't it be both? I mean call me a fatalist but sometimes knowing your fate can be the most comforting thing of all, even if it means death. The world is a scary and uncertain place, sometimes it's nice to just sit back and let it pass by.
You wake up, feeling the sunlight on your cheeks as it shines between your curtains. You get up and walk outside. It's a beautiful sight, the sun rising as different shade of orange and yellow light up the sky. You hear the sirens in the distance behind you and start walking down the street as people run past you in a panic. You look in the sky and see a tornado, about a mile away. Not far enough. Your family comes out, urging you back inside, but you refuse. It's a beautiful sight, seeing something that can kill you so far away, yet so close. It's humbling. It reminds you that you're only human. You sit on your front porch, watching it get closer as time passes by. Then, just as it's getting close enough to cause any damage to your home, it disperses. The danger is gone. You remember that this life isn't forever. You're not immortal. This danger that passed by was a reminder to enjoy your life while you still have it. It may be your only one. And sure, it's hard sometimes. You may be poor, or struggling with your mental state, or maybe going through a rough patch of some kind. But it'll pass. It'll be okay. Everyone goes through tough times at some point. You're only human, and that's okay.
It’s funny seeing something beautiful coming from some random stranger from some random video on some random internet site. It’s funny how I’ll just have this one moment where I see this comment for this one moment. It’s funny how’s it’s all over some stupid internet stuff yet it’s all like life. We all have these little moments that may seem stupid, beautiful and painful yet in the end, they are everything. In that end, all the moments of our life will flash before our eyes so surreally. No matter how long that moment will be, it will seem as long as our whole life. We will see it all just one more time. From the beginning to the end. It will finally conclude our life. This may be some random comment on some random video on some random internet site, but it showed me something great. It gave me just one small reminder of how truly beautiful life is. In any sense, it truly is great to just pause for one second and truly appreciate the mere fact you are existing. Thank you for giving me this reminder.
They should start playing this after the disaster is over as a way to tell people “it’s over. Your ok now, your safe.” Just imagine being in a horrible natural disaster and at the end of all the loud noises and screaming, you just hear this. And you know that it’s over, you made it. Edit: wtf why is this so popular but thanks
We will know when these days have come to pass. There will be no doubt, neither amongst a cell of a body or a person amongst nations. A magic is going to descend upon this earth, it will pierce ever atom of the universe and will make itself known across all time and space. We have nothing but dreams that await. There is a new world to come, a new kind of time. This is just the beginning.
Please make more videos like this!! For many years now i have used specialized sleep music to help calm my psychosis and voices in my head to sleep, but nothing has worked quite as well as this video. Having a constant, soft beat helps my brain have something to rely on when i wait for my insomnia medicine to kick in. Youve really helped someone like me who suffers from PTSD and various mental disabilities rest better at night. I will forever be grateful for the beautiful work here.
Wow! Thank You for sharing that with me. 🥲 I'm so glad you can sleep better at night. I give full credit to God because I had no clue about what my music was capable of doing for others when I first made this track. I hope your rest continues to get better from now on, and I pray that one day you may learn to find eternal rest, which is in Him forever. 🤍
This makes me think of a goodbye forever, but not the the one that leaves you empty and heartbroken. The peaceful one, the one that makes you relive your greatest memories with loved ones, the one that makes you think of the simplest details in life that makes it worth living. It makes me think of the death of someone who accomplished everything they wanted in life, and now is their time to go without any regrets, knowing that they left kindness wherever they went. Someone who loved and was loved back and now touches the hand of someone they love as they wait for that goodbye peacefully with a smile and tears in their faces.
I never thought this video would be so popular. These sirens have become a small place for people to rest, ponder and create, and for that I am eternally grateful. Thank you for listening everyone. Follow The Light 🌬
Please never stop making this type of music, it reminds me of reflecting on my life and realizing that everything will be okay and not to worry so much and to enjoy life and not take it so seriously, take those risks and don’t look back. Love your family and no have no regrets
It fosters acceptance that sure. Disaster is inevitable. But you can always rebuild. There is always an after. There is always something that survives past the trials. even if it is different. it is alive and that is beautiful on and of itself.
Knowing that these are tornado sirens brings me back to when I was a kid who thought the coolest things ever were tornadoes, dry ice, "chemistry", Bullet Bills from Mario, and a little roller-skate hockey (or whatever it was we did) with my friend down the street. And let's not forget a healthy amount of re-watching the movie "Twister" like it was the greatest movie ever, because to me it was. (Despite all the warnings from picking up on cussing because of Twister, I defied my parents and showed them I wouldn't cuss. To this day I hold true to that standard.) Times may have been simpler back then, but for all the violence and ruggedness I saw when tornadoes did their worst, there was beauty and awe to be had at what they *are*. Sure, hurricanes were an all-encompassing force that loomed over you, but tornadoes came down to make an impression. I wanted to go driving in an awesome armored vehicle as a tornado chaser and meet it up close. I'm pretty sure this sounds a bit weird or maybe concerning (as my teachers sometimes thought so, God bless my parents for understanding me), but that's just how it went for me. Times changed and I started behaving a little more reserved, when I found a new interest in nuclear energy. What's cool is that the reason it attached to me is the same reason tornadoes were so cool back then: the sheer power of 300 MPH wind spiraling and spiraling to the amazing radiance and power of splitting atoms. People were afraid of weapons while I was looking to help end an energy crisis. And so, the cycle continues with dreams of a world set free through the power of nuclear energy now slowly working their way into reality. Slowly, somehow, but surely, this would take over the world someday. idk how to end this lol I lost my train of thought, hope that doesn't bother anyone
No one will read this but… hearing this makes me feel still, all the noise stops and what I’m left with are the thoughts of how short life is. I think of this often and for a brief moment it makes me grateful to be here right now but just as quick as that thought comes, life sets back in and I’m consumed by my negative thinking. The same negative thinking that does no good for me and keeps me stuck. This melody sounds like freedom, it makes me feel this indescribable comfort that I yearn for everyday. The feeling of going back home, to the creator of this world where there is only love and contentment.
This is what knowing everything is about to come to an end, but knowing that the end is just the beginning sounds like. Peaceful tranquility in the midst of fear and pain.
This definitely made me swell up inside some. It just has an oddly powerful movement to it. The original is just great, and I kinda wish they would have kept it as the original version looped. When I came across it the first time the awe of it captured me so much, I probably watched it over 20 times in the course of a few days. I still have it on my phone.
Everything is shaking, all the lights are flashing red, Everyone in the back is screaming and shouting hysterically. Outside is a catastrophic storm which you thought would be physically impossible to exist, it makes you feel so small in this massive universe... You think, this is it, this is where my destiny lies. You close your eyes and start to accept it, when suddenly it all stops. You get blinded by something really bright and you open your eyes one last time. There she is, our beautiful sun shining through everything you ever worried about before, you feel a teardrop running down your chin while everything begins to feel more and more distant, everything around you starts to muffle until there is complete silence, all you can hear is some unreal angelic song that puts you at ease. You close your eyes once again and don't feel that you are there anymore, you are somewhere safe, somewhere without any worries, you're in peace.
Am I on the other side? Then I'll see my loved ones. We'll finally have that conversation we've been waiting for too long to have. Not long left now, old man
I'm a Midwesterner. This absolute ethereal piece brought tears to my eyes... Made me reflect on the weather we get in this region, and I ponder over the victims of these storms, but also of the amazing support people try to rally for them, search and rescue, the chasers trying so hard to help, all of it... it really is beautiful. I'm a weather spotter - have to be where I am. So this really got to me, but in a peaceful, humble way.
I need this playing at the end of a tornado-based videogame. Like picture this. You're stuck in a time loop trying to save your family or something from a tornado that will kill them. When you finally beat the game, this is what plays. Made all the more beautiful because the sound which was a terror for the whole game becomes something that gives comfort as its ends.
now that i think of it, these are just tornado sirens and some extra things on top, the fact that a siren is a mythological creature that lures its prey with its beautiful songs is frighteningly similar to what this is, even down to the name of what is producing the sound
This makes me imagine myself standing in front of the gates of heaven, feeling so calm and emotional after realizing that all my earthly sufferings are over. As the ginormous gates open, I glance back down to earth, and say to myself, “I made it”, with tears of happiness and nostalgia rolling down my face. As I begin walking through the gates, I imagine seeing angels in the distance. As I come closer they become aware of my arrival and begin smiling and clapping whilst I smile. In the distance, I also see all my loved ones, overjoyed by my arrival. God. It is crazy what musical tunes do to one’s soul and spirit. It’s inexplicable yet magical. Thank you for posting this. From the bottom of my heart.
The normal sirens are meant to put you into panic, to alert you when there is danger, that you need to get to safety But it is *these* sirens that tell you that the danger has passed, there is nothing to fear, and that you are safe now, to take a rest in whatever bunker you're in... and wait for help to come
@@sargentsteve7148 Wow... That really moved me, I now kind of wish these sirens that tell you 'it's alright, people are on their way to help you, it's over now' existed.
I feel like this would play at the very end of an emotional movie where everything either ties together and all problems resolve, or everything goes downhill and the main character loses everything.
YESSSSSS and like The camera moves out slowly and just shows the main character on their knees looking up to the sky on a grassy hill near an ocean and then it goes black
Listening to the original TikTok reminds me a lot of the score from Ari Aster's movies, the droning sound it makes, while beautiful, fits with something like the endings of Hereditary or Midsommar IMO. I can hear this playing at the end of one of his movies. Picture this: the protagonist is witnessing something horrific, maybe the workings of a malicious group, maybe they're witnessing the apocalypse, and they stand there motionless, frozen in total horror. Now, while at the protagonist (and the viewer) are witnessing all sorts of carnage around them, you have this music playing in the background, a stark contrast to the visuals, creating some massive dissonance between what the protagonist is seeing and what the audience is hearing. By the end of the scene, the protagonist, their mind fully broken by what they are witnessing, can only stand there, their terrified expression slowly turning blank, before growing into a smile as tears roll down their cheeks. Maybe they start laughing, although the scene's score drowns out the audio (this song in this case), but either way, all the protagonist can do is stand there and watch the absolute mayhem in front of them, smiling and / or laughing, their mind completely broken and the last thread of their sanity being completely lost. The score to the scene ends, the screen cuts to black and then, the credits roll.
When I first heard this, it reminded me of William Basinski’s Disintegration Loops. In this piece and Basinski’s piece, you feel a sense of impending consequences. Catastrophe, sadness, closure, peace-you have no idea what’s coming. But the music places you in the waiting room between the person you were before some enormous change, and the person that comes after. It’s melancholy bliss.
A moment trapped in time, something that'll be there forever, but at the same time forever lost. It's like a golden memory that you didn't think much about back when it took place, but something that you none the less remember fondly, and don't want to forget.
"The music places you in the waiting room between the person you were before some enormous change, and the person that comes after." This was beautifully said, thank you.
I saw the original video of this, it was crazy. Sirens by themselves are a signal to impending doom.. but.. hearing this, not only does the pure aspect of the harmony give me goosebumps, it feels, ethereal. You can sense the doom, but you are okay. You appreciate what this life prepared for you, and you know, It'll be okay.
let's not dismiss the power and raw emotion of human creativity. Props to you for combining notes in such majestic manner and creating a truly cathartic atmosphere
I got to hold the love of my life for the first time in my truck last night during the entire song as she went through her bodily panic attack. I got to comfort her with your wonderful music. I wouldn't have traded that moment for the world. Thank you for your beautiful creation.
I think another in the comments mentioned this, but the best way to describe the sound is hopeless solidarity. A sound that would play at an unavoidable end, and accepting that you can do nothing about it. It's both unsettling and calming, sinister and majestic. Watching as a cataclysmic disaster unfolds around you, to be both spectator and victim of it's wrath. Then knowing that nothing can be done, you put aside your fear and face your end.
This harmonization is a paradox between peace and death. Tornadoes, Sirens, eerie noises all stand alone to evoke a sense of doom, of death. But when harmonized, there is a beauty to death - that beauty is the peace of nothingness. Such a simple collection of fearful noises put together like this can enrapture the mind and put it to peace.
No matter what you are going through right now, no matter how much pain you are in, no matter how bad it hurts, I want you to remember that you will be okay again. It's all going to be okay again and you will heal your scars and wear them proudly as a reminder of how strong you are. I am so proud of you. I believe in you. And I wish you the absolute best in life. May you find your light again , dear stranger. 💙
I think I’m perfectly fine and I’m lying to myself about how messed up I am. It’s caused a few midlife crisis’ and led up to my mom wanting me in therapy
It’s not just the sound of an impending storm, nor is just a comforting chorus. It’s a war cry. “Do not despair!!” They’re screaming. “Adapt and Overcome!!” They’re shouting. “This is not the end!! It will never be the end!!” they’re crying out.
“It’s alright, it’s all going to be over soon.” “We can’t do anything?” “Oh darling, haven’t you done enough?” “Of course not! It’s still ending, we’ve still lost!” “Ending? Oh child, the Earth is just as tired as you are. So she will sleep, and when she wakes, then sun will still be there to welcome her. Just another day. Another chance. Another try.”
Something that means horrible things can or will happen being so besutifull is oddly nice. It gives calmness in chaos. A feeling of order in the uncontrolable. Its so beautifull.
this sound makes me feel all my grief, my pain, the weight of it all. but, it makes me feel like it’s all melting away and i’m running to nature, her smile sad, her arms open wide, holding me. as she wraps her arms around me she whispers, “welcome home, my darling. you’re at peace now.” and i crave that peace. i yearn for it, yet this grief. it keeps me. stranded.
i played this everyday eversince my grandma passed away from lung cancer and this made me listen to it at least an hour of my day we all need moments like this to cry to because everyone needs that sad song to remind them that they are gonna be ok and feeling relaxed. again thanks to the youtuber that made this song iti helps me from my depression
Please don't delete this video, ever. I've been wandering through some vídeos in this style, other times on a musics-playslit type with some genre and they're all GREAT But... this... made me feel alive again. I have a constant imnsonia problem, i take pills everynight so i can sleep until i can wake up in a day wich i'll fullfil my desire, to just move away, go on a adventure and be free with my soul. and this music, is really about despair, fear and also calm, peace, and someone with their face on your's saying "you'll be ok". The love inside catastrophe. So please... don't take this down. It is slowly healing me and my thoughts. I don't want to be sad, sleepless anymore. Thank you for existing, and for creating this.
Hey brick, how you been? I hope you are in a better place than a year ago. That your insomnia has gotten better, and you are starting to feel better and recover if you haven't yet. I hope that you have found a source of joy you can rely on when you can't listen to music, I hope you are content with who you are as a person. Most of all, I hope you are okay. I hope you are feeling like you can do what you set your mind to, instead of thinking that it is impossible for you to accomplish. Have a good one ~Yodel
This, I’ve listened to for too long, ever sense last year, i have listened to this from time to time, it’s burned in my memory. I have been though a lot this past year, i don’t even feel the same anymore, this song was always there following me, because it felt like, even though everybody is telling you “you’re ok” “I’m here” “your not alone”, deep inside that feeling of “Everything is wrong” “My world has ended” “I’m forever alone” exists, you see the peace but your trapped behind gates, that you have put yourself in. This work of devastating art, is perfect at explaining this, without a single word. Nothing has ever effected me more then this song, I still am trapped, and I don’t know how to get out, but I know at least this song can give me answers while I wait for those gates, opening and giving me the happiness I hope for. Please for me, never delete this song from TH-cam, it should stay here as a remark of history, I’d hope it does one day. Nothing describes the feeling of “hope in a lost world” better then this. I hope my world Changes for the better, I thank you with all of my heart for this masterpiece you have created, I wanna have this play at my funeral when I pass away softly in my sleep peacefully. I usually write stuff this long because of my heart, but you might still be reading this, because you care. And if you are, thank you.❤
That's one of the most beautiful things I've read this year. Thank You for sharing your heart and how this music continues to impact you. I believe you will find The Light my friend. ❤️
Dam man, these words you said are powerful. I can feel the pain in your heart, and whatever it is you're going through or have gone through. God will always have a light to guide your way.
this sounds like the comforting feeling of knowing it’s the end. like the feeling of being okay with the fact that it’s over, and really soaking in every last bit of it until it’s gone.
_An unavoidable catastrophe that results in nothing but death; yet the sirens singing in perfect harmony reassures you that it'll be a painless demise._ _You watch the impending doom as it grew closer and closer to the place you once called "home". You reminisce the memories you had; the memories you missed; and the memories you'll forever cherish until the time stops ticking. You wonder if there's any hope left for survival even if everyone else bid their heartful goodbyes; some crying; some smiling; some deadpan - an emotion you personally love doing. You wonder if you rode a car and started heading west (where it's safe), there's still hope for you to see another day._ _But then you realize how useless it'll be as almost everything in your life happened within this very territory; your home. There's no point leaving either as the government has blocked the roads in hopes no one from outside gets in the area and risk getting caught in the ferocious winds that crept closer and closer, however, oblivious to the fact that there are still people inside._ _The winds are picking up; everyone in your vicinity can be seen and heard panicking trying to find where to go... and you? You sat there on the porch; the same place you always went to first thing in the morning as you drank your first of the many cups of coffee for the day; watching the clouds fly by, the birds singing another cacophony yet added to the ambience, the noise of neighbouring houses as they wake up one by one, the passing school bus filled with early birds - dreaming pupils who cannot stay put in their seat, your own house just behind you slowly getting ready for the day - but you love it all the same._ _You examine the surroundings darkened by clouds and flying debris for the final time; replacing the cloudy vision with a memory: blue skies, birds and clouds. A tear slips off your eye and flies with the lone leaf that has been sitting on the porch and into the direction where the huge tornado slowly grew in size._ _The sirens have started singing again. This time louder than before._ _You close your eyes and let the echoing harmonies of the final warning wash over you - a deathwish; freeing yourself from any panic and fear as you feel the winds start growing even stronger that you can feel your chair lifting off the porch._ _Hopefully, it'll be painless._ Edit (28/09/23; 10:08 pm): I stumbled upon this video again was reminded of this short piece. I've learned a lot in writing since I posted this comment and I thought I'd change a few things here and there.
This is perfect, i can't describe my feelings towards your hard work put in this masterpiece rather than "I love it". I wish to be able to write things just as good as this one day! And then improve constantly. You should write stories if you're not already doing so, wether online or on paper, whatever it may be, I am sure you will be able to touch people in every emotional way possible either way. Wishing you well :)
When I first saw that tiktok, I knew it could be made into music. I love what you have done here, the soothing piano melody really fits the atmosphere the sirens create. Gives off such a warm vibe and is really beautiful!
A man dies protecting a child… A mother smiles at close of day… A wind caresses her wet hair… A moon, as full as the sky, is uncovered… A fist grips a rose for the last time… I sit, listening to my final sounds…
1. The piano chord progression is simple yet mesmerizing, also the sound being muffled makes it easy on the ears 2. There's a layer of sound that being hold on one note from the beginning until the end, gave this on going feeling of serenity 3. The reverb on all the layers (especially on the siren) is on point, it sounds so smooth
I feel adrenaline when I hear tornado sirens. Both excitement yet fear about what will happen about what awaits us in the future amidst the destruction and chaos.
@@lazyrat6687 is glorious isn’t it? It’s a profound feeling like being in a new place for the first time and it being the coolest you’d never want to leave.
this is some hanz zimmer level music, its so incredible, so many feelings and thoughts crossed my mind while I listened. i thank you for this incredible piece good sir!!!
I’ve been listening to that song for two years now, and it was with me in joy and in sorrow, it represents for me something indescriptible, a mix of emotions (joy, pain, inside peace, tears, acceptance, grief, nostalgia, relaxation, etc.).
Listening to this today gives me goosebumps. Prayers to everyone affected across Arkansas, Illinois, Kentucky, Missouri and Tennessee. edit: I am once again reminded of how fortunate I really am, to have a roof over my head and a family to spend time with. This morning has taught me that such basic aspects of life can be torn away in a moment’s notice.
this feels like finally accepting that something terrible happened and moving on from it. the calm years awaiting you after suffering with a tragedy for however long. like the first bit of fresh air i love this, i'm using it to write my story. it's so beautiful!
Imagine, it's been years. There's barely a survivor left in your world, and even you're stugging to find an ounce of hope anymore. Then, you hear this. A faint noise at first, but as each siren began to sing it's peaceful song, it gets louder. It's signal wrapping around you in warmth, in comfort. Tears begin to well in your eyes as you run outside, raindrops splashing on your face, mixing with your tears. It's finally over. Everyone you have lost, everyone you have seen die around you, all the death, and destruction. It's over. You're finally safe.
This just made me cry. I have no clue why it did, but ive been letting alot of crap build up, and i heard this and it just sent me into an emotional spiral. Thank you, this helped me big time.
“FIGHT!” she screamed, with everything she could muster, she screamed. Her voice was still somehow gentle even with the heavy breathing and the ache that seemed to coat it. Her tears were drying from the many that were falling. She had finally caught up to him, with no shoes and sore feet. She just couldn’t let it happen, not after everything they had been through. He was the hero- the one who had saved so many and took down the one who started it all. So why was he here? The hero stood in his tracks, he didn’t move, he didn’t speak. He just listened. He didn’t even acknowledge her presence because if he did he knew he couldn’t go on. She stood there, almost falling over and out of breath. She put the rest of her energy into that word. The word that held so much meaning between them, because no matter how hard it got- no matter where they went merely a whisper.. and they fought. Her eyes were flooding again and her voice was thin and raspy. “why are you here? You won, he’s gone. It’s over.“ She looked at the man standing before her, he didn’t turn around nor did he move. After a while he spoke, not in his usual tone but softer- almost warming. “Listen. Can you hear it?” She listened, but stayed confused because where they were it was silent. It was their place, that little nook with a view. The only sounds were the distant birds deep within the woods. “What are you talking about..?” He took in a deep breath, and let it out slowly as he turned to face her. The expression she had been holding faded as she looked at him, because his eyes were red too. His face was cut and his clothes torn. “I’m no hero.” He said with a soft smile. She took a step towards him, “of course you are. You saved all of those people from Him. They would have died if you-“ she was cut off. “But, He died.” He finally made eye contact with her and they were face to face now. “I killed Him.” His eyes teared up and his smile was gone. “How could I kill my best friend?” That question broke her. How could she answer that? She had known him for a long time, she had been his best friend when He wasn’t. She had always known He was messed up, but she never had the courage to say anything. She touched his face. “It’s not your fault. Let’s go.. please.” She grabbed his hand. He pulled away and turned his head back around, the orange light of the setting sun glistened on the tears down his cheeks. “I’m done fighting.” She froze and her heart sank. “No, no you’re not. We fight together. Fight. That’s our word. You can’t just be done with it.” They had never said what was obvious between them, but she didn’t have to. He knew she loved him. So he had to turn around and take her hand. He had to keep fighting. He couldn’t just stop. He looked back at her, her eyes desperately holding his, clinging to anything there. He touched her face and held it with a bruised hand. That’s the moment she heard it, the wailing and the harmonies. It was beautiful and it pulled the rest of her tears out. She sobbed as he finally kissed her. When he pulled his lips the siren sounds seemed to grow and she held him so tight. She knew deep down that she couldn’t stop him from leaving, he was tired and no matter how much she wanted him to fight, she always knew he would go. The sounds she was hearing confirmed that. He looked at her again and she thought that he would change his mind. Her eyes begged but he was set on leaving, he couldn’t stay in this town anymore. Because no matter how many lives you save, no matter how good the hero is. There is always a side they don’t see and will never understand. So he pulled away and took a step back as he turned his head to look at the orange again. His sirens played loudly, for a second time that day. And it was the most beautiful thing he had ever heard. The worst possible pain created the wondrous noise of peace. Once you’ve lost the ones you love you know, because harmony overflows the hurt. The sirens are a beautiful warning. She felt him pull away and she tried to plea, but she could run no more. She couldn’t chase him as he said he loved her. She couldn’t reach him when he took a step backwards. “I fought, I won..” he breathed, “I loved. Listen to the sirens, I know you hear them.” They were overpoweringly loud, and she was lost within the sound waves. Even when he smiled at her she couldn’t hear him. She loved him so much it was overpowering. She watched as he fell from their cliff and felt the silent tears fall as he did. The town’s hero was brave and determined. Her hero was hurt, and broken. Now gone. Her siren sounds faded away and she knew he was dead. The sun set and she stayed there, unable to fight anymore.
This is so beautifully written. I would be curious to know if this ever becomes a novel or a short story. Absolutely gorgeous and fits the music perfectly. Well done, I love this!
I found this over 3 days ago and I've been going through some rough things and started to give up some things in my life that were there from the start just for the better of me and it worked. This is something that I really want. It's so peaceful and romantic. Thank you so much for posting this on youtube.
I imagine that is what you hear shortly before you die and all the beautiful moments of your life and all the people you experienced them with flash before your eyes. I don’t know. Very beautiful song. Calming and beautiful but als sad. I really love it!
the art/painting is one aspect of this that many people seem to under-appreciate, it looks like some sort of spacecraft is whirling through a planet of which has insane winds, and pressure differences you cant imagine, creating countless tornadoes all over the planet. Each tornado appearing and disappearing after a long while, the spirals visible from space are almost mesmerizing to watch.
This feels like you're walking through the world one last time, completely at peace. Everything will be over soon. You'll be free. Sure, it's a bit sad, but it's better than being the only one to survive, a fate you're glad nobody will have. You'll never be alone, not even in your last moments. Everyone's last moments. Peace. You are at peace.
This is one of the most beautiful yet terrifying things that I have ever heard. I was holding back tears while listening to this, memories flooding back from past years. The one memory that came back was from December 26th, 2015. That night in my (at the time) home town of Rowlett, Texas an EF-4 tore through the city. My Great-Aunt was only around a 3 - 4 houses from it. I remember going with my Sister, Mother, & Grand-mother to go check on her and all I remember was seeing over-turned cars, trees uprooted, damaged homes, and some homes completely flattened to nothing but the foundation. My Great-Aunt was extremely lucky that night as the only damage her house received was the backyard fence was mostly gone, a 2x4 through the master bedroom window, shingle's ripped off the roof, and the small turbines on the roof were completely torn off. The one thing that stuck out to me though was that her car was parked out front, it hadn't moved from where it was parked, however it was totaled due to the flying debris from the EF-4. Other than all that, she was Ok. That's just something to think about I guess, the smallest of things can either lead to the death of a friend or loved one or the ability to live another day for a friend or a loved one.
I love that people are expressing their thoughts and, remembering experiences while listening to an hour of calming music created by the pure coincidence of sirens harmonizing. It somehow makes me feel connected to others I've not met before...
"It's the end. No one can say we didn't try, but no one can say we didn't prevent this either." "What now?" "We wait." "But what's waiting at the end? What's next?" "I...I don't know." "You don't know? Is this really it?" "I suppose so." "...Can we stay like this for a while?" "Sure. I mean, we've got nothing else."
I had a moment while listening to this song that made me experience the most pain, but also joy in my life i’ve ever felt. I decided to clean out my photos, and going through it i saw all the family members or friends i had lost. i had so much joy and spark in my eyes back then. sometimes it feels like, my looks, personality, everything is worse rather than better now that i’m older. it’s silly to feel these things at 18 but i do. if anyone reads this, im proud of you. keep fighting and have a good day or night :)
This will be the track that plays when I walk down the final path, with visions of my life playing all around me. Every significant moment, person, feeling, all replaying for one last time.
When I was younger I was terrified of tornado sirens, I knew when I heard it something bad would happen.
Hearing this though, it puts me at ease. It's crazy to know that sirens can harmonize. This is really beautiful, thanks for making this.
It makes me really happy that I was able to turn something you once feared into something you can find comfort in. Thanks for listening :)
I know right? They went off and everyone was just like oh shit with that ominous noise, but this is like someone saying "your time has come, may you find peace in your final moments"

I think the track would either be called "Acceptance of an Undesired Ending" or "The Calm Before The Storm".
Thats fitting for the soundtrack of a climate crisis film, when every or most living being is wiped out

Me: "Damn this is really comforting, it makes me feel relaxed"
Everyone: "This song is about inevitable death, and calmly accepting your fate"
Me: "nevermind"
The inevitability of death, and the humble acceptance of it.

It's really beautiful
A tornado siren makes you think "It's the end I'm going to die." but the harmonization is more of "It's my time to rest."
So true... (sorry im late ;-;)
why is this actually like one of the most relaxing things ever

You close your eyes once again and don't feel that you are there anymore, you are somewhere safe, somewhere without any worries,
you're in peace.
wow daz crazzeee
please write a book. you have talent
Am I on the other side? Then I'll see my loved ones. We'll finally have that conversation we've been waiting for too long to have.
Not long left now, old man
I was close to tears, but this really drove me over the edge
You have some serious potential as an author!
So this really got to me, but in a peaceful, humble way.
canon better
I need this playing at the end of a tornado-based videogame. Like picture this. You're stuck in a time loop trying to save your family or something from a tornado that will kill them. When you finally beat the game, this is what plays. Made all the more beautiful because the sound which was a terror for the whole game becomes something that gives comfort as its ends.
kinda close to Life is Strange 1
@@primus0348 Was gonna say the same thing lol
you said "time loop" and "tornado" and that was it, you described life is strange 1 lmao
Oh that's awesome
This would've been a good song for Life is Strange 1 end credits lol
now that i think of it, these are just tornado sirens and some extra things on top, the fact that a siren is a mythological creature that lures its prey with its beautiful songs is frighteningly similar to what this is, even down to the name of what is producing the sound
The Sirens song
the guy who recorded the sirens where in the middle of three of them with some other ones so it harmonized in to a master piece
Something that sounds scary, and mean scary things but then sound awesome and calming to let you know that they are there to save lives.
The normal sirens are meant to put you into panic, to alert you when there is danger, that you need to get to safety
But it is *these* sirens that tell you that the danger has passed, there is nothing to fear, and that you are safe now, to take a rest in whatever bunker you're in... and wait for help to come
@@sargentsteve7148 Wow... That really moved me, I now kind of wish these sirens that tell you 'it's alright, people are on their way to help you, it's over now' existed.
"There's nothing that i can do, and that's fine. It was a good life after all."
i have never seen a song maker reply on someone's comment before holy shit
I know I felt that
Tornado sirens always felt like the most unpleasant noise I could hear, but you managed to shape it into one of the most pleasant noises I've heard
I feel like this would play at the very end of an emotional movie where everything either ties together and all problems resolve, or everything goes downhill and the main character loses everything.
YESSSSSS
and like
The camera moves out slowly and just shows the main character on their knees looking up to the sky on a grassy hill near an ocean and then it goes black
Finally someone says it! I thought the exact same thing
That was a great description of how it feels
Aaaaaa YES!!!!! it gives me the same vibes as please this shit has to stop by William basinskey omg
This is one of the main reasons I love tornado sirens. They are powerful and terrifying, but mix the right ones together and it sure sounds beautiful.
I'm subbed to you.
This ! Speaking of that, I saw one of your videos were a 2T22 and two STL-10's sound together and also harmonise
2001s and t-128s
let's not dismiss the power and raw emotion of human creativity. Props to you for combining notes in such majestic manner and creating a truly cathartic atmosphere
Simply the moments in life that combine what we thought we already knew to make something new
It fits really well with the background picture as well.
I got to hold the love of my life for the first time in my truck last night during the entire song as she went through her bodily panic attack. I got to comfort her with your wonderful music. I wouldn't have traded that moment for the world. Thank you for your beautiful creation.
i love the added piano and the fact you can hear his footsteps
Seems to personify the music a little bit to me.
The tranquility of acceptance to one's certain doom, I like it....

Appreciate you so much
It’s not just the sound of an impending storm, nor is just a comforting chorus. It’s a war cry.
“Do not despair!!” They’re screaming.
“Adapt and Overcome!!” They’re shouting.
“This is not the end!! It will never be the end!!” they’re crying out.
“It’s alright, it’s all going to be over soon.”
“We can’t do anything?”
“Oh darling, haven’t you done enough?”
“Of course not! It’s still ending, we’ve still lost!”
“Ending? Oh child, the Earth is just as tired as you are. So she will sleep, and when she wakes, then sun will still be there to welcome her. Just another day. Another chance. Another try.”

Something that means horrible things can or will happen being so besutifull is oddly nice. It gives calmness in chaos. A feeling of order in the uncontrolable.
Its so beautifull.
this sound makes me feel all my grief, my pain, the weight of it all. but, it makes me feel like it’s all melting away and i’m running to nature, her smile sad, her arms open wide, holding me. as she wraps her arms around me she whispers, “welcome home, my darling. you’re at peace now.” and i crave that peace. i yearn for it, yet this grief. it keeps me. stranded.
i dont think mother nature would do that
Probably would say something more like this: "I see your pain. Come be at peace; your not alone."
i played this everyday eversince my grandma passed away from lung cancer and this made me listen to it at least an hour of my day we all need moments like this to cry to because everyone needs that sad song to remind them that they are gonna be ok and feeling relaxed. again thanks to the youtuber that made this song iti helps me from my depression
And the Lord said: "Come to me and I will give you rest"

I have a constant imnsonia problem, i take pills everynight so i can sleep until i can wake up in a day wich i'll fullfil my desire, to just move away, go on a adventure and be free with my soul.
and this music, is really about despair, fear and also calm, peace, and someone with their face on your's saying "you'll be ok". The love inside catastrophe.
So please... don't take this down. It is slowly healing me and my thoughts. I don't want to be sad, sleepless anymore.
Thank you for existing, and for creating this.
Goodluck, hope for the best.

Hey pal!, how are you doing?

Memories start pouring down from your past...
_An unavoidable catastrophe that results in nothing but death; yet the sirens singing in perfect harmony reassures you that it'll be a painless demise._
_You watch the impending doom as it grew closer and closer to the place you once called "home". You reminisce the memories you had; the memories you missed; and the memories you'll forever cherish until the time stops ticking. You wonder if there's any hope left for survival even if everyone else bid their heartful goodbyes; some crying; some smiling; some deadpan - an emotion you personally love doing. You wonder if you rode a car and started heading west (where it's safe), there's still hope for you to see another day._
_But then you realize how useless it'll be as almost everything in your life happened within this very territory; your home. There's no point leaving either as the government has blocked the roads in hopes no one from outside gets in the area and risk getting caught in the ferocious winds that crept closer and closer, however, oblivious to the fact that there are still people inside._
_The winds are picking up; everyone in your vicinity can be seen and heard panicking trying to find where to go... and you? You sat there on the porch; the same place you always went to first thing in the morning as you drank your first of the many cups of coffee for the day; watching the clouds fly by, the birds singing another cacophony yet added to the ambience, the noise of neighbouring houses as they wake up one by one, the passing school bus filled with early birds - dreaming pupils who cannot stay put in their seat, your own house just behind you slowly getting ready for the day - but you love it all the same._
_You examine the surroundings darkened by clouds and flying debris for the final time; replacing the cloudy vision with a memory: blue skies, birds and clouds. A tear slips off your eye and flies with the lone leaf that has been sitting on the porch and into the direction where the huge tornado slowly grew in size._
_The sirens have started singing again. This time louder than before._
_You close your eyes and let the echoing harmonies of the final warning wash over you - a deathwish; freeing yourself from any panic and fear as you feel the winds start growing even stronger that you can feel your chair lifting off the porch._
_Hopefully, it'll be painless._

1. The piano chord progression is simple yet mesmerizing, also the sound being muffled makes it easy on the ears
2. There's a layer of sound that being hold on one note from the beginning until the end, gave this on going feeling of serenity
3. The reverb on all the layers (especially on the siren) is on point, it sounds so smooth

“Listen. Can you hear it?”
She listened, but stayed confused because where they were it was silent. It was their place, that little nook with a view. The only sounds were the distant birds deep within the woods.
“What are you talking about..?”
He took in a deep breath, and let it out slowly as he turned to face her.
“How could I kill my best friend?”
That question broke her.
“I’m done fighting.”
She froze and her heart sank. “No, no you’re not. We fight together. Fight. That’s our word. You can’t just be done with it.”
They had never said what was obvious between them, but she didn’t have to.
Listen to the sirens, I know you hear them.”
They were overpoweringly loud, and she was lost within the sound waves.

@@mrextrapotente i dunno it was a random youtube short, if you search "tornado sirens harmonizing" you'll find it .^.
the art/painting is one aspect of this that many people seem to under-appreciate, it looks like some sort of spacecraft is whirling through a planet of which has insane winds, and pressure differences you cant imagine, creating countless tornadoes all over the planet.

Hey Joshua make more like this. There's something about the balance of piercing/tense, busy/interesting, and ethereal/calming. Nailed it.
Thanks man! :)
I love that people are expressing their thoughts and, remembering experiences while listening to an hour of calming music created by the pure coincidence of sirens harmonizing. It somehow makes me feel connected to others I've not met before...
"It's the end. No one can say we didn't try, but no one can say we didn't prevent this either."
"What now?"
"We wait."
"But what's waiting at the end? What's next?"
"I...I don't know."
"You don't know? Is this really it?"
"I suppose so."
"...Can we stay like this for a while?"
"Sure. I mean, we've got nothing else."
This made me cry, thank you
I had a moment while listening to this song that made me experience the most pain, but also joy in my life i’ve ever felt.
