    Please Remember To Top Off Your Reservoir With Straight Coolant to Offset the Water In Your Block or Check With Hydometer and add or remove coolant as necessary.

      They make concentrated coolant for this reason. When you flush you system out with water a few times and drain the radiator for the last time, the cooling system is still half full of distilled water. When you add 50/50 mix, you end up with something like 25/75 coolant to water ratio. Just a little word of wisdom. I have a 94" F-350 Crew Cab with the 351W in it and love it. Thanks for the videos.

      @@rocketnoob392 15-17 quarts. But quite a bit remains in the block after flush. So add extra straight coolant.

    Great video! Do you think I can do the same to my 96 Tbird?

    How many gallons does this take for a full fill up? I ended up buying the concentrate not the ready mix of antifreeze but I only got one jug. Not sure if I’ll need more.

    How much water did you use for each fill??

    • @BroncosandPartsGarage
      @BroncosandPartsGarage  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      final fill I mixed it 60 anti/40 water to offset any water left in the block after final flush.

      That’s not enough to offset the amount of water left in the block. A better method is to use concentrate and add half of the capacity and then top off with distilled after that. This way you know that you got enough coolant in the system.

    how many gallons of distilled water did you use for this? need to know how much distilled to buy so i’m not making multiple trips to the store

    • @BroncosandPartsGarage
      @BroncosandPartsGarage  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Depends on your climate. If you’re not using premix, you do need to compensate for the amount of flushed water left in the block.

      @@BroncosandPartsGarage South Carolina so pretty hot i’m assuming about 60/40 for it? Also, did it take 14 quarts of water every time for each rinse?

    Step 1: Let your vehicle warm up.
    Step 2: Let your vehicle cool down.
