It's so funny how when Marzz realized that she lost her runes against Godfrey, she instantly went full aggressive mode: Dodging towards him instead of away, punishing all the downtime between attacks and basically just destroying him that same attempt. Really nice!
Morgott is by far my favorite boss in the game, I struggled so hard with Margit so when he walked in I was stoked. In my opinion Morgott was the perfect difficulty for this stage in my journey, he was no pushover he gave me a good challeneg, but he wasn't so frustrating I raged over it, very good battle and definitely my favorite character.

The amount of freedom really lets personality shine through. I've been having a blast watching people play through, even more than their previous games, because even the most timid or uncertain people can always find some small victories to build off of (instead of just getting flattened by gundyr or whatever lmao)

Morgott was one of the most fun bosses in the game for me. Great move-set and just a fantastic presence. Defeating him felt like an accomplishment. Went in at just the right level for me (80). Edit: Its hilarious watching someone use the Wing of Astel without the proper distancing. It takes a bit to work it out just riiight.
Funny thing about Morgott, I beat him on my first attempt, but we both got the last hit on each other at exactly the same frame. But luckily my character did the long dying animation so it said GREAT ENEMY FELLED before it said YOU DIED so it counted as my win.
When you look into the lore, Morgott is actually a tragic character. Everyone abandoned the city and their duties, he stayed. His parents shunned him and Mohg for being Omens, yet despite all that, he loved Godfrey and Marika and did everything to protect and save his family. Best son ever.
Cool thing about those enemies with the trumpets, those are a Lovecraftian easter eggs, since the entities that keep Azathoth asleep have similarities.

I started back in 2013 with Demon Souls, but the 1st fromsoft game i beat was Elden Ring, then DS3, then DS1, Im at the end of bloodborne and just starting sekiro, but idk if I can beat that one lol.... Marz is a damn beast at this game. Taking on areas under recommended level, no summons. Granted, these two bosses were pretty easy, but she's been doing this the whole game.
Yeah she's really good, but there are still a few things I don't understand, for example why would you ignore the Flask of Wondrous Physick completely? It's 2 free buffs which I gladly use in every single bossfight. But to each his/her own I guess.

At 1:36:00 I know exactly how you feel... When you lose a boss fight more than 20 times (Malenia for me, over 6 hours of attempts as an astrologer), and you feel like you don't even deserve to win. But lemme tell you, when you get that W ... It feels so fucking good. That's what makes this game so good. The victory after being shut down so many times.

Yep. Place is hard! Just got there a few days ago. For the most part, the little trumpet players and foot soldiers aren’t anything special but they’re intermixed with the lightning swords and shield knights, just super fun how far the graces are spaced out as well.

I’ll second this. Mountaintops feels scaled for characters between 120-130.. some might say that’s being generous but that area is pretty extreme in terms of enemy and boss scaling
Hope you went under the capital too, it's pretty much a new area with a boss and a secret area after that. But I'll let you figure it out for yourself.

I died probably close to 100 times against Tree Sentinel, Margit, and Godrick. But I defeated Godfrey and Morgott in one try. I like to think I'm getting better! Elden Ring: "Put these foolish ambitions to rest."
Godfrey is a hell of a joke. I mean it is just so disappointing, even on level 70. It feels like two different teams were working on this game, TEAM 1 was working on the weapons variety / ashes of wars / interior areas and epic (complex) bosses; TEAM 2 was working on open world copy paste areas (~ every open zone after Raya Lucaria) and boss clones (clownz?) and bosses like hologram Godfrey. Despite all of the s...., this game is fun lmao.
@@gerardray1232 my reality check was whatever this stupid ass cave with summoner snails was. The final boss there with a godskin apostle and his big thicc brother tilted me. I actually only took maybe 9 tries total which isn't bad - but the fight takes SO long and even getting to the fog wall is SO long, AND I had not fought a fat godskin yet. That shit was humbling after I'd been on such a tear for so long -_- I've heard wonderful things about Malenia as well -_- Can't wait -_- lmao
Morgott is the same as Margit, the first boss you fought is kind of his disguise since he can’t leave the capital and let people know the monarch of Leyndell is an Omen
Getting there Marz! I know you're probably near done if not done by now over on Twitch. But you're doing very good! One thing I would like to say. You just stick to you when doing these games. Your weapon and things should be over powered because bosses are also super strong. So you need over powered things. Or else you are fighting even more handicapped (Since you're not using Spirit Ashes either)

This is why ranged weapons are good against bosses especially if they deal good damage. The Black Knife's a good example.

I died probably close to 100 times against Tree Sentinel, Margit, and Godrick. But I defeated Godfrey and Morgott in one try. I like to think I'm getting better!

Godfrey is a hell of a joke. I mean it is just so disappointing, even on level 70. It feels like two different teams were working on this game, TEAM 1 was working on the weapons variety / ashes of wars / interior areas and epic (complex) bosses; TEAM 2 was working on open world copy paste areas (~ every open zone after Raya Lucaria) and boss clones (clownz?) and bosses like hologram Godfrey. Despite all of the s...., this game is fun lmao.
@@gerardray1232 my reality check was whatever this stupid ass cave with summoner snails was. The final boss there with a godskin apostle and his big thicc brother tilted me. I actually only took maybe 9 tries total which isn't bad - but the fight takes SO long and even getting to the fog wall is SO long, AND I had not fought a fat godskin yet. That shit was humbling after I'd been on such a tear for so long -_- I've heard wonderful things about Malenia as well -_- Can't wait -_- lmao

Morgott is the same as Margit, the first boss you fought is kind of his disguise since he can’t leave the capital and let people know the monarch of Leyndell is an Omen

Getting there Marz! I know you're probably near done if not done by now over on Twitch. But you're doing very good! One thing I would like to say. You just stick to you when doing these games. Your weapon and things should be over powered because bosses are also super strong. So you need over powered things. Or else you are fighting even more handicapped (Since you're not using Spirit Ashes either)
