I know I'm starting to sound like a broken record but your narration skills are so damn good!! The tones, the inflections, the freaking mood you set just with your voice. Brings any story alive. And to the author, I've been looking for so long for a good witch story and this takes the cake!

This reminded me of a live action version of Alice in Wonderland that I saw as a child. Alice met the White Queen (Carol Channing) and during their misadventure, the Queen turned into a goat. This may or may not have scared me to the point where decades later, I still remember the bleating of the beast and get shivers thinking about it.
What’s the name of this “live action version” exactly???
@ChristianGibbons777 I know you asked a long time ago, but it was literally called Alice in Wonderland. It was a tv miniseries on CBS in 1985. I honestly don't know where you can watch it now, though. I remember it scared the Jesus out of me, though.

same, she truly knew the plan but took him a long time to realize it. she gave him a gift to make it stop and he was too dumb to realize it that quickly.

Just in the intention of helping, and with all respect, I just wanted to heads up you on a few pronunciations.
'Bowl the old lady over' is said as in the tenpin bowling way, rhyming with 'hole'
And in your (very well done) story of Travis in the voodoo shop, 'chided' is pronounced with the 'chi' as in 'child', not as in 'shy-ded'

Not done the video yet, though I am not sure there is anything the main character can say or do to stop the buyers trying to get the old woman's house. There is just too much money in it for them to stop trying.

The street light going out.. that’s happens to me constantly when I’m driving or even walking right as I get a certain distance from it always the same distance right before I am next to it and passing it. sometimes they go on too but usually it’s out. I’m only 1 fourth of the way through I’m curious if that will come up later

I love ur narrations, and ur voice reminds me of this one channel I used to love listening too as well a few years ago? It was called "Fear Itself" and he was a college student at the time I believe, but he would set aside time to create some of the best stories I've ever heard! Now I have u to listen too and that makes me extremely happy because a master storyteller is able to bring the listener inside the story....Ur 100% a master storyteller!!!

I feel like the true evil in this story is landowners/ landlords and it is not only reflected in the relationship between the "witch" and the guy throwing her out, as well as him in the end possessing the power of owning power/ land. Idk if this was the intention but I feel like there is a metaphor there

Greet narration, great story. But dang this dude was evil (even before the very end). He took a curse and turned it into a weapon to benefit himself. He put the witch to work, and he’s going to get his from her- but way worse than the others.
