It took a bit to get a decent opening hand, and a few practice tries, but getting that shaman with the abomination is crucial. Chickens clutch as usual! Thank you Old Guardian!
wow, well done ! and thanks again for another "easy" guide to a brutal fight ! when I got this map offered during a quest, I was caught by surprise and wondering - "was normal mode really that hard ?? I'm afraid of the heroic fight, which is up next :( "
I was able to do Beast/Horde/Dark Iron with the Alliance soldiers.. didnt use abom because i didnt have the shaman talent, those will work too. hardest one was beast so i followed his deck to a tee.
Thx for the hint bro , im always filling the space for the team with the same assigment , i mean undead with a undead so make some of thoses heroic impossible , now i understand you dont always need to fill with the same assigment
Juan does have a point. If your non-leader minis are not level 20 after slot bonuses, then I recommend they are level 20 on their own. I did not use my leaders much with any of these decks except Baron, so level was not as much of a concern. I am pretty OCD when it comes to getting minis into slots where they get the bonuses but sometimes I have to set that urge aside to get the job done. Pyromancer is essential for this heroic, and I didn't get her into bonus slots in my Tyrion, Murkeye or Baron decks. Bandits were in a Horde slot in my Cairne deck. Both are level 20 without bonuses. Got the job done. On to Tabetha.
I couldn't do it with this comp. I somehow did it with Thaurissan, but I don't know if it was just lucky or something (it was highest lvl army tho, -1.1 lvl only). Maybe it's a skill issue, but on this level of heroics having more levels on minis is crucial (as heroics go on, now I face mostly red difficulty), because when Heroic is on -1.3, -1.4 or -2.1 lvls like here, then it's just too hard to go through it. Or maybe it's just Goreclaw that is too hard. Maybe I will try other bosses in Dustwallow Marsh. Anyway I definitely need to level up my minis, the problem is they need now 12,000 EXP. EDIT: Somehow I managed to beat it with all families. Ufff... Just needed more practice and few more tries. I blame that i wasn't focused enough earlier. With underleveling heroic stages we have to play the best we can and make the most accurate plays to counter enemy's minis in proper way and thus making enemy to play differently (depends on how many and which minis we are playing on specific lane).
I used Thurissan as well so I could have slot bonuses for the entire team. That deck probably took me the 2nd least amount of tries, with Baron being the least. You said the key word there in your edit - practice.
Because you cannot use Abomination, Shaman is not worth it here. If you have a Wildcard slot on your Horde Leaders, you can use one of the other armies with Shaman.
Huh, goreclaw didn't use aoe attacks or vultures for you? In my game his attacks are aoe so your chicken strat is worse than counterproductive. This is way easier version, lol.
I don't know what it is, but I have definitely seen Goreclaw take out a pack of chickens at once, with no other minis around or living bomb. I think she might do a tail swipe cleave to units behind her? I noticed it when I tried to distract her with Whelp Eggs to keep my chickens alive longer. She turned to attack the eggs, and then all my chickens went poof.

It is unreal how much harder this is than everything else up to this point. 😳
Just went 5/5 with the team listed for Blackrock. Thanks for the great content!

Chickens really did the job! I also used cheat death for the undead slot, it worked perfectly once my chickens reached the boss! thank yuo OG

Tough fights, but I was able to do it with the help of your guide. Footmen generally worked better for me (they are rare, Abo still uncommon).

Yeah if you got level 20 minis

Only able to get this one done with Rend so far since he flies and can avoid much of the mobs. It is painful

Awesome
Why can't horde use shaman please? I don't understand.
Because you cannot use Abomination, Shaman is not worth it here. If you have a Wildcard slot on your Horde Leaders, you can use one of the other armies with Shaman.
Out of curiosity, could you swap the Rogue and Abomination to get their respective bonuses?
I placed the minis in the wrong slots to show the fight with lower-level minis.
@@OldGuardian Gotcha man, appreciate it!
This one is ROUGH!
My Hero! 😂😅

Goreclaw does not have an aoe attack. If there is aoe, it comes from some mini. The game does not change the boss just for you.

Yeyyy
i can't do the Undead one. 😢
