Your bench is like mind needs a good tidy up next job today one of my tractor unit doe's the Same with one trailer the indicator are the wrong way round but your fix is good with them little plugs a great video allways great to watch you would make a great teacher
A messy bench is a busy bench.... that's what I keep telling myself. I first used the JST connectors a few years ago, it was an easy fix for an annoying problem.
I have some 0603 and 0402 SMD in my parts draw and I'm thinking of giving them ago, I might even go 'dynamic' on them if I can spare 4 outputs. left and right take 2 outputs but I need 4 more so I'll have a look at how I've got things set up 👍
@@TeriWilde I split them into sets of 4, 4 with front wheel arch indicator either side and 4 plus rear indicators. So basically 4+1 in each front and rear indicator sockets. Works like a charm with mfc03.
@@Yetiboy_FCTT I'm going to try 6 x 0402 in the front and rear and 1 in the side repeater... and also use orange resin to fill the front indicator... I'm just gonna try experimenting with different ways.
Teri!!!! Where did you get those "Hamburger LEDs" from? More importantly, can I get some? You've just solved another problem with my upcoming custom Globe Liner build.... I've got the quad round headlamps kit from Garden Trucking, but none of my LEDs I've got put out decent light.... Especially for pitch black Arizona nights. There's a lot going on with me right now, NONE of it good. I'll fill you in after I finish watching your video, on a PM..... Cheers, my friend! 🍺 🍻
The Hamburger Lights were already fitted to this trailer when the owner bought it. it's an aftermarket bumper that replaces the stock Hercules Hobby rear end. www.astecmodels.uk/catalog/all-products?keywords=rear+Bumper&search_in_description=1&page=2 For the bright LED, search your preferred site for COB means Chip "OnBaord" and are used in small flashlights.
I didn't buy them myself but you can get them from AsTec Models (UK) www.astecmodels.uk/catalog/all-products?keywords=rear+Bumper&search_in_description=1&page=2
JST is an abbreviation for Japan Solderless Terminal.... basically, they're terminals that use crimps rather than solder and they can come in various forms.
Awesome awesome awesome video thanks for sharing

On my 770S front indicators I used 8 x 0603 smd LEDs in each pod. Lights the entire strip.

Hiya how did you get the reverse lights to work as Tamiya trailer light kit doesn’t include it? Thanks
@@shaneconcer3483 just a simple 2 wire circuit which runs from the reverse lights directly into the MFC reverse light socket using a Y lead.
We’re did you get the better lights from please.
