BA actually needs you to have good domain knowledge and then at least a basic understanding of how tech works !! So although a degree in tech is preferred, but if you do not have tech degree you should have some domain knowledge in the field of banking or finance or insurance or billing or telecome. You can go for any short term courses or boot camp for BA to get your foot in the door and then you can take on from their !!
