I miss the food and desserts so much looking back at this vlog god 😩😫 japans the place I think I would visit over and over at least once a year and not get sick of it ever 😭 the 7-elevens, cheap food, drinks…ok I gotta stop LOL
@@yvonnieng yes!! I went in 2019 during the height of cherry blossom season and it was so, so pretty. I tried to go at the same time again this year, but they bloomed after I had left. :') Oh well, I was just happy to spend my 30th birthday in my fave country :D
Ugh I swear, your Asia (Korea/Japan) trips/vlogs are fueling me for my eventual trip back to my birthplace Japan. Haha, I'm so stoked and your vlogs enhance that! :D
Japan looks so nice and the food looks so good at some point in my life i want to go, glad your feeling better after passing out, the vlogs are always a comfy vibe and hope you enjoyed your trip
I loved it, one of these days you’ll go and when you do make sure to get the matcha fondant haagan daz ice cream from the convenience store don’t forget this
These vlogs always manage to make me smile for some reason. Whether it's the chaos of the claw games or the yummy food or the beautiful cherry blossoms. Glad the first leg of the trip was so memorable, even if your body had to hit the reset button on you. Happy to hear the fainting spell wasn't too bad. Thanks for another awesome video. Can't wait to see what's next!
I’m so happy you got to go see the cherry blossoms. They’re so beautiful ❤ Also, all the food there looks so yummy 😋 Thank you for sharing your experience and great vlog!
7:50 omg Meguro River is my favorite place to enjoy the cherry blossoms. Such a pleasantly nice stroll along the river too. 13:47 I like this transition choice by Marcus. Conveys the energy of a hectic street food market but it was only like 5 seconds of footage. Very effective! 16:27 Justice for Brandon! What a fun start to your trip! Can't wait for the next few vlogs!
I see her vlogs and I just watch, they are so cozy, fun and informative lol like I’m for sure going to try to try all the stuff she said was yummy. She’s like a tour guide 😂❤
Hey Yvonne! I’m loving your recent home cooking videos lately. I love the comfiness it brings! Might be my fave content of yours ❤ More of these please ❤ I love seeing you do things you love! ❤❤❤
waittt this is such a coincidence because i was just watching your last video with the ube cinnamon rolls!! perfect timing to binge watch more vlogs~ thank you for bringing more comfort and motivation!! it really makes me want to do better for myself watching your vlogs
Yes, let me live vicariously through your vlog. Can’t wait for my visit this May. What is your favorite dessert that is a must try in Japan? Thinking about getting the coffee you mentioned from lawsons. Anw, STAY HYDRATED EVERYONE! 🌊
I legit love the red bean mochi at the convenience stores and this new haagen daz matcha fondant ice cream that they have - it’s THE BESt!! Can get it at any convenience store as well!! The fluffy French toast place was really good too!!
Always love your travel vlogs it looks so fun and I’m glad you were ok after you fainted you have amazing friends. Thanks for sharing your fun adventures in Japan Yvonne
omg thank you for putting the names and addresses of the places/restaurants you went to! i just went to japan (i think right after you went tbh) but i'm already trying to plan out what i want to do next time i go lol
I have fainted 3 times in my life (I'm only 20) and the first time was so scary!! It was confusing. But the other times it was just like "woah, buzzy and eepy". Love your vlogs Yvonnie!!!
ahhh you couldn't publish this like 2 days earlier when I was still there the yuzu lemonade is an absolut must! also discovered these language de chat cookies in 7elven which are sooo good
I love watching Yvonne’s vlogs, when she said she was about to faint and told her friends it reminded me of when I’m working out and I start seeing like little black and white dots, I make sure to take a breather and drink some water.
Ahh so comfy! I’m jealous of you getting to travel, have you thought of/seen collecting stamps in Japan? Another TH-camr I follow alway collects stamps in Japan and they’re so cool and pretty! It’s a fun souvenir to bring home and collect to remember where all you’ve been and such :,) And also with fainting, it’s such a scary and yucky feeling omg.. I don’t think I’ve ever fully fainted but I’ve been close to it several times and the loss of hearing and vision is so disorienting. You feel so out-of-body and wobbly. I’m glad your friends were there, it comes on so quick sometimes!
I haven’t!! That sounds like a super cute idea 😱 you might be onto something!! And yeah I think I just have a few times now so I already can feel when it’s coming and I just dread knowing it’s approaching 😭 same!! They’re the best 🥲
I remember fainting for the first and only time in my life. It was because im not a morning person and instead of coffee i had energy drinks. I passed out from dehydration. I just remember standing up and then just darkness and i fell to my knees and my head hit the floor. Super scary
Just making sure you know, Ramen Nagi has locations in LA now, in the Century City mall and Arcadia. I can't comment on whether it's the same as Japan (I'm sure it's not) but fyi 😋
Any plans to visit less touristy spots? Kamakura, Enoshima, Kanazawa, Kyushu, Okinawa, Aomori, Fujikawaguchiko are literally so easy to get to. Tokyo cafes, Asakusa, Harajuku, Akihabara is fine for 1st trips but I always feel like I want to see more everytime I come back
Just wondering which airline, you took this time and what is your critique on it? We are heading back in the fall since 2018(?) so I am a bit curious on other peep's experiences. Also, not too sure if it is still here, but someone told me that there is a Starbucks overlooking the Shibuya crossing. So, a perfect time lapse view.
okay just a warning for some folk, golden gai ramen nagi is super fishy anchovy tasting broth. We have ramen nagi in the states and it's mostly tonkotsu based and I love it(this also exists in japan I think, but only one of the ramen nagis). Thought that we couldn't go wrong with ramen nagi in japan but it was sooo salty and overpoweringly fishy for our group, even some fish lovers. I don't like seafood so obviously I'm super biased but man that bowl is something i won't forget, it scares me to this day. At least it was an experience LOL. edit: i might as well put my favorite ramen spot while I'm at it, it's kikanbo - a short walk from akihabara. If you like spicy ramen this is my favorite, with a close second being ramen nagi's red king.
Wow I wanna try that place now!! I do love ramen nagi tho HAHA I loveeeed the fishy anchovy broth since I always taste the tonkotsu one and I don’t mind fishy taste at all 😅😅 but a fair warning I don’t think it’s for everyone either!!

Girl, same!! I'm probably going to Korea next year, but I really also want to spend a little time in Japan as well if I can.
