Dennis Fluttershy. I tried that Platform 9 and 3/4 noclip hack, but I just ended up breaking my nose, and falling on my ass!
That's why I use the Ghost noclip hack. Far better quality and it actually works! However, make sure to back up your save because once you activate it, you can't turn it off and you are stuck in noclip mode forever.

Aaron Greenfield Y'all doing it wrong, you have to open console and type *"sv_cheats 1"* then either *"notarget"* so these idiots won't notice you but if you walk in their triggers they will catch you, you can also type *"ai_disabled 1"* (don't forget to enable people after the trick) or *"noclip"* but ppl will notice you flying through walls you know ;)

2:49 thats no Softlock, it's a Hardlock. A Softlock is, where the game itself is still running, but you can't continue, because you broke all the scripts or something. Hardlock is, the game entirely freezes or crashes. (Softlock would be the scene where Ashley is with you in the Minecart scene and the Event doesn't load and nothing happens when you shoot the Switch and you're stuck, that would be a Softlock)

Same happened to me. I think warning primes some people to expect a jump scare, and so puts them on edge.
The part where Leon says "Hang on Sweetheart" and fly off to the endless pit of horizon literally made me fell down my chair. HAHAHAHAH
Everyday I wish I could wash this game from my memory and restart it all. Such a good game.

His hair disappearing is a transparency draw-ordering issue. The ground is drawn before his hair, which writes to the depth buffer (it probably shouldn't write to the depth buffer) and results in the hair being "behind the transparent wall" so the pixels of the hair behind the wall won't render.

I guess this is kind of what I've wanted all along with this channel. I'm not big on the zoom outs, I like to see characters before their cue, what they're doing around corners, and stuff like what you show here.
I'd love to see a sequence break on a Lego game. Those are all very reliant on sequence order, so to see that would be awesome!

How could you not sequence break while playing as Ashley to see what that does? Or go to places your supposed to play as Ashley with Leon instead?
It's a little disappointing they didn't. You can make Leon do Ashley's crawling animation, which looks pretty funny.

I've watched quite a few speedruns and glitch videos of this game but i hadn't seen almost any of the glitches in this video before now. Great work.
Um, not to be pedantic, but a "soft-lock" and a "crash" isn't the same thing. A soft-lock involves the game becoming unresponsive while stuff like animations and music still play in the background (as opposed to a hard lock, which would be the game freezing entirely), while a "crash" is the game self-terminating due to a fatal error.
Still a fun video though :P

Soft lock can also refer to if the game is running fine but you broke it in some way that it can't continue, right? Like if it were possible to enter a one way area with a locked door but the key is before the "one way" point.
Soft locking is really part of the "game shits the bed" category, not "game is badly designed". Getting trapped behind a door you can't open because the key is on the other side is more of a progression blocker than a "soft lock".

IDEA: Sequence break Mario Kart 8 by going straight to lap three (skipping lap 2) on the three lap tracks like Mount Wario.
I like the addition of a couple of small boundary breaks in this seies that you maybe didn't have the time to add to the main boundary break episodes. Love all these guests too keep up the awesome work!

Great video, but I have one small note. When a game crashes, it's considered a hard lock, not a soft lock. There my autism is pleased now.

This video was unique simply because 80% or so of the things covered were actually discovered, recorded, and edited by me. That's why it made more sense for equal narrators. Usually Shesez does majority of the work on his own - however, since this was a concept I brought to him, it made sense to do it this way.

Vertugo and his tail likely spin while outside the boundary so that the animation that plays won't always be at the same angle every time. Someone probably thought it was immersion breaking seeing the attacks come at the same angle every time, so they set the Vertugo/tail to just spin constantly to alleviate this.

nice finally a good episode again that covers a lot. i played my heart out of this game and when it came to pc i obviously messed with tools around. so i was 100% sure this episode would include nothing i dont know alrdy by messing around casually. but it did! and that rarely happens when an episode is made about games i played for myself.

Hello! Just wanted to say that my family and I have been watching your channel for quite a while now, we're all huge fans of your boundary break series. So far you've covered some really good games and I've never really been able to think of any others that either would be interesting, or even possible. But tonight I was thinking, perhaps the original Alone in the Dark game might be a fun challenge to try one day. It's got such a unique graphical setup that it would be cool to see what you could do with it.
5:15 If anyone is curious- you can actually shoot the four red dots in the ceiling, from the edges of the doorway, before the sequence even starts; and once the sequence is activated after the cut-scene, it will immediately stop.
