As someone who has seizures, it was so nice to see them making the circle around him because it’s so embarrassing having a seizure or a medical emergency in general! And for no reason it’s hard to explain but yeah…
Its embarrassing because its a time when you're completely vulnerable. Those times, if we were to have complete control of the situation, are times we would reserve for specific people

For me it's so scary to think about having a seizure because I have no clue what will happen and the people around me play a big part of whether I'm terrified going into one, or if I feel comfortable and ready to get it over and done with. If I don't know or like anyone near me, I might try to fight off my seizure which often leads to a worse one for me later on
I had a seizure in public and it sucked. I was surrounded by people and when I finally came to I was immediately questioned by a cop. Made me have another right after
i've had full blown asthma attacks in public my friends immediately cover it and help me out when that happens and i keep the medication in my pockets or my locker anyway and i give my friends that info.

Something like this happened a while ago when a goalie took a skate to the neck and was bleeding out. Everyone including the fans where terrified but where willing to help. The goalie survived but it took over 100 stitches. And now we have neck guards from it.
What's unrealistic is the treatment. If you get a spinal chord injury, you have 24 hours to repair it to have any chance of reversing what could be permanent damage.

I have Hydrocephalus and Epilepsy. I really appreciated that the players on both teams put the game aside and focused on protecting him from being seen by lots of people. It can be very frustrating and embarrassing to have something happen around people.

Yes the answer is yes that's exactly what it means Also she talks to him like he's an infant about core stability
I'm not a doctor, but personally I don't like answering these types of questions because I'm worried about making people more agitated than they already are and I often find that rational thought is much harder to process when emotions run high.

As someone who has suffered a severe spinal cord injury after falling when I was boldering, surgery was the only option to save my life. I suffered seizures and severe pain. Today, however I walk, run, breathe and live a relatively normal lifestyle. The only thing is that I’m not aloud to rock climb anymore. I’ve also suffered a severe hip and shoulder injury which have resulted in multiple surgeries over the past few years. So Billy if you ever see this, I hope you are ok and living life to the fullest. ❤🥰❤
ive had 2 hematomas in my life, my 2nd was golfball sized right above my eye, even bigger than that guys, but he seemed to get a soft spot. and I didnt luckily break it, if i did i would've had surgery.

I'm constantly having to relearn how to do things with my body. I have a neurological disability so every so often I can suddenly have more brain damage or spinal damage. I'm always tired, and can often get a bit bitchy with my pain and everything. I'm 22 and I walk with a walking stick, or use a wheelchair depending on the day. The guys reaction here is very appropriate.

Bro, the fact that a full on bench brawl didn't happen from this is literally impossible. To anyone that doesn't watch or know hockey, nothing even remotely close to this would ever happen. That player would have a concussion, and maybe a broken spine, but not this serious stuff. I see kids take these kind of hits and brush it off like nothing happened. The players would instantly try to kill the guy who delivered the hit if this did happen, the officials would not call a time-out, the announcer doesn't tell the audience all the details of whats happening, they would call for a stretcher to take the guy off so the fans don't have to watch and play can resume, security wouldn't let a bunch of random doctors and a camera man onto the ice, and finally those players would have been wearing visors or cages as this is looks like a junior league.
I doubt that one squirt of alcohol would sanitize that drill bit. In real life the patient would go into septic shock because bacteria would go right to his brain. Tools in the ER are autoclaved and are used in a clean area, not on an ice rink.
