Thanks for the heads up. I’ve just bought one so if the installation goes wrong, I’ll blame you, but if correct - I’ll take the credit. Thanks for sharing.
Great video, looks like an excellent product from O.R.E. I have a question. I have a NAS rear step fitted from Masai which the owner confirms is the original Land Rover version which they have galvanized and powder coated. In a later video I notice that you have a NAS rear step. So here's the question. In order to fit the O.R.E. wheel carrier would I need to remove the NAS step in order to get the bolts through the Cross Member?
Whilst it's a nice bit of kit, Mantec are the market leaders for rear wheel carriers, used extensively on NATO vehicles, cost a bit more, but are pretty much unbreakable !
Ive just bought one of these. Would you be able to use the spare wheel as a step to reach the roof, and use it regularly? Or is "capable" of holding ones weight, , just don't do it regularly
Great video! I have been looking at buying one of the O.R.E. Wheel carriers for awhile now - your video really really helped!
Ah thanks so much! Still so happy with it!
Just bought one. Thanks for the video - will help massively with the install
I’m so glad it did! Thanks for the comment! 👍👍
Seeing as I just received my carrier, this was awesome!

Hey! I refitted my carrier with the NAS step in place, all the bolts went in with some jiggling. Mine is a hunting nas step though 👍
These are a superb bit of kit, even an idiot like me can fit one, really good video.
Hi, Really enjoying your content. Do you have a discount code for ORE wheel carriers?
