    From St Leonards in the UK. Wonderful footage, red lead steam locomotive 1709 looks an Australian T9 with its 4 small wheels and 4 drive wheels

    What a great collection of old rolling stock , I remember most of them , especially the S trucks , The K and U trucks and not forgetting the Wooden coal hoppers , ( Many of which used to roll past our home at Tarro ) , pulled of course be steam !

    Had me thinking tho did the train use triangle prior to Mossvale and back up to station? As it's in the same configuration coming back to Mittagong. Cheers

    Thanks for this video. I was not aware that the Braemar branch line was open in 2005. Do they still use it for heritage trains?

      Braemar is on the Picton to Mittagong loopline, the short section from Mittagong to Braemar was used for sleeper trains because there's a manufacture that makes them there, no trains have run there for a while though
