- "Life needs money because life needs comforts, life needs good food, life needs good clothes, good houses. Life needs beautiful literature, music, art, poetry. Life is vast! And a man who cannot understand classical music is poor. He is deaf. He may hear -- his eyes, his ears, his nose, all his senses will be perfectly right medically -- but metaphysically...

Whyy paid
@@Alisha_Pandey_ Dear Friend, Maybe you are interested in hearing *Osho's* response to the question " *Why must everybody who wants to do meditation or listen to the lecture pay for this?* " Available here 👉 th-cam.com/video/5ow31uad0Iw/w-d-xo.html 💖Perhaps upbringing and conditioning makes people think that anything ' _spiritual_ ' should be free. Osho's insight is that the mind gives scant value to anything that is free. Nothing around Osho was free. He reminded us again and again of the importance to remember that freedom comes only from responsibility and one such responsibility is that of paying. Osho has responded to many questions in this regards. *Some text excerpts here* , another excerpt is available as video from a press interview. " _You are ready to go to the movie and pay for it; why should you not pay for your meditation and the lecture if you want to hear it?_ " " _You ask why you have to pay here? The price that is asked is nothing; it is just the beginning of learning a certain lesson_ : that *one has to pay for everything, and ... CERTAINLY for meditation* -- _because it is the highest thing in life_ ." " *You pay for everything in life, why not for your meditation?* " 💖 Another suggestion to watch Osho talking about this subject is here OSHO: *Selling Bliss **th-cam.com/video/yRo_L1RiGWw/w-d-xo.html*

A mystic I met told me to use money with love. Most people have all kinds of fear, judgments, worries, stress about money. And that's the energy that gets associated with the money you have. So instead the money that you give and the money that comes to you, treat it with loving energy. This works like a charm and the money then brings you more love and fulfillment. There are no worry energies around this 'love money'.
Can you elaborate on thi
How so?
😯😯😯this makes so much sensee💗💗💗💗
I gave away most of my power and great material richness i possessed and it was a Lot...now I'm poor, and nobody gives a single fook about me for 20 years in a row, but I am still rich from within and loving in the same way, and that's my treasure volt
@@s1lmal1r1on Altough nobabody has cared. Still much respect for this. The inner wealth is most important. And for you I think making this decision has given you so much more inner wealth. So congratz.
Today he appeared in my dream. i touched his feet, and now i am here to listen to him after a very long time. I had almost ignored him but he never ignore anybody.❤
How can I see him in dreams
He kept roasting everything he didn't like, even jazz music! 😂 My love towards him grows every minute of every day
True! The only thing that is stopping me from not considering my God is because he said he is not God and there is no God but, I love him to the fullest he is everything to me❤😊
Just the voice of Osho is enough for me. It is the most amazing music there it.
Yeah, and just looking at him get me in a different state
Yeah I agree
You are amazing!
Idolatry
I wish people asked Osho more of these kinds of questions, instead of "I'm going crazy and I'm getting swallowed by a black hole. What do I do?"
lol
Lol
Feed it, next question
😂🤣🤣
Just live the way you think not the way you listen to motivational speakers osho was an inlitghtened person not a life or a processes to be succeful
I like how he is spiritual, yet practical. Be honest and humble, but go and get that money!
spirituality is literally just being practical. it literally is the art of seeing what's right infront of you and observe everything around you. what can be more practical than that
@@varunkj155 yeah. Just as the late Anthony De Mello said, nothing is more practical than spirituality.
Spiritual means being practical
He had dozens of Rolls Royce, so obviously he justifies getting rich
Spiritual doesn't mean delusional.
Reminds me of maslows hierarchy of needs.. Most people are still in need of the most basic necessities

Watching Osho talk about money so I can convince myself that doing my research paper isnt all that important, and that graduating isnt all that important
free from hunger, free from poverty .. he is absolutely true! to be spiritual now a days u should be rich!
Rich is an overstatement. Free from poverty, hunger and other basic needs I'd say atleast needs to be fulfilled
@@subhashchandna5235 that is Rich my dear
Aint nothing wrong about being rich and fulfilled!!
Being free from hunger and poverty isn't the same as being rich. People should have the basic requisites and be content with little, there is no requirement for all the glitz and glitter.
MrGunwitch Your right and the world is being forced by Nature to understand that now
I found him only now but his words are the ones that match my mind. It is like he is reiterating my heart.
Ho studiato x 30 anni la Bibbia con testimoni di geova e ora sono uscito ma le poche parole lette dal maestro mi hanno dato una forsa e una conoscenza di cose nascoste che sono dentro di noi in modo sublime grazie OSHO
Sufi , mystic , Saint, guru , master ...he is something different
the cloth color he picks for this talk perfectly fits the subject
Devotees offerings, Osho doesn't bother all these.
It was probably a coincidence
He most had answered many questions this very way
He died at age 66
Lol
Ohhh.. so its like the lady asked the question about money or whatever, then Osho was like "wait let me dress in green for that question" or you mean that Osho already knew what she's gonna ask and hence dressed that way. Be a little more conscious. Thats all he want us to be.. 🙏🙏

I never understood people who say they lost respect for someone because they disagree with one of their beliefs. I don't think that is respect you are speaking of in the first place. That is close minded thinking.
I gave up on commercial music in the seventies, love classical music and jazz.

True
Actually, money has no value as such, the only value it has is an item/service etc which can be purchased. For example, a billion dollars is not needed on a desert island. Therefore, money is nothing. The tool that is needed to experience life to the fullest is important.
But money bring chaper to there
Billion dollar can make canel thru the desert ..which not only fulfil ur thirst but whole desert habitant for a very long time .
Idk man. We live in a society where money rules which is the unfortunate truth. Struggling to make ends meet is no way live.
What’s the name of the desert island you’re on right now?
I think this all misses the point, the reason for anger is that money is both simultaneously good and bad (infinite number of reasons), so the spiritual aspect must trancend the money.
The gap between Osho sir talks is extremely peaceful....
I still Love OSHO and I still love Jazz…But I’ll look more into classical music
but i still have the best feelings just see him speak, so much beauty. love him with all my heart.
Intrinsic & mercilessly truthful, that makes Osho unique...yes life needs money...so let's understand it right
I wanted to meet Osho so badly. I met him in a book when I was 17...

That's truth. First earn money and then strive for spirituality. Before that everything is a trap.

es característica de un maestro iluminado: no necesita esfuerzo mental para hablar y destilar sabiduría... por eso no hay movimiento ocular. El movimiento ocular está conectado con los pensamientos, Osho es no-mente.

Yogananda said the way to recognize a true guru or a living Buddha is in the eyes. If the eyes dart around and blink frequently, you can be sure that person is not in GOD consciousness.
I love osho but what type of jazz did he listen to😅
Kinda racist too!
S_Mug that comes from a place of ignorance and not awareness it’s just sound I wish more people could interpret music differently than a form of expression as it is that, the same reason music brings people together and does beautiful things it can separate people
He's actually contradicting himself here. He's known to do it, but I find it odd he did it here. The word "music" is just a word. You can apply it to anything you like to listen to.
This man sound crazy. Billie Holiday is a God.
bebop
He is alwayssss spot on with his answers. Whenever I feel that I am stuck and indecisive, I straightaway turn to osho
He's not even talking about money ppl. He's talking about the elegance and beauty of the appreciation of raw untouched natural physical existence.
This is not his complete talk
I like his attitude towards money.
All music is subjective. it's just arranged sounds, when you get right down to it. Different genres appeal to different tastes. One never has more intrinsic value than another. No form of music has any significance that the individual does not give to it.
Personally, I like jazz. It embraces dissonance in a way that many other genres bypass. Those, who play jazz, have learned the rules of music and decided to break those rules; the essence of deviance and freedom. This is the value I give to it
Ever heard Indian classical music?
The fact that you talk about dissonance tells you that there are intrinsic values in music
You simply nailed it! But Osho is just using this as an example and it is not to be taken at face value 😉
This Man is Spot On.
Osho will always be misunderstood.
You are misunderstood to me.
Not always. A time will come when all will be awakened.

I like Osho. Sometimes.
Jazz is a music genre that requires extensive study. Yes, classical music is stereotypically refined.
But if you cannot understand jazz, you cannot understand the music in a waterfall, or in a leaf falling, or in a forest breathing.
This was ofensive, not only because he blatantly talked about stuff his intuition barely notices, but also because he actually didn't explain why he respects money.
Exactly i have studied music , jazz is extremely complex wayyyy more than classical music , but i respect all forms of music , classical music doesn't make u anykind of superior
@@sahebchakraborty9863 It makes complexity is not important as Osho says complex things are often appreciated if you hear any jazz music and hear classical music of tanseen don't say that jazz will sound more beautiful, the sound is important not complexity.
Yes, this was his weakest speech i've seen so far. The slur against jazz seems subliminally racist too. He parrots the ideas of Westerners in the 1930s-60s.
@dave
Just because he has a beard and a fanbase, doesn't mean he is infallible. His opinion on his favorite book and favorite music genre are just that: opinion. Untestable, unverifiable statements.
You can listen to his insight.
But if you think this man,
a human,
who criticizes many things,
is infallible,
and cannot be criticized,
then you are a fool.
@dave you're the exact type of person Osho probably doesn't respect. You take his word as absolutely infallible like he's a god, which he doesn't care to be called.
Bravo Osho you are the best
I am sooo happy and greatful for this chanel...
Surf music is special. There are do many different types. Quiet, roaring, distant, loud, soft, it’s endless depending on a multitude of circumstances.
I, and all other musicians who have a deeper understanding of music, would disagree with Osho concerning the jazz music. In order to be able to play jazz, you have to understand how classical music is constructed (theory, etc.) and how it works FIRST OF ALL - it's the absolute foundation of jazz music and NOT vice versa. Jazz is a very (!) complexe and rich gerne - Osho shouldn't judge about it only because he doesn't have a understanding of this form of art.
His knowledge is pretty limited in most of things. Overgeneralizes unnecessarily
You missed the whole point of what he was trynna say😂🤦🏽♂️
I also find great improvisation in jazz music, what is essentially channeling the devine. Also lots of nature elements like water, fire air and earth are in jazz, to me it's music. By far the most effort goes in to classical music, I can agree with Osho on that one.
His classical music is not bach. He is from India not same over there
Osho..a mí me encanta el Jazz.! y no me siento como una mona. Me siento feliz con el ritmo profundo de esa música originaria del espíritu del África. No importa si a ti no te gusta.. pero, sí.. creo que pierdes mucho muchísimo..!

I bristle whenever I hear his comments on jazz. Classical music has been in me for as long as I can remember, but one thing I've observed over the years is that jazz (and funk for that matter--and who knows what else) attracts people who tend to be far freer in their minds than those who appreciate classical music, which is obviously one of the reasons it sounds the way it does. I find myself agreeing with much of his views, but that was an unfortunate and unusually closed-minded statement.
Osho is like lord Krishna, Wisdom and the Gita to me🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏❤🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
This is amazing. I just posted a video response to my friend Freeman's video "You Chose to Be Here" talking about this very topic. In my response I talk about the importance of money and it's connection to human evolution and our biological matrix. I also state that it's the corruption of money that is the problem, not money itself.
Osho used to listening AC DC----OSHO ROCKS
how do you know he liked ACDC?
He is not really against Jazz. As I read somewhere else, it is because it is very limited, superficial and has very less impact of you " as a life" as compared to other examples of nature's music he refers to. Please know more about "Nadabrahma (entire universe is only sound)" for this to make more sense, this a a deep science.
Thanks Sreekumar, that makes sense. All the arguments here about Jazz are not taking the whole into consideration.
He is right. First financial independence then become spiritual❤️
And my life ends in becoming financially freedom
You heard what you wanted to hear.
That is not all he says of course. Remember that. Osho includes everything.
Listen jazz can be such a fantastic experience like listening to a waterfall or the wind. Depends on the listener
I think any musician have to learn a lot before playing jazz , classical music is a standard of highness , i agree that classical music touches hearts .
But jazz is playing football with your heart , a lot of complex feelings together , classical is movements and sections , a happy section followed by a relaxing section , or a grieving section, jazz is mixxing all that in a single song , it is intense
But You dont have to understand music to feel it
Very well said :)
Speech of Osho very deep impressive and beautiful

i feel having security in life is what Osho means knowing that the trivial things are taken care of, that free's you from everything, i guess thats why his decipels have mostly been very successful rich beings its almost about levels then answers, if the mind is filled with struggles it is the last thing to achieve enlightenment, but i feel it helps to start wherever you are, as a coping tool it can set your mind at rest.

Thanks for everything. You are a special person. Great MAN.
Reading your comment i remembered something that i read in one of his books: "whatever you think about yourself, you should think about everyone. If you think yourself is a special person, so everyone is a special person, and if everybody is special so everybody's common. If you think you're common so everybody's common, no one is special." The book of mirdad , is for the author Michael naime
Having learned western classical music and also having practiced Jazz for a while, I can say - Osho has never really experienced the magic of Jazz. Its evident in his comments in this video. A true musician or music aficionado would appreciate the beauty of every genre.
We should not judge and undermine any music others appreciate although we may not enjoy it ourselves. Music that doesn’t need a lot of training should be appropriate because it is enjoyed by our brothers and sisters.
@@alemtewelde9591 Problem with this statement is that Jazz is probably the hardest genre of music to master, as i takes years to even understand and properly play the musical language.
My master🤗💛
One of the wisest talk I have ever heard about money. Even speeches of economists and financiers, let alone the speeches of religious people, appear poor compared to this one.
Also, his comments about jazz put a nice dent in the respect I had for him. If you actually know anything about how music works, how it's constructed, jazz is a highly organized form of music that requires many years of dedicated study to master. The vast majority of classical musicians can't even begin to touch jazz. It's way over their heads. They're stuck to the written score and can't improvise. Not to mention the connection between the freedom of expression that is sought in improvisation and the kind of spiritual freedom Osho talks about. How does he not see that?
Come on Osho, you're smarter than that!
He is fucking with you man.
Relax
Thank you, i loved this.
I would suggest to everyone interested in these questions about life to read a book called *The Present* and you can find it on *Truthcontest* . I read and listened many things and theories but this book explains it all in such a simple way. Definitely a must-read for every person on spiritual path. Good luck, fellows :)
6:28 “You'll find better music in a waterfall.”
I like Osho, and I like his way of thinking, but I disagree with his opinion about Jazz music. Jazz is on the top of music's evolution. That is what I think
He's a namaste guy, you see this comparison with the waterfall, flute and this things more Zen, that is his role hahaha
Money is a device to eliminate greed pertaining to perishable goods. With the introduction of money, we can accumulate wealth without worrying about waste. This doesn't solve the problem. The problem is greed. If there was a severe lack a greed, and an increase in compassion: there would be no need for money.
Every greedy action you take causes the world to become worse. If we all give ourselves up to each other and trust each other, over the years the whole world will be this way.
I think many people have been saying that they are disappointed when he says about jazz music because in reality they are not listeners , they are simple followers who dont contest themselves , only agree with everything that has been said ... I totally agreee that he lost himself talking about jazz music , after all nobody is perfect even osho ;)
