Imagine my surprise (only a year ago) to discover that a bona fide surviving member of Bob Wills' Texas Playboys lived just a couple miles away from me. After meeting Jerry Case, learning his history, picking a little bit with him, and hearing his fascinating stories, I invited him over to the house for an interview about his career.
