I was solo on the Edge Rome to Ft. Lauderdale about 17 months ago. It was my first Celebrity cruise. I loved Celebrity and Edge so much that I'm taking Lady K. to Alaska on Edge in a few days. It will be all firsts for her. First time visiting Seattle & Alaska and first Celebrity cruise.
NCL gives specialty dining as part of their 'Free at Sea' promotion, So I have had specialty there technically four times. But we went to Cagney's twice because I love the 20 oz. porterhouse. I've never done their specialty dining on any other line. I am seriously thinking about Raw on 5 though.
Paul Newman says the maximum number of eggs is fifty, BTW. (Thon's guid enouch fur me. )

We dined at raw on 5 in our opinion it was the best of the specialty restaurants in terms of food quality will go back next cruise.
We did look at the menu, but decided against it, as we already spent a fair amount already Pre-Cruise! But would be tempted by it if we can afford to cruise Celebrity again in the future! 😂
This was a 10-egg review, guys! Glad you limited your intake of "buhguhs" and fries! Those are definitely NOT what cruise food should be about! Eden is eggless--noted. 5000 eggs suits me fine if that's how strongly you feel. Doing this cruise in February to NZ next year. Where was this cruise to? I see the Roof Top Garden plants weren't all covered up in plastic on your cruise. They are in Aus and NZ. Charming video as usual! Happy travels!
Aww, thanks for your lovely comment! 😃 There was so much choice of food on Edge, luckily we didn't have to limit our intake to just poolside grub! We bet this beautiful ship would be great to travel on to NZ! 😍 We cruised around the Western Med and visited France, Spain and Italy. Wonder why they cover the plants in plastic? Thank you so much for watching!! 😃
We 100% agree with the 3 eggs on Le Petit Chef. We cruised Celebrity in Alaska (seriously best cruise ever) and were so excited to try this restaurant. It was fun and unique, but from a food perspective it was just alright. Much better venues on the ship. But everyone should try it at least one just for the show.
Completely agree, the food was very underwhelming compared to the other onboard dining options. But the experience is definitely worth it at least once! Oh wow! Alaska sounds amazing, another destination on our "to visit" list! 🏔️

5,000 eggs!!! Haha. Brilliant. I've heard a lot of good things about the food and service on Celebrity. I should hope so as they are pretty pricey. Especially now as they changed what you get with their all in package.
Haha! 😂 Amy definitely thought it was that good! The food and service was definitely excellent on Celebrity, although as you say, when you're paying a premium price, you kind of expect a premium product! Nathan was extremely pleased that he managed to book the cruise, before they made the changes! 🤪
@@NamyDoesCruising One line I really want to try is Azamara. Those little ships look lovely. Food looks great and they go to some great ports.

We have our Marella Discovery Caribbean cruise coming up in March. Next year we are planning on going to universal in Florida for 2 weeks for their new park so saving for that. 💰💰

Hello! Thanks for watching and your lovely comment 😃 On Edge, you can choose which Main Dining Room you dine at each night. Obviously, if you want to secure a seat at one of the Specialty Restaurants onboard - then we would recommended to book in advance before the cruise, so you can select the time that best suits you! Plus, you usually save a little bit of money that way too! Hope this helps!
