- In this video I show you two hot cocoa candle DIY ideas, including how to make whipped wax, marshmallows and realistic chocolate sauce for candles. I will also share ways to fight candle frosting.
The first hot cocoa candle has marshmallows on top with chocolate gratings. The second hot cocoa candle (starts at 3:44) is decorated with whipped wax and a very realistic looking chocolate sauce, which is made with gel wax.

Absolutely gorgeous looking candles!!! The marshmallows 😍😍😍 seriously I’m in awe. You asked about cleaning stuff with wax in. I simply scrape off as much as I can, then I use hot water out the kettle to melt off any little bits and then stick it in the dishwasher. Also with the frosting... a bit controversial for my method but I actually pour very hot! Like 65-70. Also I pour in a room that’s quite warm. It takes longer to set but I have limited frosting that way
Thank you Chris :) Thanks for sharing your method of cleaning! I was afraid to put them in the dishwasher in case the bit of wax left on them cloggs up something. I shall try pouring very hot, hopefully that will help with frosting.
I find putting things in freezer makes the wax slide right off :) love your work
Thank you so much for the support and tip!
Thought I was watching Anna Delvey do candles with the intro 🤣
Looking good. It's cool seeing the ice cube trays timelapse :)
Thank you :) I love the candle setting timelapses too :D
Hi looking very very nice candle
thank youso much! Hopeing to make more soon!
I clean my piping bag in a bucket and warm water and dawn soap, for the metal tip I clean it with my heat gun.
great tips!
Nice ,I will also try at age of 61 year,s as hobby ,how ever I made different fancy candel since last 20 year,s as a hobby 🙏👍🌹love from india 🙏👍🌹
Thank you so much, would love to see your results!
Really Nice! Thanks
Thank you!
Great video..ty for sharing with others! I use a scraper to scrape the insides of my bags all of it comes right out easily,(its a scraper tool meant for those stoneware dishes but even a small ruler or credit card would work).. for the bowls just use a heat gun to remelt every bit in the bowl and pour it and any scraps into a mold for later use can remelt it..same with leftover frosting you had..try a different wax that isnt all soy and you wont have as much frosting..or add a bit of a harder wax to it.but some frosting is common anyway no matter what..love the marshmallows..they came out cute and done easily!
Thank you great tips! And yes I am very happy with the marshmallows!
Awesome video! Thank you! And not boring 😂
thank you!
I love your work!!!!🥰🥰🥰
thank you so much!
👍🏻👍🏻 can i use wax sand?
I've never actually used wax sand but please let me know if you try :)
Very 😎 cool
Thank you!
How do you stop the wax from going hard in the bag? I am having a nightmare with mine 😢
You have to try and use it as soon as the wax is thick enough - but make sure not to try and pipe until it doesn't fall off a spoon. I think smaller batches of wax also makes this easier.
I hope this helps!
Awe..
Hi I love your video was so nice , what wax did you use for the chocolate sauce ? Thanks :)
It's gel wax :)
The wax is gel wax ok
Where do you get your jars?
I find a lot second hanf online or in charity shops!
j'essaye de faire la chantilly je la fouette mais quand je la met dans une poche a douille elle devient très dure
It's a very delicate balance - and can need a few attempts to keep enough heat
i recommend you to wait to pour the soy in the glass, this will not make marks when it gets cold.
Thank you for this tip, will definitely keep in mind for future candles
Lovely..hope u didnt eat it later
I didn't but definitely gave me a craving for hot chocolate!
