R5 3600 RTX 2060 6gb 16gb RAM Sata Crucial 500gb SSD how well can i run this game with this specs, it says i need Super model of my card with 8gb, i at least want Textures High and other Low/Medium settings (shadows can stay low) Am just wondering what FPS would i be getting?
From what I've tested so far View distance - vegetation only effects how far it is until ground vegetation is loaded (not trees / bushes etc). doesn't offer any 'unfair advantage' although it does make the ground at a distance appear more of a blank slate, which would make hunters easier to see up against it
@@RenTGen666 It's the least demanding setting for game next to anisotropic filtering. Only an issue if you run out of VRAM which causes the game to load assets to disk drive, which you don't want. Basically use as much as your VRAM will allow.

What exactly will increasing sharpness in hunt showdown graphics settings DLSS do? I have DLSS quality., running 4k 117 fps (capped in nvidia control panel) on an lgc2 42 inch tv. 3090 card, 14900k, 64 GB memory. Thanks
There should be a balance of quality and fps. Setting everything to low is ridiculous on anything but a geriatric card. Visibility is for people who want to get an advantage at the cost of the experience of the game.
If you're not using geforce experience or another program to "optimize" then it absolutely does impac your games. just make sure you have the permissions set correctly so NVIDIA control panel is prioritized over the in-game settings. Unless someone can correct me here? I don't work in industry anymore...
He's using a 240hz monitor @ 1440p so I'm guessing he wants the frames since he can actually benefit from it. Also less distractions and more visibility.
@@C_Becker some of us don't have great internet offerings so we try to reduce the delay via input lag as much as possible to equal things out a wee bit. ping abusing aint as big a deal anymore as well.
In the old engine version if you had post processing set to low it caused less visibility in beetle view (looked more black). Not sure if that is the case still.
I feel like I'm being CPU bottlenecked pretty hard but honestly not sure. I'm using a 300hz 2560x1440p monitor. The following are my PC specs: GPU: RTX 4080 Super CPU: Ryzen 9 5900x RAM: 64gb 3600mhz The games on a pretty fresh 2tb m.2 pcie4 SSD (with like 1.5tb unused storage). I am playing at pretty much low on everything but my frames hover around 100~120 inside compounds and running around randomly throughout the map I can expect up to 180fps. I'm not sure if this is normal but I remember seeing hunt hitting way higher frames (in the past with better CPU and weaker GPU). What do you think? If you do think it's a CPU bottleneck would you recommend me purchasing the 7900 series (so new MB, Ram and CPU), just get a x3d in 5000 series, or wait for a new ryzen chip?
For comparison I have a 4070 and a 5800x: DLSS Quality (it’s blurry but it saves me like 40 damn FPS) I have textures and object quality on ultra, filtering 16x, view distance & light distance on ultra, everything else to the lowest sliders. My high and low are 95-150 FPS.
I have a question about what you said about uncaping your fps makes less Input latency. Do think it would be better to do that and have an Inconsistent frame rate or in my case would it be better to cap my FPS at 144 so I don't have an inconsistent frame rate?
My FPS is about 100 to 120. than sometimes when I load in the game i get only 55 to 60 FPS. than after I did all the setting changes here it is 110 to 120 FPS consistently for awhile than it drop to 50 to 60 FPS again. than IF i restart my computer or restart the game 1 to 6 times I will get back my fps of 110 to 120. I am not sure if the game isn't registering with my NVDA RTX 2060 or what. anyone has the same issue?
Try setting VRAM target to 80% and don't change any graphics settings while in the match. Also make sure you've got the latest drivers. All those steps eliminated most of the FPS drops for me, even with DLSS turned off.
@jimj3700 @jimj3700 the vram thing doesn't work i change it to 80% and 70% it still doesn't work. However it is just for hunt showdown. Not sure if it is the computer not properly processing or prioritizing this particular app. But others are not having this problem so that is not exactly the issue as well.
Devs took their life to make the best looking game possible, thank you to change it into a 2014 game 🤣. HDR is just beautiful, you can play a bit with contrast to see better the players.

Anyone saw FPS drops in certain areas? I played 2 matches today one was without any issue but the second game i had pretty bad FPS drops and couldnt fix it at all....
Thanks dude! i had massive issues even tho i have quite the good pc... there are still some specific areas on the new map that drop my FPS from 120 down to 23.... its really wild
the fps drops are usually at near around outside the cave, from what i found. my game usually never drops to 60fps but when i look at the mountain where the caves are the fps drops to 10fps lol.
mine are the worst when im up high looking down on a compound or on a roof looking at the horizon. the new map has so much more to render than the previous ones
i think i found a possible solution. not sure if it works for anyone. go to the games directory and delete the folder named "user". it will revert all your ingame settings to default but u can change it back to ur liking. the massive fps drop is gone for me.
Hi, I have 4070 super, ryzen 7 7700, and I'm getting 70-75 fps on 1080p native with everything ultra, I tried lowering some settings, but only shadow quality did some difference. I have the latest drivers. I really don't know whats happening, benchmarks on youtube show a lot more fps. This is the first time I had a problem like that with any game on this pc.
4070 super and 7 5800 owner is here. 85-165 fps in 2k, dlss doesn't make sense. Even if VGA is not 100% loaded fps may drop anyway also makes this game too blurry without sharpness. AS is 1tx, 2tx makes game too blurry and 1x is too crispy. Textures on high everything else on low. Your CPU is higher gen than mine and vga equal and dramatic fps difference, they messed this up really hard

Nothing I found would be responsible for such a disparity between the supposed fps I should have had, and what I have now. Edit: I found it. Ultra shadow quality, and ultra fog tank fps hard compared to very high, to anyone, who has these problems like me, be careful with those. But still, in the benchmarks they had it on max and it was okay, so go figure.
See if lowering the VRAM target to 80% helps. Also don't change any graphics settings while in the match. It seems to degrade the performance. Hopefully they will patch it.

@@kingkracker1998 Bro, the 1070 cant run it that well now, specially in 2k anymore and most games dont run well beyond 1080p with that card, even tho it got 8gb witch helps a bit...but in raw power not anymore, on steam page it says RTX 2060 Super 8GB, tho a regular 6GB one would do the job just not beyond high and 1080p since that card rated to be stronger than 1070 ti despite the 2gb VRM diff. If anything set everything to low/Medium so ur FPS at least dosent get tanked to much, and also 1070 is not strong enough anymore for 2k with new games since 2020, in a sense 1080p is it's limit as if it a 6gb card now :/
Yup. Not only I disabled it, but also enabled sharpness filter in the Nvidia control panel since Hunt's graphics after the update seem a bit blurry for me in general.

For anyone that wants the quick version, everything on low but textures. If you have an rtx card use dlss if you want to, same for amd with fsr.

You can check for cpu and gpu usage with many tools if you want to check

No, if you are getting too much drop, lock your fps.

Try raising gamma and turning down shadows in game?
Many players said that they have problems with black shadows. I think it's an issue on the crytek side

I FIRST TURNED ON THE NEWW UPDATE AND MY FPS WENT FROM 100 TO 40, and the game looked ugly as fuck. i just knew they was going to fuck this game up
Dlss and fsr make the game really blurry, same with motion blur and post processing. Turn it all off then follow this guide
