I'm back from my short Christmas break! How you all doing? This video is a bit different, but I hope you like it! I have big plans for 2021 that I can't wait to share with you guys!
I agree but when I see the man freezing in the cold, I can't help want to see the man just put on some decent cold-weather gear. May not look as hip and trendy but damn, there is something to be said for hiking boots, even just on wet city/town walks a hard and a waterproof, insulated jacket.

Oh my, pure nostalgia; really enjoyed this video. During college years, end of the 60s I wandered the town with my Father's Rolleiflex taking street photos. First cut is the deepest they say and I was now a Rollei girl. With my first job I bought my own camera, No Dad i do not want a Leica, I stormed out of the Leica shop and bought myself a gorgeous black Rolleiflex SL35 with 50mm & 135mm Zeiss lenses. In the 80s I added a Rollei 35s which I still opwn for trips. This lasted till 1990 when I switched to a black Nikon FM2n which I still use in the old Rollei luxury leather case. Now I sit looking at my new Sony A7ii street camera with Zeiss 35mm f2.8 and I realise all my cameras since 1973 all look the same. Rolleiflex may be gone but, it seems I am still a Rollei girl. I love how happy you seem in this video. Like a kid going through Disneyland. You obviously miss home so much and you’re enjoying your time there. To me, attitude affects your photography. The fact that you love doing this makes the photos so much better.
Thank you so much Frederik! I can see the passion you have for your childhood home, and photography too! I actually teared up in some spots remembering what it was like to go back to my childhood spots as an adult. It makes me homesick even though i have not been back in 25 years. Thank you for showing us where you grew up! And hug your mom for all of us!

I just love this video. As a child, I was with my parents in Denmark almost every year in the area around Esbjerg. I hope I can go there again sometime when the Corona shit is over. I hope you have / had a good time in your home country.
Absolutely love this video and your photos have such depth and emotion. I love Denmark and the people having been there at least a dozen times, but only to Copenhagen and Aalborg. There is much more beauty beyond that I would love to visit and shoot!
It was great to see the countryside around Esbjerg. I have relatives in Denmark, in fact I now have more relatives there than I do in the UK, and one of my cousins lives in Esbjerg. The west coast of Denmark looks wonderful for minimalist photography.
Denmark is so nice and beautiful...😊 I visit Blåvand and around over 20 times... It was always a very special and super positiv experience! So friendly people!!👍🏼😊 Stay healthy and best wishes from Bremen, Germany✌🏼🤩
I spent NYE on Fanø in 2003 visiting friends and have super fond memories of driving on the beach on the 1st of January drinking some Danish liquor before breakfast, apparently, it was a family tradition. Super nice island, love Denmark! Also great photos ;-)

Frederik, this is wonderful. Even with the winter weather you showed the beauty of Denmark. I would love to visit there - in the future when Americans are allowed in 🙂. I really like how you show the details, like the food and the ferry, and you didn’t take us on a “tourist” trip. Really well done.

2:33 I believe that type of roofing is called “thatched” 🙂 I personally live next to many thatched houses and they’re all very cozy looking!
