Trailer weighs 3700 lbs, axle rating it can hold 6700 lbs, Vin tag is de-rated to 9999 k lbs for the states that need a class A license to tow a trailer with a rating of 10,001k lbs and higher. These are 80 inches wide between the fenders, so a f450 wont fit because the front hubs will contact the fenders in the dropped position. Though it should be ok handling the weight. I have put a 7k lbs tractor on mine. It just takes a few air charge cycles to raise it. The air tank is only a few gallons. These are around $25k+ new with all the upgrades.
How much does something like this cost? And do they make one with enough weight capacity to carry a F450?
Interested.
3700 lbs + 6700 lbs does not = 10,000 lbs.... So, which is it? What does the trailer weigh empty?
