I don't really get why all of the TH-camrs are ignoring the fact that Samsung's remaster image does the exact same thing. At first I thought Google's implementation would be better but the results in this video isn't that much better than what I can do in Samsung

really?? you are excited for that.. i mean there is an app snapseed which have and option to increase sharpness... you can do that manually on that app and that app launched years ago.... so it isn't that impressive
